The gorgeous day allowed us to sit outside, and from there, everything was a pleasure. We were warmly welcomed and served with attention and professionalism: we felt truly pampered. The dish that everyone raved about? The strangozzi cacio e pepe with truffle, a true delight. It was one of those tables where you laugh, eat well, and never want to leave. We'll be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

08/04/2026: I came back here again to enjoy the great food and atmosphere. We came at lunch time, where we waited a little longer for our food, but we must say that we all enjoyed ourselves. The fresh fish was amazing.....the homemade pasta tasted like grandma's and everything was just great. I will definitely come back here again when I pass by.

10/04/2026: I couldn't believe it: so close to the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, just 50 meters away, there's such a beautiful structure. Evocative interiors with carved rock, a magnificent garden outside, and truly beautiful lava stone tables. Luckily, I took the advice: I came and had a truly wonderful meal.

10/04/2026: The garden is beautiful, well-kept with plants and colorful, uniquely crafted lava stone tables. The brickwork throughout makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. The interior is also fantastic, with a charming and characterful dining room. The staff is truly helpful, and the food is delicious: it's definitely not a touristy place, despite the very reasonable prices. And it's worth noting: it's just 50 steps from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.

17/03/2026: We spent three days in Assisi and found this restaurant for dinner. After trying it on the first night, we decided to eat there the other nights as well. What can I say...a truly beautiful, well-kept place with very kind and helpful staff. The cuisine is traditional Umbrian, using top-quality ingredients. If you're passing through, you absolutely must stop by this restaurant. A tip for dessert? Order the chocolate cake, it's divine. Thanks to all the staff.

30/03/2026: Found somewhat by chance, the Le Mandrie farmhouse was truly a discovery! The location is excellent, being up high it enjoys a wonderful view! The owner and manager are two exquisite people, and in the way they talk to you and explain, you can see all the dedication and commitment they put into everything they do. Cheeses, cured meats, and oil are all produced on their own! The oil is amazing! I can't even tell you about the jams! You have to go there, even for a day! I recommend it! We will definitely be back!!!! Thanks to Mr. Alessandro and Mr. Marco! Congratulations!!!

16/03/2026: Although a bit complicated, the view makes the walk worthwhile... Authentic, high-quality, well-prepared products. We were there this weekend, four adults and four children, and not everyone ordered a full menu. However, the bill of €45 per person (adults and children) seemed a bit steep... We were a little disappointed.

26/03/2026: Drawn by this restaurant with its vaulted ceilings and exposed stone, we entered for dinner, sampling some typical Umbrian dishes. Scrambled eggs with truffles and torta al testo, followed by truffle strangozzi, paired with a fine Montefalco Sagrantino. These delicious dishes completely satisfied us.

16/03/2026: Kudos to the waiter. The food could be improved. We ordered pasta, but it wasn't very hot (though the flavor was good). We ordered the soft-centered tart for dessert, but it was overcooked. It wasn't soft-centered and was almost burnt on the outside.

06/04/2026: After a lovely trip to the city of Assi, we decided to have lunch just outside the center to enjoy the view and the tranquility. We couldn't have found a better place than this. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, and having a 3-year-old, it couldn't have been better to find outdoor play equipment for him. Trampoline, swings, slide, slide. Everything was top-notch.

28/03/2026: When we wanted to eat dinner, they set us up at a table in the basement because the owner was there with his personal guests. We left without eating.

03/01/2026: How was the food? So bad that we went back two days in a row (the second day specifically). We were served excellently, with professionalism, courtesy, and that touch of friendliness that never hurts, in a lovely place, with a gorgeous dining room... so much so that my 4-year-old son Leo wanted to come back. The quality of the food... I hope calling it excellent isn't an understatement... the platter, mentioned by someone who can't remember the name, considered insufficient, was of excellent quality with genuine, traditional products at a fair price... not to mention the rest: pasta alla Norcina, eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi with wild boar, grandma's egg, and the tagliatelle with both ragù and mushrooms, which my son devoured. Not to mention the desserts... so if you have the courage not to call this a super excellent restaurant... I would recommend... McD.

02/01/2026: The typical dishes are all delicious, with just the right portions (not too much, not too little), and the atmosphere is rustic, romantic, and even intimate/cozy, and I'd say comfortable. Quick and friendly service, family-run, with not a single detail out of place, and attention to customer service, empathy, and a willingness to engage in conversation. The price is more than fair—in fact, I'd say convenient. I'm attaching the receipt so it's clear that this isn't just my perception, but the reality of the facts. The platter I've pictured was full of typical, strictly local products, carefully arranged, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend booking because there are only a few seats (about 40, I'd say). Note for those with pets: I've noticed that dogs are welcome. Be careful, don't be put off by the negative reviews; they're all from years ago and certainly refer to previous management, given that the current one has been open for less than two years.
