While visiting Todi, encouraged by the good reviews, we stopped for lunch to try the famous "torta al testo." We did not disappoint. Two torte al testo, with sausage and grilled vegetables, were delicious. A unique flavor. A must try. The owners are very kind. The restaurant, very centrally located, is small, but in the summer there are a few tables outside.

Excellent sandwiches and top-notch service, always available. We spent a fabulous April 25th in Todi, enjoying sandwiches with traditional sausage and Umbrian prosciutto in the square.... So delicious! We'll definitely be back 👏

A truly local experience, they prepare filled sandwiches (both meat and vegetarian) in an intimate, rustic setting where the friendly staff will help you create the perfect sandwich at a competitive price. A feast of flavor where the simplicity and quality of the ingredients will leave you long-memorable. This will be a must-visit for me when I pass through Todi. Antonio

14/07/2026: Bit pricier than other local restaurants but good quality food and very nice outside area next to the fountain in front of the church.
13/07/2026: The atmosphere was delightful: we ate outside in front of the square. The staff was kind, welcoming, and gave us great advice. The mixed antipasto for two was superb, carefully prepared, and plentiful!

We will not hesitate to return. ...Update after a year: we have returned to La Locanda del Tartufo and can only fully confirm last year's review and the hope to return as soon as possible!
03/08/2026: A charming place for a special dinner, in a beautiful square. You can enjoy the delicious umbricelli with truffles, superb. The main courses are a little salty, but everything is really good. The staff is truly kind and friendly, and the service is prompt. The house wine is delicious. Highly recommended!
