11/10/2025: An absolute highlight from start to finish during our week in Kaltern. That means: excellent, attentive, and friendly service without being overly pretentious or overly fussy, and various seating options were offered depending on your preference. The prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it -> extremely delicious and perfectly prepared. A great wine selection. All in all, a fantastic evening, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Kaltern!

03/10/2025: A little gem in Plazores We ourselves are from Vigilio di Marebbe, but here at the Plazores guesthouse with André and Jan, we always feel at home – and at the same time, like we're on a special journey. The old farmhouse parlor radiates warmth and comfort, and you immediately sense that heart and tradition are at the heart here. The food is simply outstanding: authentic Ladin cuisine, finely balanced with South Tyrolean hospitality. Every dish bears the hallmark of dedication and attention to detail. You can taste their connection to the region – honest, authentic, and of the highest quality. The friendliness of André and Jan, who welcome their guests with natural warmth, deserves special mention. It's also fascinating that they speak so many languages ​​perfectly, understand every guest, and make everyone feel welcome. This is where genuine hospitality, culinary authenticity, and an ambience steeped in history come together. Added to this is the family atmosphere: the mother herself is in the kitchen, conjuring up wonderful dishes, while the father tends the farm and feeds the animals. This authenticity and down-to-earth atmosphere make the visit even more special. In short: Plazores is not just an inn, but a place where we feel happy and richly blessed. Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: The perfect dinner to celebrate my birthday. We chose this place because we wanted to eat something delicious in a quiet setting and celebrate another year, and it exceeded all expectations beyond our wildest dreams. Excellent wines, friendly staff, and the tuna tartare was out of this world, much better than many beef tartares I've eaten (and I say this as a meat lover). Then came the spaghetti with thick ragù, which almost moved me to tears at how good it was, with that enveloping sauce that made you feel satisfied with every bite. Finally, a Garronese sirloin steak, strictly rare, that melted in your mouth, with an excellent mustard sauce and a delicious rosemary and olive oil cured meat; every bite was a delight. Special mention also goes to the seafood pasta and the swordfish. I don't usually give too many compliments to a place, but here they are obligatory. Excellent ingredients, well-crafted and carefully prepared dishes, friendly staff, perfect combinations and flavors, more than fair prices, and adequate (I'd even say generous) portions. What more could you ask for? Compliments to the staff; if we pass through Arco again, we'll definitely stop here! Well done!

02/10/2025: I would like to provide feedback regarding an unpleasant experience my partner and I had at your restaurant on Tuesday, 30 September. Upon arrival, we were offered a table next to guests who had brought their dog. As I suffer from allergies, we kindly asked if it was possible to be seated in an area of the restaurant without animals. Unfortunately, the server informed us that there was no such option available. Consequently, we were unable to stay and had to leave without dining. In addition to the allergy concern, I would like to point out that the presence of dogs inside dining areas raises questions of hygiene and food safety. According to general food safety and hygiene regulations, restaurants are expected to maintain a clean environment where food is prepared and consumed. Allowing animals into guest areas may compromise this standard and can create an exclusionary experience for guests with allergies or sensitivities. It was very disappointing, as we had looked forward to dining at your establishment. Sadly, under the current circumstances, I cannot recommend the restaurant to others.

06/10/2025: We did a 8 day trip through Bavaria down to Bolzano Italy, and this was my favorite restaurant! After driving hours in the Alps we were STARVING and needed food as soon as possible. I read the reviews and chose Pretzhof as that place. Everything was so so incredible, honestly some of the most flavorful and food I have ever had. Everything tasted fresh and handmade, Seeing the cows and that view on top of the delicious food made this whole experience phenomenal!

04/10/2025: How can I describe it? There's no drinks menu or menu. The proprietor appears in person and rattles off the dishes available that day in seconds. We felt hopelessly overwhelmed and overwhelmed. Especially when you can't calmly think about what you're in the mood for and can't calculate how much this or that dish costs. Perhaps you would call that quaint. Perhaps well-to-do people, for whom price is no object, will turn up their noses at my review. Fortunately, you could see photos beforehand and get a rough idea of ​​what the meal would be. We then opted for a kind of appetizer: dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen, coleslaw. Since we had no idea of ​​the price and were too afraid to ask, we shared it. A bread basket arrived and, commendably, a welcome from the kitchen (a board with ham and mustard). Ultimately, everything tasted very good and was enough for us. Conclusion: This is probably the typical South Tyrolean hut. If you like it, you'll be in good hands here.

20/09/2025: A truly positive experience. We tried several of the brewery's beers. The staff was incredibly friendly and explained the characteristics of each individual beer they produce and offered recommendations. This brewery is unique in that they let you taste the beer before ordering (a highly appreciated feature). We also had a very good sandwich with the beers. We'll be back.

06/10/2025: We chose Ai Vicoli for our first evening in Trento. Unfortunately, we hadn't noticed that the restaurant didn't open until 7 p.m. and arrived at 6 p.m. Luckily, the attached wine bar, which opens at 6 p.m., was offering a special TrentoDOC Fest offer, so we were able to sample three different TrentoDOCs as an aperitif. The service and food were fantastic. We highly recommend Ai Vicoli!

The menu isn't extensive, but it's lovingly curated – with very tasty dishes, especially the various bagels and bowls. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and simply delicious.
