16/10/2025: Beautiful plates, but not much to it... Rigati all'arrabbiata? Anything but arrabbiata, but al dente nonetheless. The "mixed salad": green salad with sand between your teeth, four fagioli verdi, and canned corn... The black plate looks classy, ​​but belies the lack of passion in the kitchen. The large sun terrace lacks cushioned seating; they're probably only available upon request. Tourists, cyclists, and workers are constantly queuing here, it's just a shame that the food falls by the wayside... Conclusion: Beautiful place, friendly service, but there's plenty of room for improvement in the culinary department... 🚲🚲🚲 Only 3 out of 5

16/10/2025: We spent three days in Burgstall And three days at the Etschgrund for dinner. The food was excellent all three days. We received a very friendly welcome upon entry. Most restaurants could learn a thing or two from the friendliness of the waitress and the manager.

17/10/2025: We spent the last evening of our vacation at the Pretzhof. It couldn't have been better! Since the Pretzhof had been recommended to us, we arrived with high expectations. All the tables in the restaurant were full, but the manager offered us a seat at the bar. It didn't feel awkward at all—quite the opposite! We've rarely seen such friendly, dedicated, and competent service staff! The wine list offers a huge selection from local and even distant wineries, so everyone can find something they like. We each ordered three courses from the manager. He gave us great advice on choosing the right dish. All three courses were simply world-class! No frills, just honest cuisine at a completely reasonable price!

13/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant just steps from Vipiteno. Traditional cuisine using local South Tyrolean ingredients, cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the pasta dishes, the open dumpling, and the appetizers. The wine selection is excellent.

06/10/2025: We chose Ai Vicoli for our first evening in Trento. Unfortunately, we hadn't noticed that the restaurant didn't open until 7 p.m. and arrived at 6 p.m. Luckily, the attached wine bar, which opens at 6 p.m., was offering a special TrentoDOC Fest offer, so we were able to sample three different TrentoDOCs as an aperitif. The service and food were fantastic. We highly recommend Ai Vicoli!

30/10/2025: My subjective review as a solo traveler/diner this time (my first review of Wally's Pizzeria is now 9 years old and could use an update). First off, everything is still excellent, in detail: 1. The food (quality, taste, selection, flexibility): Everything is top-notch without reservation. My pizza was, as always, superb, the dough fantastic, the topping (porcini) perfect. And despite the huge number of options on the menu, I once again had an extra topping request (bacon) – no problem. For me, definitely the best pizza in Naturns and the surrounding area. 2. Value for money: absolutely fair 3. Service and staff: extremely friendly; you feel like a guest here, which is no longer a given in Naturns and elsewhere. 4. Atmosphere and ambiance: I like it, even though I'm always a bit bothered by the slightly too bright lighting. Dim it! :-) 5. Price level: absolutely okay, see also point 2. 11. Recommendation: anytime, whether dining in or Takeaway. What I'm wondering is: Was Wally actually serving me?

19/10/2025: A must-see in San Vigilio After watching the episode of "Four Restaurants" in Val Badia years ago, I liked both this restaurant and its owner, though I felt they were unfairly penalized in the ratings. Since then, whenever I vacation in San Vigilio di Marebbe, Tlo Plazores has become a regular stop. This year, too, has been the case. Aside from the beautiful and characteristic setting, an old farmhouse within a farm with stables and animals, I truly appreciate the authenticity of the products, prepared and presented with great care and originality. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with service characterized by great attention and kindness. An absolutely positive experience that I highly recommend.

03/10/2025: A little gem in Plazores We ourselves are from Vigilio di Marebbe, but here at the Plazores guesthouse with André and Jan, we always feel at home – and at the same time, like we're on a special journey. The old farmhouse parlor radiates warmth and comfort, and you immediately sense that heart and tradition are at the heart here. The food is simply outstanding: authentic Ladin cuisine, finely balanced with South Tyrolean hospitality. Every dish bears the hallmark of dedication and attention to detail. You can taste their connection to the region – honest, authentic, and of the highest quality. The friendliness of André and Jan, who welcome their guests with natural warmth, deserves special mention. It's also fascinating that they speak so many languages ​​perfectly, understand every guest, and make everyone feel welcome. This is where genuine hospitality, culinary authenticity, and an ambience steeped in history come together. Added to this is the family atmosphere: the mother herself is in the kitchen, conjuring up wonderful dishes, while the father tends the farm and feeds the animals. This authenticity and down-to-earth atmosphere make the visit even more special. In short: Plazores is not just an inn, but a place where we feel happy and richly blessed. Highly recommended!

27/09/2025: We came here quite by chance. The pizza is from the wood-fired oven and is fantastic, The owners are very friendly! The prices are quite fair for South Tyrol. When we were shocked to discover that there were no more buses from there shortly after 7:00 PM, we were quickly and easily helped out when we asked for a taxi so we could reach the nearest bus stop and catch the last bus of the day to Siusi. If I could, I would give it 10 stars; service like this isn't something you can take for granted! Thanks again for the delicious food and your help!

04/11/2025: We had lunch at Restaurant Rametz at the end of the season. The restaurant was practically empty and therefore very quiet. Besides the concise menu, the very friendly staff recommended several specialties. The menu includes both meat and fish dishes. The prices are on the higher end, but the food is consistently beautifully presented and tastes excellent. The wine list is highly recommended; it truly offers something for every palate. Rametz isn't a tourist hotspot, which is exactly why it suited us perfectly. We will definitely visit Restaurant Rametz again.

11/11/2025: Craft brewery with an adjoining beer hall that also offers pizza by the slice, fried foods, and various sandwiches. The location is very interesting, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, and they explain all the beers in great detail. The beers are absolutely worth trying; we did, and they're all truly delicious. If you're passing by, definitely stop by! ...I definitely will!
