Tilia is a really great restaurant if you want a nice and delicious meal after a long hike. The food arrived quickly and tasted excellent. The service was very friendly and the staff clearly enjoyed their work. I recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Chris's cuisine is made with authentic ingredients, carefully selected and prepared to ensure a clear connection to the mountains and the land of his origins, yet with a touch of creativity rooted in the chef's international experience. Tilia is an intimate, elegant, and cozy space that makes you feel both at home and privileged. Chris is a special person, who tells the story of the dishes he sometimes serves himself with captivating passion, enthusiasm, and humility. Anita, Chris's sommelier partner, is a master at welcoming guests and guiding them through a well-rounded culinary experience, suggesting select wines from Tilia's cellar.

Nestled in the snow in Dobbiaco, just a few kilometers from the Olympic venues (Antholz is very close), Tilia is a treat, a caress of food and kindness. Exquisite hospitality, surprising dishes without being overly extravagant, meticulous attention to detail, a strong connection to the local area yet with the ability to look beyond. A blend of balanced flavors, yet rich in imagination.

We had a great time; they welcomed us into a cozy atmosphere with only four tables, despite the presence of a rather polite and verbally restrained child. The dishes were sophisticated and well-portioned, with touches of originality, such as the rare marmot, plump and delicious. Prices were reasonable without being overpriced. We recommend staying at the nearby Grand Hotel Dobbiaco guesthouse.

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, which boasts a well-deserved Michelin star, and starting from the very beginning, I can confidently say we'll be happy to return.
Everything was original and perfect, from the welcome, to the ambiance, and of course, the dishes on the four-course tasting menu. In the dining room, Sommelier Anita Mancini was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and in the kitchen, Chef Chris Oberhammer ensures the highest level of research and creation of dishes, using excellent, mostly local, ingredients.

Last night, my partner and I returned to Tilia after a year. Both times, the food and service were impeccable. More than a dinner, it's an experience, and I highly recommend it. We'll be back, because three things come in threes.
