The food and service was incredible! 🤩 They have really good wine selection with local Trentino wines which were absolutely amazing.

Nice menu with typical and interesting choices.
The only flaw was that when it came to dessert, they didn't tell us that tiramisu was off the menu, which we would have loved to have (we saw it being brought in on our way to the cashier). The strudel was good, though.

Quality products and olive oil. The sign outside says "no pets allowed." However, upon inquiry, our Golden Retriever (clean and well-behaved) was allowed on the covered veranda, a quiet and well-ventilated spot. In case of an urgent need, he could quickly and easily exit through the veranda's sliding doors. Water was provided.

We were warmly welcomed at this Molveno osteria, where we sampled local dishes. The quality was truly excellent: the first course, pappardelle with mountain pine topped with hand-chopped chamois ragù,
was so good we wished the portion had been larger. As for the venison morsels, a photo of which is attached, there's nothing more to say: they speak for themselves.

After 48 km of cycling with 1000 m of climbing (starting from Arco), we made a mandatory stop for lunch (we're food and wine cyclists). A platter of cold cuts and cheese to start, followed by delicious first courses: canederli, polenta gnocchi, and macaroni with Garda ragù. The second courses (seen passing by at other tables) were also delicious. We stopped for the first courses, otherwise the return journey, although mostly downhill,...
Highly recommended.

This is our first time in Trentino, and I must say that, in addition to seeing wonderful things, we found an excellent restaurant offering good food and impeccable service. Everyone was extremely kind and attentive to their customers. Highly recommended.

What can I say? I really liked the place. The food is excellent, with beautiful, carefully prepared dishes and a traditional atmosphere. The place was recommended by a local, as it's one of the few places still serving traditional cuisine. Highly recommended!

We visited Osteria del Maso twice during our stay in Molveno, including a birthday dinner, and the experience was consistently excellent.
The food is clearly based on high-quality local ingredients, with a strong focus on traditional Trentino cuisine. The venison we had was excellent, and the lamb chops were equally well prepared—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The homemade pasta also stood out, and the desserts were just as good.
The atmosphere is warm and authentic, exactly what you would expect from a proper Italian osteria. Despite being busy, the service was attentive and professional.
Overall, a very reliable choice in Molveno if you are looking for genuine regional food done right. We would definitely return.
