14/11/2025: Every time I go to Bolzano, stopping by Franziskaner Bäckerei is practically a ritual! I can't resist: as soon as I walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread makes my mouth water. Strudel? I always have it before leaving, otherwise the trip would be pointless! And the bread... guys, the pretzels are amazing, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, perfect for nibbling while walking around the city. Then there are all those other products with (to me) unpronounceable names, but really... they're delicious, each one better than the last! And it's not just the products that make the difference: the ladies and the entire staff are incredible! Always super smiley, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I remember once when I didn't know what to choose, a lady had me try three types of bread, saying, "Try them, you'll see which one you like!"... well, she was right, I went home with a happy bakery haul! 😄 In short, this place is a must-see for me every time I'm in Bolzano. Fantastic products, valuable advice, and genuine smiles! If you're passing through Bolzano, you really can't miss it!

21/11/2025: I've been twice, for dinner and lunch with the Törggelen menu. Everything was very good, the atmosphere was traditional. It's a shame they didn't serve chestnuts at lunch. But I recommend it.

11/11/2025: Hello We were a group, booked in advance, and I have nothing good to say. The soup was spoiled. The trifle was cold. My son only ordered one main course and had to wait well over an hour while everyone else at the same table had already received their meals. In general, everything took far too long, and when we inquired, several people received rude replies (look how many there are!). Some even had to wait almost half an hour for drinks... Not recommended!

17/08/2025: Excellent local brewery. The place has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy cool summer evenings, and there's always a great atmosphere.

23/08/2025: I went to this bar for an aperitivo, with a wide selection of cocktails. Friendly waiters and good service. The location is a bit inconvenient on the street, but it has a decent view. I went back for some croissants, and I have to say they were worth it.

20/10/2025: Sunday lunch in mid/late October. You come in for pizza because the pizza menu is displayed outside, and when you're seated... a surprise. No pizza for lunch. If they'd put it outside, we wouldn't have come in. Plus, two platters of cured meats (a plate for two) with slices of piadina... no plates. The four of us paid a €2.50 cover charge each for a paper napkin, a fork, a knife, and a glass. NEVER AGAIN.

13/10/2025: We came here after a relaxing spa, and had an excellent seafood appetizer. For our first course, grilled sole and shrimp and zucchini garganelli were out of this world. Finally, there are three children's menus, not just the usual pasta with tomato sauce or cutlet with chips, but also a variety of one-pot meals. We had the Spiderman menu for our daughter, with tagliatelle with meat sauce, sausage, and baked potatoes—she absolutely loved it! And to finish, a tiramisu and a warm, delicious torta della nonna. We'll definitely be back!

22/10/2025: This review is for the coffee shop only, not the hotel. The coffee is decent, but the staff is rude.

23/09/2025: Once a magical place with prompt service and an excellent selection of pastries, today the service is mediocre and the selection is limited and not as excellent as it once was. I've been going to this pastry shop for 35 years, and I speak with full knowledge of the facts.

07/12/2025: I recommend this place for an overnight stay and a base from which to explore the wonderful routes and medieval villages. The service is courteous, helpful, and welcoming. The only downside is that breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m. It would be ideal to have it at 7:30 a.m. in the winter to have more time to enjoy the daylight.

25/11/2025: Of course the location is beautiful but the abhorrent service and treatment deserve a one star across the board Room cleanliness not good and sheets feel old and too thin pillow stank Wasps in the wall, smoke and ash falling on the balcony; hidden fees, the owners are creepy, unhelpful and downright rude

11/10/2025: A relaxed trattoria away from the tourist areas, with very friendly staff and delicious local food at fair prices. A real hit.

06/08/2025: A very unfriendly experience for customers. This is without a doubt the least customer-friendly restaurant I've ever been to. It turned out we couldn't pay by card, so we were reluctantly directed to a nearby ATM. Upon returning, we were greeted unfriendly again and directed to a secluded table, even though there were plenty of other seats available. We felt like we were being treated differently because we weren't Italian. The atmosphere was so unpleasant that we ultimately decided not to order anything and left without eating. My advice: avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated rudely and unwelcomingly.

08/08/2025: Spritz with just water and Aperol you can see from afar, prices are too high for such poor and inadequate service
