12/08/2025: Every time I pass through Sestri Ponente, it's a ritual to stop at Caffetteria Merano, where respect, hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism are complemented by the friendly owners. 02/10/2025: I don't like writing negative reviews, because it means that what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in the mountains turned out not to be. We arrived and after a very long wait, they took us to our room, with the understanding, as we climbed the stairs, that we could change rooms the next day. Arriving on the top floor of the bar/restaurant building, we entered this cold room. We went in and began to notice the poor level of cleanliness, the small bathroom. We immediately pointed out that it was cold, and the receptionist replied that they would turn the heating on at 9:00 PM. We had dinner in a beautiful restaurant, both the first and second courses were good. Once back in our room, we noticed that the radiators were still cold, as was the room. It was 9:30 PM, so I pointed out again that the room was cold, the usual response from the receptionist. Moral of the story: a cold night! The next morning, they got married in the new building. The room was small, still '90s style, but at least well insulated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! Room rating: 1 Breakfast: 6 Dinner: 7 Spa/pool: 7

21/10/2025: The Raffl is a nightclub that looks like it's stepped out of the 2000s and landed right in the center of Merano. It's a miracle that's even possible these days, given the number of neighbors. Once you've gotten past the bouncers, who are actually very friendly, you go straight down to the basement and through one of the three rooms until you're on the dance floor. The dance hall is located in a high medieval building. Probably the former torture chamber of the noble burgraves. These days, you're only tortured if you don't like the dance hits of the last 20 years blaring from the speakers. The DJ does his best to push every popular track through the Pioneer, thereby heating up the atmosphere among those present. In these temperatures, a trip to the bar is inevitable, and it's surprising that you don't have to pull your pants down all the way. This is a great way to bridge the time between 12 and the morning hours.

21/11/2025: I've been inside once and outside a few times in the spring. On sunny days, the lovely terrace is incredibly inviting. The food and drinks are delicious. Time flies there, especially with the fantastic view.

15/07/2025: Extremely disappointing food experience. The food tries to be sophisticated and unique, but unfortunately, the taste is so poor that it’s nearly inedible. It's really upsetting, especially considering that hotel guests don’t have other dining options on-site. To find alternative restaurants, you have to leave the property via funicular, which is inconvenient.

30/09/2025: Nice Mountain Restaurant short before the Tremalzo Tunnel🚵‍♂️ Food was excellent and made our very nice day perfect. The owner gave us special treatment because it took a bit longer to get the food. All in all we come again!

14/08/2025: It had been years since I had been up there and stopped for a refreshment break. I remember that it was run by a family with the older man and his children. Yesterday, while mountain biking up there, a friend and I decided to stop for a beer and a first course. I remember that they served very good spaghetti and huge portions. With great disappointment, I have to say that they are no longer what I remembered: tiny portions, incomparable quality. Foreign chef and waiters.

11/09/2025: Delicious ice cream!!!! Friendly staff and fast service! They also have vegan and lactose-free ice cream with many flavors! It seems like a great place to hang out with friends, and it's obviously very close to the lake! What more could you want? 100% recommended! Well done ❤️

27/10/2025: A visit to Mösl is a must for every South Tyrol vacation! Cartwheel-sized pizzas of the highest quality. A wide selection of Italian and Alpine products that are simply a delight. Fast and friendly service from long-serving staff. Due to high demand, reservations are recommended! We were really lucky last night, as they're going on holiday today! We wish the entire team a well-deserved vacation!

26/10/2025: A classic restaurant with excellent cuisine. The Wiener Schnitzel is delicious. The pizzas are enormous. The Kaiserschmarrn is a poem.

26/08/2025: Very clean. The atmosphere is stunning and quaint. I suggest providing a hairdryer in the bathroom.

07/08/2025: We had a great time. Excellent value for money. Very spacious rooms. The lady who runs the hotel is lovely, very kind, and always available. The cakes from the pastry shop are always fresh and phenomenal.

03/12/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, I was with my girlfriend, very friendly and smiling staff, really good sushi, lots of choice and special dishes, it wasn't very busy but unlike many other reviews the service was perfect and with the right timing, no dishes forgotten, value for money 9 excellent dishes and also quite abundant (not exaggerated), we had a great time when we return to Riva, this restaurant will be a sure thing 🥰👍🏼
