21/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in winter 2018 and were touched by the thoughtful kindness and delicious food. Fast forward a few years and it’s even better than we remember. A small handwritten menu offers Tuscan favorites that a perfect for the season. Everything is made fresh. Service is leisurely and thoughtful. This is a lovely place to eat and drink locally and enjoy the best of Tuscany.

18/10/2025: The owner is welcoming and friendly, and the place is simple with a quality, typically Tuscan menu that's delicious. Simplicity always wins, both in the dishes and the people.

22/10/2025: This restaurant was full of locals & for a reason. Good wholesome Home cooked style meals. We had lunch here & had a green salad, bocconcini and 2 hot traditional soups. The soup was so hearty, flavourful and filling that we left completely full and satisfied! The gentlemen who served us were all wonderful. We had vino which was great too. Located on a beautiful street between the castle & the church, wine shops & stores.

19/10/2025: Disappointing and a lesson in ensuring you know what you are getting ! I hate them but those menus with photos do have their advantages !! OK it's mid-October and so out of the peak tourist season and it's Sunday - but only having two of the "mains" was not a good start (- surely better to have a reduced/revised Menu if you are not going to offer all in quiet times). Hungry so stayed and make do with the "Firsts". Decided to go for the pasta with ragu, the latter to me being the delicious vibrant red meat sauce. However the resultant was none of that, simply pasta and minced beef. A huge plate full made it worse. The best thing in fact was the spinach side order and the 1/2 lt white wine - recommended ! Many more people came in after me and they managed to get that vibrant sauce and were happy so I don't know what went wrong for me. Maybe I had the allergy-proof version. As the only place offering more than a pizza, I feel a missed opportunity.

12/05/2025: Just had a fabulous dinner. Beautiful stone interior creates a very quaint Italian dining experience. The servers were very professional and attentive. The food was some of the best we have had during our 10 days in Tuscany. It is a quiet town south of Montalcino. Park in the free lot and make the climb up to the restaurant in the main square. If someone in your party and needs a little help they can be dropped off right in front.

03/05/2025: Locale molto curato che offre cucina tipica toscana situato in un piccolissimo borgo denominato Sant’Angelo in Colle. Piatti genuini con prodotti freschi e di qualità, come ad esempio l’ottima pasta fresca fatta in casa o gli gnocchi di patate. Consigliato!
