20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!

07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

08/09/2025: Upon arrival we had to stand by the entrance for about 7 minutes with the waitress passing by andpretending she didn’t see us. Than I stepped in and asked for a table (there were 2 free, just not cleaned). I’d spent 8 years speaking Italian, so there could be no mistake, the guy told me they were too busy to clean tables now and we had to wait. No problem. To my (logical) suggestion we’d wait with a glass of wine, I was told it could only happen after we were given a table. 10 minutes later the waitress finally spoke to me but only to tell us to wait outside the premises, because we were an impediment (which we were not, well out of the way). We left without ever getting to try their food. A disgrace.

08/09/2025: We went to this restaurant in the center of Montalcino without knowing it. I must say that the experience was positive. I found the risotto with pears, pecorino, and drops of Brunello really good. Highly recommended.

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.

07/09/2025: We had a fantastic experience here. To our great surprise, the bartender/sommelier, Jo, was Flemish—it's always nice to run into a fellow Belgian on vacation. He gave us a very passionate and engaging explanation of the various wines we were tasting. Highly recommended for wine lovers.
