06/11/2025: We celebrated my wife's fiftieth birthday with the family at the trattoria. We found the food excellent, the ossobuco was amazing... the staff were very kind and welcoming, the atmosphere is simple but warm, just what you expect to find when you go to a trattoria. Recommended 💯😉

05/11/2025: As soon as you enter the restaurant, you can hear the arrosticini being cooked. While we waited for them—five chicken and five mutton—we ordered an appetizer of Ascoli olives to share, but it's actually a portion for one person. To accompany the meat, we ordered grilled Treviso radicchio and sautéed turnips. I preferred the chicken arrosticini because the mutton ones are too strong for me. The arrosticini are small, so you'll need to order more depending on your hunger. Price €1.50 each. The final bill of €48 seems unreasonable for what we ate.

27/08/2025: It's all subjective, as always... for me, the pizza is infinitely thin (a super crispy and very light "crust," which if you cook it 5 seconds too long gets burned (and out of 5 pizzas, 3 were well overcooked) and... you'd have to eat 2 to be full.........). The service is good: friendly, fast, and precise. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is aesthetically pleasing, but the room, despite its irregular shape, creates a huge echo of voices, and even with 15-20 diners spread out in the room, at our table we couldn't hear each other. Prices are average.

19/08/2025: Ordered takeout, but I still recommend making a reservation to secure a spot. Open for dinner only, they were quick and helpful. The burgers and fries were good, the pizza a little less so, but it's not my style and some might like it; it's a bit too thin and burnt. The sandwiches are average, I recommend it for a quick, no-frills dinner.

02/11/2025: First time I've tasted a real Alba white truffle there with a divine beef batter. A well-known spot among locals, and it's easy to see why.

26/10/2025: After selecting restaurants in the center of Pistoia, I opted for La Botte Gaia. It's an excellent place from every perspective. The excellent food is divinely prepared. The service is provided by young, well-trained and, above all, very attentive staff. The unique setting, housed in an old building, is located in the old part of Pistoia, near the fruit and vegetable market, in a charming square.

22/10/2025: Profoundly disappointing experience. This is an old-school restaurant with a balanced menu and authentic staff — something I usually appreciate. However, in nearly 11 years of Russia’s war against Ukraine, it’s natural to expect a basic level of sensitivity toward Ukrainians who do not want to be addressed in Russian. Hearing this language is painful — it is associated with blood and death. Despite our polite request not to be spoken to in Russian, the restaurant sent a female staff member who insisted on using it, even delivering a short speech to justify her choice. That response showed a profound lack of empathy and cultural awareness. A place that values hospitality should respect its guests’ boundaries and the tragic reality that defines them. There are plenty of other places in the same price range with better food, service, and atmosphere, where respect and understanding still mean something.

20/10/2025: One of the best restaurants in Montecatini. Exceptional food and service. Refined wine list. A must for anyone visiting the area.

02/11/2025: It's not your typical pizza; there's so much quality, attention, research, and passion behind every bite. Crunch is something different, unique, and delicious. The quality is high and obviously comes at a cost, but certain taste experiences are worth trying. It's no coincidence that it's climbing the Italian rankings. A small place, but with attention to every detail. Anyone looking for something different is in the right place. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it. You eat with your mouth, with your eyes, and you'll always say WOW.

26/10/2025: We were two couples on Saturday evening at 7:30 PM, the only available time. The place was already packed, and there was a line outside for 9 PM. The atmosphere was very refined, with beautiful exposed stone ceilings and videos of the chef's creations: elegant and tasteful. It was a shame, however, that the space was too small and crowded: the background noise was excessive, and it was also quite hot. It's hard to call it a relaxing experience in those conditions. The pizza, however, was truly exceptional: the Visione di Marinara is among the best I've ever had, beautiful and delicious, the dough just a little chewy. The desserts were disappointing: good but with a bland presentation, not up to par with the restaurant.

15/10/2025: We found this restaurant while strolling through the streets of Pistoia, and I can say it was a great choice. Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant of all those we visited in Tuscany. Homemade food, freshly prepared. Excellent service and a very peaceful atmosphere. 10/10 value for money. We ordered spaghetti carbonara, vegetable lasagna, and tagliata with potatoes. For dessert, we had a cream cake, and with our coffee, they gave us a couple of shots of limoncello. In short, if you're in Pistoia, don't miss it.

30/08/2025: Our large group was greeted with a smile at this small restaurant, and we ate (and drank) very well. The couple who run the restaurant were very helpful and provided us with a wonderful experience of Tuscan family cooking. I recommend it!

12/11/2025: The place is great and very close to the Prati hotel, the staff is extremely nice and cheerful. All recommendations to visit, and it's not too expensive

19/10/2025: What an absolute pleasure to dine here. Great pizza (served only after 7pm), as well as great lasagne, paninis, and wine/cocktails. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the setting is friendly and casual. Special mention to the waiter (the bald gentleman), who was exceedingly polite, accommodating, and patient with food and drink orders. Everything we had was delicious. This is a great spot to get a meal, or just stop for a drink (as of October 2025, aperol spritz are only €5!). If you’re in Montecatini for a night or two, this place deserves a stop!

07/09/2025: We had dinner at La Mandragola and it was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, matched only by the exceptional service. The setting in the courtyard is warm and comfortable, making the whole experience feel special. A memorable spot in San Gimignano that I’d happily return to.

13/09/2025: A deli, bakery, delicatessen, and small wine shop with select local and national products, all managed with skill, kindness, and expertise by the salespeople who go out of their way to guide you through the myriad delicacies on their counter. Prices are in line with other similar establishments, but the professionalism and smile make the difference.

01/07/2025: We stopped by Lunardi for a schiacciata al volo, on a very hot day in mid-June, but then we stopped there for lunch. There are two small tables available inside the cool and well-kept place. Recommended stuffed schiacciata.
