17/08/2025: On our last evening in Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Upon entering, we had to look closely because the restaurant area was hidden behind the bar. Fabio was our host and welcomed us to the restaurant. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes served are clearly prepared with love. Besides the menu items, there was also the opportunity to customize the dishes to your liking. We could share the appetizer, and for our son, we could order the classic pasta carbonara, which wasn't on the menu. Fabio recommended a delicious wine to pair with the pasta and provided helpful explanations about the flavors and the region's origins. The food was delicious, flavorful, and neatly presented. The staff checked regularly to make sure everything was to our liking without being intrusive. The dessert menu made choosing so much difficult because everything looked so delicious! Finally, we had an espresso and an ice-cold limoncello on the house. The price-quality ratio was excellent in our opinion. The price of a glass of wine or a beer was a bit high, but it's a choice whether or not to have it. We did and we absolutely didn't regret it. We certainly ate cheaper, but for the food we enjoyed, the bill was certainly not excessive. As a complimentary dessert, we were treated to a beautiful view. This restaurant is definitely recommended. Reservations are recommended! We truly had a wonderful evening.

12/08/2025: The meal was very good, but the gnocchi lacked seasoning. I would also recommend that the restaurant provide condiments such as salt and pepper at the beginning of the meal. The atmosphere was good, but I would have appreciated some light background music.

28/08/2025: Historic restaurant in fact this family has been catering in Monsummano since 1947 family and genuine atmosphere excellent relationship between quality and price fast service seasoned with a lot of education and kindness from the staff. Traditional Italian dishes with some revisitations to favor local products

21/08/2025: It's always difficult to be objective, but this is one of those cases where you can't and shouldn't reward passion... because anyone can do catering, but those who leave an indelible memory are very few. These guys (alas, I don't remember their names) have left a mark on my memory. Their competence, professionalism, and above all, passion, they managed to make me feel it, and for this I can only thank them. Anything else would be commenting with useless technicalities. Go and share their passion; you'll be thrilled!

19/08/2025: We chose this restaurant based on the excellent reviews, and we must say that the dinner exceeded our expectations. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and available to accommodate our every need. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm and welcoming. We had an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, and each course was a true discovery of perfectly balanced flavors, textures, and pairings. Truly excellent, congratulations!

27/08/2025: This wonderful little restaurant is pure talent, the rediscovery of a pure and authentic tradition with a delicious touch of panache. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles, kindness, and infinite sweetness of the wonderful Francesca, a wonderful woman who, punctually, along with the phenomenal Chef, an expert mushroom hunter and phenomenal cook, approached the table to interact with my wife and me. Wonderful smiles and an immense heart. Their service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. Together, they bring infinite joy to those who know how to appreciate the sweetness and refinement of the soul. A continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begins with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminates in the perfection of the evolution at the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the raw materials of excellent quality. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. Cucine e Pensieri is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is among the best you'll find in the area. But... there's one thing that stands out above all else: the meat with mushrooms and truffles. Someone said it was scrumptious... I completely agree! 15/08/2025: Beautiful setting for intimate birthday parties and romantic dinners in the middle of the vineyard, surrounded by fairy lights and nature! Traditional Tuscan food (even if the pici aren't pici), perfect Florentine steak and good wine, beautifully presented desserts, but their bolder flavor could use some work. Service was borderline, VERY long waits, but the staff were friendly. Very fair prices (about €10 a plate). I'll be back!

25/08/2025: This renowned restaurant was recommended to us by a couple of relatives, and we had high expectations. The place is very well-maintained, and the service is truly friendly and helpful. The presentation of the dishes is a bit lacking: you can't omit ingredients from the menu that are integral to the dish you'll be served. It's very important to be descriptive, especially if you're listed in the Michelin Guide! This is a major drawback and significantly reduced our stay at the restaurant.

16/07/2025: We were two people dining here, as clearly shown on the receipt (2 coffees, 2 glasses of wine, 2 main courses). However, we were unfairly charged 5x coperto (€12.50), instead of 2, as listed in the menu (€2.50 per person). This is misleading and feels like a deliberate attempt to overcharge tourists. The service was indifferent and impersonal — no smile, no warmth, just going through the motions. That said, the food itself was tasty and well-prepared. If the staff believe they can scam tourists once and never see them again, they are mistaken. We've been to Pistoia many times and we always come back — but experiences like this will influence our choices in the future.

25/06/2025: Our favorite place to eat good food in front of a good bottle. The cuisine is Tuscan, with typical dishes and seasonal menus. Everything very fresh, good choice of wines. Very kind and helpful service without affectation. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2025: David, Giorgia, and Dog are possible the best hosts I have ever interacted with. Their farm stay is comfortable with breathtaking views. There’s much to do from visiting other Tuscan villages or bigger cities, to relaxing on the patio with a good book and a glass of wine. No detail is overlooked during your stay and everything is carefully crafted including their itinerary guide book, included breakfasts, and once a week farm-to-table dinners. Wonderful, wonderful stay. Could not be happier.

02/08/2025: The B&B was fantastic. The location was beautiful and secluded, yet good restaurants were conveniently close by. David was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly and attentive. The extra virgin olive oil tour with accompanying dinner he offers is highly recommended!

05/09/2025: Despite presenting itself as a trattoria, the prices are those of a restaurant. As is often the case in Italy, everything seems excessively expensive, despite the homemade cuisine served here. The staff wasn't particularly friendly; in fact, they were rude at times.

02/09/2025: I was in Montecatini Terme for a weekend, and I booked "Da Gina" based on other users' positive reviews. I hope this, in turn, can be helpful to anyone looking for excellent food! A typical Tuscan trattoria, with a family atmosphere (I love the red-checkered tablecloths, which evoke the feeling of good old-fashioned goodness), kind and friendly staff, and fair prices. Excellent food, from appetizers to dessert! Highly recommended! Here are a few photos, which need no comment...
