12/10/2025: 2025 and 2024 We were, of course, back here again and enjoyed the time and the food. The owner and chef has such a great Italian soul. Tutte bene & bravissimo It's worth being a regular there again. Greetings from Tedesco Frantoio and see you soon in 2026, Scusa. Unfortunately, we're not open as often anymore and therefore booked up. Ciao ragazzi We visited DaSandrino frequently in 2018. It was always exceptionally good. The beef with pepper sauce was particularly special. The side dishes were excellent. And the atmosphere and service had a rustic Italian feel. Unfortunately, none of this quality is present this year. The beef is only available for two people. The beef is now served on the bone and is more raw than cooked. Trimming the bone isn't for everyone. With the current staff changes, the service has fallen short, and a great deal of friendliness has been lost. What has retained its village character? The new prices on the menu. They've increased by a good 15%, and so that you don't forget, the old prices have been crossed out or overwritten by hand. Positive... Yes. The chef briefly wandered over to our table, but only because his friends were sitting next door. A shame and a shame. I don't think we can recommend you at the moment. Micha

12/10/2025: The menu is a bit outdated, the mixed appetizer seemed a bit too expensive for what they served, and the steak was tough. And by the way, my dog, who you made a fuss about, is more polite than many of the customers you have sitting inside.

19/08/2025: Very welcoming and friendly owner. Very good dinner, dishes also carefully presented. Good desserts, I recommend trying all their desserts.

17/09/2025: We chose to dine at Fiaschetteria "La Pace" in Pistoia after seeing its excellent reviews on Google Maps, and we were not disappointed. The food was truly delicious, and the positive reviews were spot on. The service was remarkably quick, and the menu offered a great variety of tasty options, from pasta and meat dishes to a good selection of vegetarian choices. The Pici with Cacio e Pepe was out of this world and the best one I ever had. The only downside was the heat. We had a reservation but had to sit inside as there were no outdoor tables available. On a very hot day, it was quite warm inside, so it's something to be aware of. Despite the indoor heat, the food and service made the experience worthwhile. We recommend this restaurant for a fantastic meal in Pistoia.

22/09/2025: Excellent dinner: fried mushrooms and mouth-watering mushroom bruschetta. I tried tortelloni... yum! Highly recommended. Great prices. The only downside is that it's hard to find.

01/09/2025: My boyfriend and I stumbled upon it by chance, since we're not from the area. We immediately liked the atmosphere, it's very nice, and the food is delicious. We had the gyoza, which were fantastic, and the ramen too. It was a truly pleasant experience, and we'll definitely repeat it! They also have vegan and gluten-free options.

16/09/2025: Historic inn in Pistoia where you can try traditional dishes like the prisoner's stew, originally made with scraps of meat from nearby butchers.

09/09/2025: We returned to this inn eight years after our first trip to Tuscany, because the memory was so fond we had to repeat it. The typical Tuscan dishes are excellent, tasty and fresh, with generous portions and impeccable service. The place is charming, unique, and homely. I highly recommend it!

02/09/2025: We showed up without a reservation and they very kindly seated us in a room all to ourselves. No wait, everything was excellent, even for those who can't eat gluten! The food is Tuscan, of course, so meat, but there was also the option of fish or vegetarian options.

10/05/2025: The only ice cream shop in Pistoia that offers vegan variations, including ice cream and cakes. Excellent quality and friendly staff, super recommended!

16/09/2025: So we simply went with the one with the highest ratings. I had beef carpaccio with pistachios, which was sensationally good. You could find it in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Overall, the starters were all excellent. In the group's opinion, the main courses were above average but not Michelin-star worthy. Then again, the desserts were truly outstanding, and they were also truly fantastic.

13/09/2025: Amazing food and super friendly service! Highly recommend! We had a great great time! Thank you! The food was super tasty, unique and beautifully presented! Everything arrived pretty fast. We were a big family with two babies. The waitress was so baby-oriented and so friendly- asking which spoon to bring to my baby and which cup! (I wish I would have asked for her name) Also the baby changing table in the toilet is the best I've ever seen in a restaurant! :) Would love to come back in the future. Thank you!

15/09/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the farm-to-table experience "Le Merende del Tananei." The accommodation is beautifully and quietly located in the countryside. You can hear the stream and the birds in the background. David and Giorgia are incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. The rooms are super comfortable, the food, especially on the tour, is delicious, and the atmosphere is intimate. David quickly imparts important and interesting information about olive oil production and how to identify excellent olive oil. We highly recommend staying there!

14/09/2025: We had a truly wonderful stay with David and Georgia. We really enjoyed the olive oil tour they offered. The dinner that came with it was delicious; Georgia is a wonderful cook and incredibly sweet. David provided us with plenty of tips on what to do and was very helpful with questions. Both are very hospitable, which made our stay very enjoyable. The surroundings and garden are also beautiful, as is the exterior of the house. I can be brief about the hotel room. Very clean, a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. Absolutely fantastic. When we were leaving for home in the evening instead of the next morning, Georgia packed us a breakfast bag to take with us. We thought this was very kind and thoughtful. In short, go there! You certainly won't be disappointed!

03/10/2025: Enchanting place. Very friendly staff. Incredible wine. Fresh pasta made by them... Need I say more? Very attentive to children too (my children are 4 years and 8 months old, and the bathroom has a changing table). Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Luca made our stay really memorable! We ordered steak and fish! Fish was good but steak was best so far! Really nice service and great atmosphere!

05/09/2025: Everything was great! Excellent wine (Rosso di Montalcino Talenti), Quinto Quarto, a fantastic Florentine steak, and delicious desserts (I recommend the goat cheesecake with green tomato jam).
