24/06/2025: We tried three different types of mussels and they were all really good: very fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. The octopus was a very pleasant surprise – tender, fresh and perfectly prepared. The yogurt sauce gave it a light and balanced touch, making the dish refined but at the same time tasty. Accompanied by a good glass of white wine, it was a truly enjoyable dinner. The desserts also proved to be up to the rest of the meal: well presented, delicious and prepared with care. A round of applause also to the staff: kind, helpful and at the same time very professional. Attentive and friendly service, which really makes the difference. Congratulations!

01/05/2025: Il ristorante, situato nel cuore di Pistoia, è curato nei minimi dettagli. Il personale si distingue per la sua accoglienza e professionalità. Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di assaporare numerose pietanze, tra cui le cozze, che si sono rivelate particolarmente eccellenti. Oltre alla specialità delle cozze preparate in molteplici modi, il menù offre un’ampia selezione di piatti a base di pesce sempre di alta qualità e alcune opzioni dedicate agli amanti della carne. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la carta dei vini propone una vasta scelta proveniente da cantine rinomate. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante per qualsiasi occasione, sia pranzo che cena. Saremo lieti di tornarvi nuovamente.

24/07/2025: Questo è un posto STORICO. Peccato che, essendo perfettamente in linea con le attività in Pistoia soffre di una certa avversione al rinnovamento ed alla ricerca (in pieno stile pistoiese). Un chiosco che essendo inserito in un contesto storico (la piazzetta della Chiesa di S. Domenico) potrebbe cominciare a curare un poco l'immagine tipo sedie in ferro e legno invece che le solite sedie di plastica della sagra della porchetta, tavoli in tema anche colori uniti. Il tutto viene spesso sparso nel giardino poco curato della piazza, senza piante o arredi pubblici adeguati. il tutto rende il luogo greve e sciatto, con giovani che pigramente si grattano le mongolfiere nelle mutande con fare tipico pistoiese. Inoltre qualche barbone della zona incornicia perfettamente questo quadretto melenso e Boemienne. Che vi devo dire... potremmo applicarlo a molti altri ristoranti ed attività commerciali della città e ci sbaglieremmo di poco sul risultato complessivo. C'è purtroppo poca cultura del bello che viene fatta passare come amore per l'essenziale...A buon intenditore poche parole, chi vuol cambiare si dia da fare...

19/05/2025: A place to meet friends. Variety of restaurants and bars. The (serious) problem is the bad smell coming from the drains. Pistoia needs to look into this situation. Many streets with restaurants suffer from the same problem.

13/05/2025: It is a small ancient square in the heart of Pistoia. During the morning hours many gastronomic stalls. In the afternoon and evening hours a large offer of places used as pubs and restaurants with varied gastronomy. Varied attendance. From couples to groups of friends. Recommended for those who like to meet with people inclined to convivial life.

26/05/2025: Food they call "lavoro" (roadside food) is excellent. Everything is very well prepared and served by a family. I recommend it. I suggest the peposo dish… delicious meat cooked for hours.

10/04/2025: Super voor lunch! Je wordt vriendelijk en snel geholpen. Je krijgt goed Italiaans eten voor een hele goede prijs. Ik raad iedereen aan die in de buurt is hier de lunch te gebruiken.

17/08/2025: Recommended directly by locals. A magical place, with a breathtaking view of the entire valley, a very welcoming and refined atmosphere. Excellent service. Exquisite food, one of the best Florentine steaks I've ever eaten. Recommended for all tourists.

10/08/2025: Found via a Google search and chosen for its magnificent panoramic terrace, which is truly stunning in the evening. The fixed menu (€30 including water, wine, and coffee) covers everything from appetizers to dessert, with simple yet tasty dishes. Note that the location is located inside a hill accessible by car, but the parking lot is small; you'll have to make do along the path. If you're in the area and want to eat out of the ordinary, it's highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Sono venuta da Firenze per incontrare i miei parenti. Mi hanno portata in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare. Abbiamo fatto un mix di cose essendo in tanti. La cameriera carinissima ci ha consigliato di fare teglie di primi ( tortelli alla lucchese e trofie con scampi e curry ) a quest’ultimo non gli avrei dato una lira ma invece si sono rivelati BUONISSIMI! Come secondo abbiamo preso la carne molto buona, io ho voluto assaggiare il baccalà alla livornese ( un po’ salato ma penso il migliore che abbia mai mangiato fin’ora! ), contorni di frittura di pesce e patatine, la frittura molto buona e sopratutto non pesante. Da bere acqua e vino della casa, il bianco veramente buono! Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti infatti ci è avanzata un po’ di roba che ci hanno gentilmente incartato e l’abbiamo portata a casa. Consiglio di prenotare perché il posto è piccolo. Tutto meraviglioso ci ritornerò sicuramente!

26/06/2025: SUPER GOOD! We went two nights. The best pizza was the mascarpone with ham. The salmon pasta was also delicious. We asked him for his favorite pizza recommendations, and he treated us very well. They serve a small sorbet at the end of the meal (free), which is delicious. All the waiters and staff were super nice, especially the head waiter. We asked him about nearby towns to visit the next day, and he recommended Vinci. We really liked it and went to his granddaughter's restaurant. Delicious too. Highly recommended 🙌🏽

04/08/2025: Non ti aspetti un locale così bello e accogliente dietro un distributore di benzina, e invece è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Il caffè è ottimo, preso velocemente ma con un’accoglienza davvero calorosa. In più, il parcheggio comodissimo è un grande plus! Consigliatissimo per una sosta rigenerante. Tornerò sicuramente! ☕✨

04/08/2025: Un posto perfetto per un pranzo tranquillo e di qualità! Ci sono tornata più volte con una collega e ogni volta ci siamo trovate benissimo: il personale è sempre sorridente e gentile, l’ambiente è accogliente e il cibo è davvero ottimo. Ho provato l’Insalata Venere ed è stata una delizia: leggera ma saporita, perfetta per un pasto gustoso senza appesantirsi.

01/06/2025: Dinner on the terrace. The food is very good. The service was excellent, despite the fact that one of the waitresses seemed overwhelmed and didn't want to greet us. The only downside was the cheesecake, which was a bit too reworked for my taste! And it doesn't really resemble a cheesecake.

01/08/2025: I've known about this place for almost two years. And since then, I HAVE to go there at least once a week (?). The excellent cuisine, especially the fish, and the kindness, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff make it a temptation I can't resist. And the prices... absolutely reasonable!! Only one flaw: it's 40 km from where I live.

06/04/2025: The pizza is good, served in rectangular pans that are easy to cut into strips, the atmosphere is informal, the owners are kind and helpful. I ate on site but more often took away and I always had a good time. They have never made a mistake with my order and the pizza is always beautiful to look at and eat. In short, it is a place that I would recommend to anyone.
