21/04/2026: Some friends took me to this family-run restaurant in Pistoia. Mizio, a great wine connoisseur, recommends the perfect bottle for every dish. He reigns supreme in the dining room, assisted by a young, smiling and kind waitress. The ambiance is refined, the food is varied and flavorful, and the meat is exquisite. The bill is affordable, according to friends. I'll gladly return.

16/12/2025: Beautiful and well-kept place, we can eat inside and outside, beautiful terrace from which you can see the landscape, excellent place to eat Tuscan food, very good appetizers and very good first and second courses, typical meat and fish dishes, very kind and professional both the staff and the owner as soon as you arrive to order, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and satisfy your requests, clean restrooms, good prices, large parking lot, that's why I gave it 4 stars, I recommend trying the pizzas and the tagliolini with lobster, they are finger-licking good, and the Cinta Senese pork loin with fried patent and fried porcini mushrooms 😋😋😀

08/06/2026: We had dinner with friends for paella. The location was beautiful and welcoming. We ordered the classic paella and it was fantastic! It exceeded our expectations! Generous portions and excellent prices. It was a wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back!

05/08/2025: Excellent food. The service was courteous but, in my opinion, overly present. The outdoor setting is pleasant and comfortable. The apparent elegance of the service clashes with the chair covers inside, in front of the register: the stains on the seat backs make you forget the delicious food you've just eaten.

06/06/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance while strolling through Pistoia, waiting for the church of San Giovanni Fuoricivitas to reopen. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the schiacciate were amazing. Generous and delicious. Highly recommended.

19/03/2026: The place itself is nice. The pies are average, nothing special, but overall they're not bad. The portions are a bit small and the prices are a bit high.

18/05/2026: Very welcoming place, with high levels of courtesy and professionalism. The staff knows how to pamper customers. The Oste 1938 appetizer is delicious (a selection of cured meats, cheeses, and a few crostini), not to mention the ravioli with burrata, pesto, and cherry tomatoes. Highly recommended! Excellent value for money. The only flaw is the music is a bit too loud for a restaurant.

10/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, fast service, and friendly staff. We ate very well. The cacciucco was delicious, and the meat, the house specialty, was excellent. We spent €45 each for appetizers, a main course, a medium beer, and coffee. I wanted to save money by ordering the tasting menu.

05/05/2026: We're walking the Camino de San Jacopo, and today was a very rainy day...we were all soaked, with our raincoats and umbrellas...passing by the trattoria, we asked for something to eat. They welcomed us, had our wet raincoats and backpacks stored in their storeroom...and so, in addition to eating beautifully cooked food, we recharged before setting off again. Well done and honest!

07/04/2026: Excellent dinner, Luca makes you feel at ease. Excellent appetizers, really good first courses. The pizza was average, slightly burned, but a wonderful dinner in the end. I'll be back.

04/05/2026: Great food at a great price! We came for lunch. Ask for the menu of the day and you’ll eat very well. And what a beautiful setting, with geese swimming on the lake, fish swimming just under the surface, and a rushing river nearby. The service was quick and our server very friendly, patient and efficient.
