05/12/2025: Had an early breakfast; never been here before, great impression. Really good cream croissant, buttery and flaky. Cappuccino with plenty of foam. Beautiful, well-kept place with just the right amount of Christmas decorations. Service was perhaps short on smiles, but efficient and courteous. Excellent impressions.

07/09/2025: I can't give zero stars, terrible experience, there were eight of us who took five fried dishes for five people, others took cutlet and chips, stuffed mussels and two plates of spaghetti allo scoglio, fried food they brought a large plate that we had to share, when we divided the five plates there was nothing, go eat elsewhere, wine and beer never brought, but wine was on the bill, beer forgotten

08/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff. The appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and panzanella was very good and filling. The pizzas, however, weren't up to par: the mozzarella was very firm and the dough was a bit heavy for our taste. The burgers looked very good; so if you're undecided between pizza and burgers, go for the burgers. The spicy oil also seemed to have expired a year and a half ago. If the owners are reading this review, please change it.

The first courses were truly awful. The fish was excellent (obviously), but the spaghetti with clams didn't taste like clams. They took them from the kettle, added parsley, and added 8 clams (delicious). A waste of seafood... €18...
Spicy tagliolini: not spicy; eggplant, pecorino, and shrimp, tasteless... €17
2 appetizers, 2 first courses, two coffees: €100...

I love this place
15/04/2026: Dinner during the week at this restaurant, a Bellano institution for decades.
It was taken over a year ago by a new manager who kept the waitress who worked for the previous owners.
The service is excellent. Elena is very helpful and attentive.
The menu offers virtually the same dishes, and they're better than before.
The pizzas are fantastic compared to other local options.
The restaurant has a lovely decor, perfect for a simple and delicious meal.

07/04/2026: We returned after more than ten years, and it was worth it! A genuine restaurant without the frills of fake trattorias. Excellent traditional Pontremoli dishes. The owners were lovely, kind, and attentive. My lean ravioli with porcini mushroom sauce were spectacular, and my husband's testaroli with chopped herbs were delicious. The main courses, all featuring cod, are a must-try. Highly recommended! Pontremoli is worth a visit. It's a beautiful village, and a stop at this restaurant is a must.
05/04/2026: Trattoria del Giardino da Bacciottini is a retro restaurant tucked away in a narrow street in the center, spacious inside, and with professional staff.
The simple à la carte menu features typical local products and various main courses, including cod and delicious testaroli, all at reasonable prices.
