02/05/2026: We had dinner at Osteria Uscio & Bottega and had a wonderful time: excellent food and impeccable service in a picture-perfect location.

10/04/2026: Very nice place, I expected a good pizza, but instead... IT WAS PHENOMENAL. A very nice and helpful girl served me, I think her name was Iris (beautiful name!), and after explaining the menu and format of the pizzeria with a big smile, I opted for the tasting menu, which she noticed, explained, and served. Pizzas this good already exist, even if they're not around the corner, but I find that girl's kindness and preparation even harder to find. This place is a great find, even if it's a bit hidden. GREAT!

06/06/2026: We discovered Ristorante da Padellina by chance because we spent a night in the Strada area during our tour of the Chianti region. The place is very spartan, but that's precisely its beauty. The walls are adorned with various objects of very different genres and styles. I particularly enjoyed reading the "reviews" left by other customers who had dined here before us. The Florentine steak is cooked to perfection, and to accompany it, their roast potatoes in a ghiotta pan are a must. The potatoes are cooked in the oven underneath the roasts, then seasoned with all the sauce released by the meat.

22/05/2026: We went to Antica Macelleria Cecchini in 2022 and honestly it was more like a huge family party than just dinner. Started out amazing with staff handing out glasses of Chianti right on the street. Once inside it was absolute chaos in the best possible way. Long tables, sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers who become friends by the end of the night. It was loud, busy and there was an endless amount of incredible meat coming out. Had such a blast. If you like your meat, you have to go here. One of the highlights of our Tuscany trip.

20/05/2026: For the second time, I visited Dario Cecchini's beautiful "butcher shop," he's a celebrity in his own right!

08/06/2026: I had the Chianti lunch I'd already tried the previous year. The food was still good; the price had increased by €10 (from €40 to €50), but not the portions... especially the glasses of wine, which were too small; basically, a couple of small sips.

04/06/2026: We had the 5-course menu with wine tasting. It was delicious, the wine tasting was highly recommended, and you can tell a lot of heart went into everything. Absolutely recommended!

24/05/2026: We had a disappointing wine tasting. When I booked the wine tasting my options were a regular tasting which said it took place in the tasting room beneath the castle. Or a valley view wine tasting that was more expensive and didn’t specifically state the location. We wanted the view so booked this tasting. When we arrived, a rain storm had just passed and we were seated inside at the tasting room which I can understand due to the weather. However, we were seated in the back of the tasting room and the space had little to no atmosphere. What upset me the most was that as we left, there were people sitting outside in the terrace enjoying their regular wine tasting. As it turns out, there was no need to book the more expensive tasting to enjoy the view We could have saved 18 euros per person as there was no need to book the more expensive tasting to enjoy the view. I had also assumed that our tasting would be up at the castle as the description did not mention that it was not. Furthermore, upon emailing the company it took them over a week to respond to my I jury about the situation. Just be aware if you book here that your tasting will not be at the castle. And, unless you want the food, there is no reason to spend the money in the valley view tasting. Very misleading.

25/03/2026: Wonderful tour and tasting. We had the canapes with out tasting and it was generous enough to count as lunch m. Beautiful experience.

17/05/2026: Anyone passing through Greve should visit this place, even without buying or eating anything. It's a historic spot with wonderful local delicacies. Endless and delicious hams, salamis, cheeses, and wines. They also have a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while admiring the square.

04/05/2026: A very, very pleasant experience. The guided tour of the winery was made very interesting thanks to Giulia's passion and friendliness. This was followed by tastings of three truly excellent wines in an elegant and refined setting.

19/04/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting Vitique for a tasting, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely professional and welcoming, explaining every detail with a clarity that greatly enriched the tasting. The wines were exceptional, offering a sensory journey of the highest quality. It was a wonderful experience, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail, perfect for anyone who wants to discover the excellent wines of the area. Highly recommended!
