10/06/2026: Visited the restaurant for dinner, beautiful location with a lovely, peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The food was 10/10, fresh, authentic and full of rich flavour. Service was also wonderful, our waiter was helpful and welcoming, and food timing was perfect. All is all very pleasant experience.

04/06/2026: The hotel is great for those looking for absolute relax far from cities or towns. The room was spacious and clean, the common areas are great with a countryside feeling. The staff was welcoming and nice with our 3 months old kid and our dog. The restaurant is excellent, very good food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. If I had to mention something to improve would be the following: It would be nice to have free water available as there are no places to buy it nearby. A coffee/bar onsite would be good during the day for the same reason, if you want to have something you need to go by car. When you are in the pool and craving a drink it would be great to have the possibility to have it there. On Sundays the restaurant is closed as they typically have private events. It is quite unfortunate for the guests because of the noise and having to pick up the car and travel at least 10 minutes to have lunch or dinner.

15/05/2026: For work and when I'm short on time, I sometimes need to stop for a quick sandwich, but I won't be returning. The kebab was greenish, the wait for a sandwich was almost 20 minutes, and I was the only customer. The place had a strange, dirty smell, and the tables and chairs were all sticky. Hygiene was a dream!

10/05/2026: The staff is extremely polite. The kebab is the best in all of Umbria. The quality of the products is exceptional.

03/01/2026: Excellent ingredients. Congratulations on the burgers, they're spectacular.... But the rest of the menu is also worth trying. The grilled meat is special.

08/04/2026: Well... We didn't like it. Very mediocre. The food wasn't anything special, and we waited forever to order. We weren't even given a menu once we were seated. And then there's the thing about them not keeping separate bills... I live abroad, and it's the norm to keep separate bills, and thank God, it's been here for a few decades now, too. I don't understand why we always have to stay in the Middle Ages. We definitely won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it.

24/06/2026: Passeggiando per via Nazionale in pieno centro storico a Cortona province of Arezzo, with my moglie here closed in this wine bar and coffee shop in one of the various tavoli interni and this sound also all'aperto with view along the via. Abbiamo preso due ottimi caffè squisiti e deliziosi e si puô far colazione con vasta celta di dolci e salati. So if you can make a complete pasto with rich wine at the same time as the meal, take a bicchiere of wine or a snack or the other side will be a huge selection of aperitifs. A difference in other reviews is critical on the other side of the personal, we find out that the personal is very attentive, competent, cordial and available and the service is always attentive, fast and well-preserved!!! Wir genossen zwei exellente, köstliche Köstliche Koffes, und zum Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an süßen und herzhaften Leckereien. 22/12/2025: The service was terrible from the moment we arrived. At first, it felt like the staff were deliberately ignoring us. After a long wait, a bag of stale bread was literally dropped in the middle of the table—no olive oil, no plates, nothing. We had to ask for basic accompaniments, and even that required another long wait just to get someone’s attention. We already knew what we wanted to order. Yes, the prices were high, but the restaurant looked beautiful, so we expected the quality and service to justify it. Unfortunately, it did not. We ordered a bistecca chianina and lamb chops. Both dishes were extremely disappointing. The bistecca, priced at €70 per kilo, was shockingly bad, after trying it you would expect the €70 was for the whole cow. One side was burnt, the cut was of very poor quality, and the meat was unbelievably tough. It was, without exaggeration, the worst piece of meat I have ever eaten. My family and I had to spit it out and ended up leaving about 90% of it untouched. The lamb chops were also burnt on one side, and all we could taste was char. We forced ourselves to eat them only because we were hungry. We informed the waitress about the issue, and she seemed to understand. However, when the bill arrived, we were shocked to see the full €70 bistecca charged. When we explained that it wasn’t fair to charge us for a dish we barely ate due to its quality, her response was: “If you wanted a free meal, you should have said so.” That comment was incredibly unprofessional. I wasn’t looking for a free meal—I expected food that was at least edible. This was, without a doubt, the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The only positive thing I can say is that the place itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, everything else fell far short.

09/12/2025: High-quality, well-cooked meat! Delicious side dishes: the Tuscan tondini, grilled potatoes, and chicory with fava bean puree! Polite and competent service. An excellent glass of Sangiovese! The owner is enlightened and open to new ideas, yet deeply rooted in the true traditions of the area, those of value and values! A food and wine experience in the splendid setting of Cortona, an Etruscan city of art and artists, with shops that graciously offer typical local products, from trusted Florentines to the scents of the Tuscan countryside! A wonderful memory!

30/05/2026: During my vacation in Cortona, I have no doubts about where to stop for an aperitivo, a glass of wine, or a good charcuterie board: Caciobrillo is a guarantee. Popular with locals, it's very traditional and not touristy. Well done, stay that way.

25/03/2026: Don't book this hotel. The people are unhelpful and greedy.I am furious. I did make a mistake that the booking calendar jumped forward one month so I booked Sunday 15th March when I intended to book Sunday 15th February. I contacted them as soon as they opened. But they would not simply change the date of the booking. I spent hours with my booking agent, who just kept saying that the hotel was sticking to the terms and conditions that my booking could not be changed.

29/06/2026: The grumpiest service I've ever experienced. Highly recommended if you long to feel humble for a very reasonable fee. The pasta was perfect, the wine was generously poured, and the salad was huge and delicious. Would absolutely come to be furiously glared at again.

05/06/2026: The WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. Had to wait an hour and 10 minutes for pizza I wouldn’t feed to my dogs. Absolute terror. My sister and I ordered 2 aperol spritzes and they were completely flat. We asked about our food two times and the waitress would've sooner dropped dead than address our timing or ask us for more drinks. Once the pizza came, we had one bite and were concerned for our safety. DISGUSTING. After hours and multiple drinks, the disturbed taste remained, tainting our mouths. It tasted like flour, didn’t look like pizza, and made me feel like I was in a food-rationed-state, not Italy. We payed and left so quickly I didn’t think to take a picture of our dumpster pizza. Side note: I went to the bathroom and it smelled like a chain smoking grandma had been lying dead on the floor for a year. Go here if you hate yourself and everyone you bring, otherwise stay at least 1000 feet away for your own safety.
