Great cappuccino. Open early Sunday.

The new owners have changed the atmosphere. They're friendly, but they have less personal contact with customers. Plus, they can't handle large crowds, even though the tourist season hasn't started yet! If you don't like loud rock music, this isn't the place for you. This genre has nothing to do with the place! It's a real shame. This place has great potential, but they absolutely need to tap into it!

I had the pleasure of discovering this historic establishment during a visit to Cortona; the person I was with had lived in the historic center for many years and took me right into the bar (in fact, it was like being at home; he knew everyone 😅) for breakfast. The atmosphere was familiar and sociable, but very understated and elegant; the coffee was excellent, as was the brioche! The setting speaks for itself, as it is located "at the foot" of the imposing, historic Palazzo del Capitano. RECOMMENDED!!! ☕️ 🥐 🏰

This hostel is located in a beautiful and well-renovated historic building. It offers various room types for individuals or groups. I stayed one night as a couple and had a room with an external bathroom, but it was completely private.

This was a great place for breakfast, we visited several days during our stay. The staff was helpful and it felt like visit a local coffee shop where they knew your order as any regular.
