Nice place, nothing to say, refined and very inviting location. Shame about the service, superficial, feeling of having done a disservice by entering and consuming. Shame, the location is definitely worth it.

While visiting Cortona by chance, we stopped here for lunch. We weren't expecting such delicious dishes of truffle pici and pistachio cream tagliatelle, especially at such a reasonable price. The food was excellent, and the wait was minimal. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's definitely worth a lunch break.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere: among period paintings, vintage furnishings, and jazz music in the background, you'll be enchanted and transported to a bygone era. Friendly staff. Delicious and plentiful dishes (the pici alla norcina are out of this world). More than fair prices. Highly recommended.

Excellent place; we stumbled upon it while strolling through the streets of Cortona in the late afternoon. We ordered two typical first courses made with local products (very generous portions), mineral water, house wine, coffee, and a digestif. Upon arrival, they offered us an aperitif of warm pizzas, followed by dessert (zeppole di San Giuseppe). Paid €40.00 for two. Cute place, full of international students.

Trattoria restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Generous and authentic dishes. We've been back twice. The music and atmosphere are relaxing. Highly recommended.

I happened to pass by here while strolling through beautiful Cortona. This historic restaurant is located right in the center. We ordered three first courses, a pizza, a bottle of beer, a bottle of water, and two coffees. The pasta dishes were truly generous, something I don't think you'll find anywhere else in the area. They offered us a mini aperitivo with canapés and nachos, followed by a glass of Moscato wine with assorted pastries. The four of us spent just over €50. The price was truly reasonable. The service was helpful and fast. If you're passing by, stop by; I'm sure you won't go hungry.

This bar, which has several tables inside and outside, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The walls are adorned with photos of VIPs who have passed through this bar over the years. The barista was welcoming, kind, courteous, and competent, with attentive, fast service and good prices. 07/01/2026: It's located in the newer part of town; if it weren't for the eye-catching sign, it wouldn't look like a restaurant. The entrance is at the back, offering a panoramic view in the summer. There's public parking on the avenue. The restaurant isn't large, seating 30-40 people at most. We went for lunch, and there were only two people in addition to our group. The service was quick, perhaps a little too pushy, and the waitress was present, coming to the table every two minutes. Dishes are cooked by a lady with a visible kitchen (the view is lovely). Portions are adequate, with reasonable prices. The tagliatelle, for my taste and experience, are larger than wide tagliolini, but the sauces and ragù are good. The crostini and main courses are pleasant, without anything special. Wine is available both in bulk and in bottles. The selection and variety of well-made desserts are good. The setting is adequate for the location, with a convenient bathroom and outdoor seating area. Dining outside under the pergola must be pleasant in the summer. They accept electronic payments.
