15/10/2025: This place is located on a side street off the main road. A friend recommended it to us, and I have to say it was worth it. I tried the excellent couscous with fish soup, and my friends had the busiate with Trapanese pesto, the authentic Norma style, and the octopus ragù: generous portions and even more generous sauces. They also had caponata, which I didn't particularly enjoy, but the others did. The service was impeccable. It's a small trattoria, but we ate outside. Excellent value. Recommended!

18/01/2026: The only positive note was the pasta, for the rest especially the starters were products prepared days before and when reheated they were in fact very dry, the fish main courses were flavourless

15/01/2026: Very good pasta and Aperol. The service was friendly and cheerful. The busuaste pasta with red shrimp was delicious. The fried small calamari was delicious. We got a table despite not having a reservation. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: We came to Tenute Plaia with modest expectations, after a few disappointing meals elsewhere. What we found instead was a place of quiet balance, the view and stillness alone felt restorative. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the hills and the sea. The air was calm, the setting serene, the kind of silence that feels alive rather than empty. From the first greeting, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease. The food was exceptional: authentic Sicilian cooking with depth and honesty. Every dish carried a sense of place, clear flavors, thoughtful execution, nothing showy. We were the only guests that evening (perhaps because we came early around 7 PM), but the solitude made the experience even more memorable. In essence, Tenute Plaia doesn’t aim to impress, it simply delivers truth through simplicity. A place where food, landscape, and calm coexist naturally.

20/06/2025: Typical Sicilian cuisine with a touch of flavor and originality. The chef creates simple dishes for refined palates. Everything is excellent, using top-quality ingredients, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff is delightful, and I highly recommend it.

07/11/2025: Honestly, we wouldn't have gone in, but after a local's recommendation, we ate the best cannoli of the holiday. The atmosphere was a bit shabby, and the service was a bit cold. Prices were sky-high.

14/01/2026: Excellent food! They have a wide variety of dishes, but we kept coming back for their fresh pasta, especially with vongole or frutti di mare. Everything is fresh and so tasty, by far my favorite restaurant in Trapani. The service is perfect, and of course they offer amaretto after your meal! If you’re in Trapani, this place is a must-visit!

21/12/2025: We had lunch at the Antichi Sapori restaurant: a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent seafood dishes and superb couscous. We'll definitely be back.

03/01/2026: We were at this restaurant all last week, including New Year's Eve. Marianna and Pino welcome you like family. The food is exceptional and plentiful, and the service is excellent. Our only regret is that we couldn't try Pino's pizza, but on our last night he made us a Pantelleria pasta dish, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you for everything, and long live Pantelleria and trekking!

13/01/2026: Hands down, the best gelato in town. No endless display of useless flavors, but just the right number of options. A hallmark of a quality gelato shop that focuses on freshness and carefully selected ingredients: the flavors are clean and intense. The cinnamon flavor deserves special mention: I've tried it elsewhere, but here it's simply unmatched in texture and flavor. While elsewhere it's often cloying, here the balance is perfect.

25/01/2026: Last night we dined at Bottega del Carmine and it was a treat for the palate and the soul. The dishes were expertly prepared and the staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The final surprise was the bill, which offered excellent value for money.

19/01/2026: Beautiful evening! We felt pampered, the chef was able to convey all his professionalism and immediately put us at ease, offering advice on our choice of dishes! The octopus melted in our mouths...and that's not at all a given. The starters were delicious, as were the desserts! Congratulations...I absolutely recommend! The service was also very discreet but attentive, fantastic!

31/12/2025: If you're looking for a place to eat excellent meat in Trapani, with a local touch and welcoming staff, Campo Norcineria is a highly regarded choice. In my opinion, it's the best meat restaurant in the city, especially for its authenticity, quality ingredients, and family atmosphere. This place's fame is also linked to the friendliness of the owner, Ciccio, who welcomes guests with warmth and a family-like approach.
