18/04/2026: You have to love this place. It is busy, cramped, and there is no personal service. The staff is focused solely on providing you with food and drinks; any service or warmth is lacking, and they are eager to move on to the next table. This creates a commercial feeling rather than the necessary love for good Sicilian food. The food was also prepared too quickly; what was supposed to be grilled was still half raw. Bread and sesame crackers that weren't finished were put into new baskets for the next guests. Glasses, cutlery, and the tables were not clean. Our apartment had this location on a list of recommendations, and there were mostly tourists there. But where the recommendation comes from, I have no idea. There are certainly better restaurants in Trapani.

07/01/2026: The menu offers a limited variety, the dining room is unstaffed, and the first courses are slightly salty. While I doubt I'd return, the quality of the products offered is undoubtedly appreciable.

13/11/2025: A delicious dinner with the freshest fish. We tried the tasting menu with raw and cooked appetizers. Each one was better than the last. The pasta with scampi was incredibly delicious. Everything was excellent.

28/04/2026: Absolutely unforgettable stay! Duca di Castelmonte is a true gem that perfectly blends history, charm, and comfort. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by beautiful gardens and rich with authentic Sicilian character. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations or requests. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh, local ingredients and delicious homemade specialties.

13/12/2025: Breakfast was good for the quality of the products, but nothing to complain about the food or the ambiance. I would, however, like to point out a problem with price transparency: I was given a price at the counter, but at the cashier the total was higher, without any clear explanation of the difference. Furthermore, when paying by card, the amount was higher than initially indicated. It would be fair to inform the customer of any surcharges or additional costs in advance. I recommend greater clarity, especially regarding prices and payment methods.

30/04/2026: Amazing dinner. We had the fish couscous for two, the restaurant’s signature dish, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had so far in Sicily. The chef really knows his craft, and the owner serves the food with genuine love and pride. Absolutely worth ordering.

A charismatic place, a bar opened by three friends, with great music, excellent cocktails and aperitivo (fresh Sicilian and Italian specialties). The service is friendly, cheerful, and attentive, with a really good vibe. Great location right in the city center. I highly recommend it with all twenty fingers if you’re looking for an authentic spot with a great selection of cocktails, beers, and other drinks. Peteonela

24/11/2025: A very pleasant stay, thanks also to Marilù 🌟 I spent a few nights at this hotel and was truly satisfied. The location is excellent: easily accessible and well-connected to the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with those thoughtful details that make you feel immediately at ease. The service was attentive and courteous: the staff responded efficiently to every request, demonstrating genuine helpfulness. The breakfast was rich and varied, with fresh and beautifully presented products. The dinners were also delicious, an added bonus that completes a day of travel or work. But what makes this stay truly unique is Marilù: a charming woman, full of life, with a rich and profound history. Her presence, her hospitality, and her personal taste are evident everywhere: in the furnishings, in the paintings, in the prints, in that unique charm that gives the house a soul. Beyond the quality of the food and the beauty of the place - and in Sicily there is always plenty of that - it is precisely this that makes the experience special and memorable.

20/11/2025: We were welcomed like family; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool is huge! We even went swimming in November! The restaurant is excellent. Marylou is very attentive to the ambiance. The music is great, which makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. The food is high quality and very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And when the restaurant is closed, she suggests we go to Ittico, which was also delicious 😋

16/04/2026: Unfortunately, we were turned away rudely at 7:00 PM with the comment that the kitchen didn't open until 7:30 PM, even though I had a reservation confirmed via WhatsApp for 7:00 PM, and the entrance clearly stated opening time as 6:30 PM. It wasn't even possible to wait there with a drink. One of the waiters was unworthy of a restaurant of this caliber, being unfriendly, if not downright rude; however, another was very friendly. The food was okay, but nothing special. All in all, a mixed experience. The price/performance ratio is rather questionable.

07/04/2026: Was here last year and the steak was so good it was the first restaurant we went to when we got back to Trapani. The meat is unreal here. I found the prices incredibly correct for the quality!

30/10/2025: Excellent experience. I came about a week ago, a real discovery! The fish was incredibly fresh and tasty, every dish, from the appetizer to the grilled meat, was delicious. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel at ease. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, except that it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Excellent value and a place we'll definitely return to.

28/10/2025: The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything especially impressive, for the price of 48€ for the main dish for two people. I've given the waiter 50€ and never got my change back - it wasn't meant to be a tip since it's already factored in the price. The person serving us understood our native language but pretended otherwise, communication was pretty difficult overall. There are no printed menus, just a QR code on the tables. The view from the restaurant is pretty, but the surroundings are trash-filled streets that do not look good at all. In summary, a decent meal that was quite overpriced. We only decided to eat there as this place was opened during siesta, we were the only customers there.

28/04/2026: We had pizza and bruschetta. Everything was excellent, with quality ingredients. The only downside was only one beer on tap, and that was German; there are much better Sicilian beers. PS: They even took our two dogs with them.

03/05/2026: We came with no reservation!It was almost full, but the stuff gave us a table for 40 min untill next reservation! That was good enough for us!Pizza was very good, and my partner meal also very good!
