10/05/2026: We had two delicious meals here during our holiday. The pizza dough is made with sourdough, which is very tasty. On a second occasion, we had a platter of mixed starters followed by couscous. It was a bit too much, but everything was delicious! The (house) wine is lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the price is very good. You can make a reservation by sending a WhatsApp message, and English is also spoken. The food here is cooked with love!

05/05/2026: If you want a simple and delicious Trapani-style pizza, go to Stéphy's. The dough is airy and easy to digest, the mozzarella is excellent, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. Whether you order a small or large, the price is reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

But relegated to a room that seems to be used for storage, everything is piled up there, a waitress shamelessly pushes you to order without any friendliness, and plastic cups are used.
Everything is done to bring the chef's performance down to the bottom of the scale.
Dinner is about food and atmosphere.
For the food, 20/20; for the atmosphere, 5/20.

25/05/2026: If you're on a trip to Gibellina or Burri's Grande Cretto, I recommend this restaurant in Santa Ninfa for lunch on your way back. Delicious, spotlessly clean, and perfect. All the first courses are worth trying, but trust me, ask the wait staff; they'll be able to give you great recommendations. Being a family-run restaurant, it's really the family members who will guide you! They immediately brought me a fantastic seared primo sale! Then I had the busiate with pork stew, which was also recommended... truly amazing!

I recommend absolutely avoiding the pseudo-manager (I think his name is Cristian), a completely inappropriate guy for the position he holds. He acts like a good friend, a nice guy, and the one who gives you tips. But when I was handed an overcooked and cold beef steak, he responded to my legitimate complaints (I believe they were legitimate) with an annoyed and superficial expression. When he couldn't justify the cooking, he turned around and left. When another waiter came to apologize, he was abruptly removed by the same one. Conclusion: go ahead and eat, but avoid the good friend.

11/06/2026: You can definitely find everything here, and the fact that you can eat outside in the shade is priceless. However, I had a portion of pasta that was so-so, and a really poor arancini soaked in oil that stayed in my stomach all day. What a shame!

06/06/2026: As a Pugliese, my compliments to the chef and all the staff at La Taveretta. We ate very well at lunch, and they accommodated our every request. Prices were normal, indeed exceptional. The waiter was friendly and polite. If we were to come to Trapani again, we would definitely return to try the pizza, which looked delicious.

02/06/2026: On our way back from climbing, we stopped here and weren't disappointed! The pizza and antipasti were delicious, and the service was outstanding. We were served right away. The drinks arrived promptly, and the food came about 20-25 minutes later. When the food arrived, we were asked if everything was alright, and we were able to order everything in English. If we're ever back on the island, we'll definitely come back. The cover charge was €2 per person, just so you know.

We were given a gift certificate for lunch for two. We booked and were told the lunch included appetizers, two first courses, a second course, dessert, fruit, water, and wine. It's for two people, of course. It's roughly €70. We went with two friends. We ordered three appetizers, three first courses, two second courses, an extra 1/2 liter of wine, and no dessert or fruit... moral of the story: €84.00 more than the €70 gift they gave us. What do you call that? I think it's robbery... unless they thought, with the €70, they could give us pasta with sauce and a piece of sausage! And then they complain if they only work with tourists? Thank God! Never again!
