19/12/2025: It's always a pleasure to review places that put the raw ingredients at the center of everything, and stopping at Dolce Vista was a remarkable gastronomic experience, despite a few minor acoustic issues. The location immediately strikes a good picture, very well-kept and pleasant, but unfortunately it suffers from an extreme cacophony that makes conversation difficult when crowded. It's a shame, because the welcome is truly worth it: the young owner is a gracious and attentive figure, capable of gracious hospitality that makes the guest feel truly at the center of the experience, supported by an excellent wine cellar. We opted for the full tasting menu, and let me say right away, you eat "too much" here. Don't get me wrong, we're not in a food factory: every dish is of such quality that you can't leave even a single piece on your plate, despite the portions being decidedly generous. We were already full after the appetizers, but everything was so good that stopping would have been a crime. Their cured meats are magnificent, as are the battuta di carne and caponata, but it's the marinated artichokes that are truly sublime. The pasta is excellent, and I applaud the honesty of the staff, who suggested we order just two portions for three, allowing us to enjoy the pinnacle of flavor: the meats. The comparison between the Frisona beef tagliata and the local Modicana was a triumph of flavor and technique. To finish, in addition to the dessert on the menu, we were kindly offered a creative dessert with a biscuit base and cream, both honey-based. The flavor is delightful, but if I may offer a technical tip as a customer devoted to quality, I would reduce the height of the biscuit base: currently, it's too high and tends to squash the cream, which should be the star of the show. A small touch to make an already excellent meal memorable. In short, a highly recommended place for those seeking substance, excellence, and service that truly understands hospitality.

03/05/2026: A place with meticulous attention to detail; as soon as you step inside, you feel like you've been transported to another world, far from the city. We went for lunch, which was a bit pricey considering it was advertised as a "business lunch" spot. I had booked the day before, informing us we'd arrive at 3 pm. They accepted the reservation, telling me that some dishes wouldn't be available given the hour. The reality is that the kitchen had already closed, and we could only order cold salads. I would have preferred to have been informed the day before so I could have made other decisions. The €70 bill for three seafood cold cuts, a tabbouleh with pickled shrimp, two large salads (generous but with the same seafood cold cuts as the supermarket-style appetizer), and a bottle of wine is excessive for a seaside Sicilian spot.

30/03/2026: There's really not much to say: one of the best pizzerias in the area. The pizza is delicious and so inviting that you'll want to try them all. Light and easily digestible, without compromising on flavor. And it doesn't end there: the desserts are also truly worth it, with a wide and varied selection unlike anything you've seen before. A comprehensive menu that satisfies every palate. Kudos to the entire staff: the quality is evident in every detail.

28/01/2026: A guarantee!!! I've been frequenting this pastry shop for 10 years now, and despite the passage of time, the quality has never wavered. As a true Sicilian, this pastry shop feels right at home, both in terms of quality and quantity (the desserts are truly rich)! For me, the custard is simply heavenly, velvety, and with that authentic, old-fashioned flavor. But the real masterpiece is the lobster tails: crunchy, fragrant, and stuffed to perfection. If you want to impress someone or simply treat yourself, come here. You can't go wrong! P.S. I always try to introduce them to as many people as possible, because it's worth it ❤️

16/03/2026: We went for dinner in a very elegant setting in the center of Mazara. The food was incredibly fresh, top-quality, and the service was very friendly. The prices were quite high, but that's understandable considering the quality of the products. Highly recommended, especially the mandarin sorbet and the truly unique and hard-to-find Tunisian pastries.

22/03/2026: The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. The only downside was the space. We booked a table for two on the weekend, while there were events going on. We were seated at a tiny table, squeezed in with two other couples, each with a table to the left and right. I even struggled to get a seat. They might as well have a single table. ;-)

27/03/2026: This historic ice cream shop has always been a go-to for locals. The 1980s are remembered for its legendary caldofreddi (cold-cold ice creams), which we used to serve on warm evenings in the piazza. The ice creams are a delight, as are the ice cream cakes. A must-see for anyone looking to delight their taste buds!

Giovanni will be able to advise and guide you through any of your requests. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experience or event immersed in nature, without sacrificing quality.

02/05/2026: The lady was lovely and the food was amazing. For only 2 euros it was massive and delicious. Would 100% recommend.

17/04/2026: We went here to have a good meal. And we certainly succeeded! From the fresh fish to the pasta. One of the best places to go and enjoy yourself with good food and a glass of wine.

14/04/2026: Great place. We had maximum attention from the staff. They played world famous Italian hits for us, which we danced to while we ate. English is not spoken here, so it's a great opportunity to try out Italian. They give you a jug of house wine, and it's really good.
