17/10/2025: The quality of the fish is excellent, and the fixed menu is based on the catch of the day: five courses with water, wine, coffee, and a digestif, plus Sicilian cannoli for dessert. It's important to note that there are no first courses and the only side is a mixed salad with oranges. The fish is grilled or fried. A slightly different but enjoyable experience, and the €30 price is fair for what you get.

10/10/2025: First place we ate when we first arrived in Sicily...what can I say? The welcome was worthy of our expectations, the food was truly high-quality, every dish absolutely delicious. The staff were professional and friendly (and they even offered to help us with a small issue we encountered upon our arrival). Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Made a reservation 2 months in advanced and when I arrived at the restaurant they were closed. No communication from the restaurant to say they were closed. Not the way I hoped to celebrate a birthday.

05/10/2025: I finally had dinner here, and it was a wonderful surprise. The welcome and cuisine were top-notch. They recommended the right dishes and the right wine, and we felt pampered the entire time. The chef has created a cohesive and truly professional team, not to mention the choice of dishes on the menu, which demonstrated research, attention to detail, and a keen eye for pairings. The quality of the raw fish, the tagliolini with squid ink, the main courses, and the desserts truly won us over. It goes without saying that we'll be back very soon!

21/09/2025: I've been to this fantastic pastry shop twice, both on arrival and departure from the airport. Sublime arancini at a fair price (€1.80). I tried the artichokes, ragù, speck, and pistachio. All delicious, crunchy, and beautifully filled. The Genovese cream was an A+. Fast, friendly, and always with a smile.

09/09/2025: Nicasio is the best He's the only one in all of Trapani who knows how to make truly good arancini, there's no comparison.

20/09/2025: Where do I begin? Pure horror from top to bottom. (We haven't even gotten our food yet.) Two full moons had already passed before we finally got a menu. The slick-faced waiter gave us a reproachful look when we didn't want to order ANY wine. When we finally got a menu and were shocked to discover that there were no meat-free dishes, I decided, with a heavy conscience, to order two side dishes (again, with a reproachful look from the waiter). I've been waiting for my two side dishes for 45 minutes now 🤘 The rest is up in the air. PS: The food arrived after we'd already made our way to the restroom a few times, which was nicer than the ambiance in the entire restaurant. The side dish simply arrived after the main course, or rather, one of the side dishes never actually made its way out of the kitchen!! The burger was okay. My plea to everyone: if your stomachs are already rumbling and you have a hungry lady with you, I would advise against visiting this place. Otherwise, it's fine. But the city is beautiful, and there are plenty of other good restaurants 😉

01/10/2025: Incredible food in a wonderful setting. My partner and I went here 3 days in a row. We received a warm welcome each time and you can really feel the excitement and passion that the team have for this restaurant. The specials change daily according to what is caught fresh on the day - feels like home cooking at its best. We will be thinking about this food for a long time - molto buono!

I travel often and enjoy local food and drink, and here they satisfied my desire... 21/09/2025: Disappointment despite good reviews – beware! We recently visited a seafood restaurant in Marsala, drawn by the many positive reviews we'd read online. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. Once we arrived, we were surprised to notice that all the fish dishes on the menu had an asterisk, indicating frozen products. Considering that we're in a seaside town and that the restaurant bills itself as a "seafood" restaurant, we expected a completely different quality, perhaps with at least some fresh fish of the day. This detail hadn't been mentioned in any of the reviews we'd read, and it's only right that those looking for a true local seafood experience be aware of it. The service was courteous and the restaurant was nice, but the quality of the ingredients doesn't justify the rave reviews we'd read online. I advise readers to be wary of overly enthusiastic reviews and do their research before choosing, especially if you're looking for fresh seafood.

You can sit outside in well-kept and simple spaces, harmoniously integrated with the surrounding nature. A generous aperitif with local specialties. An experience not to be missed!

23/09/2025: Don't leave Favignana without enjoying a sunset aperitivo at this magical spot! A wide selection of food and drinks, typical local flavors and products, friendly service...and a truly fabulous setting! (No reservations required; just sit back and enjoy the view.)

16/10/2025: The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, clean, and the prices are excellent. The food has a wide selection, and all the dishes we ordered were truly delicious. If we were to visit Mazara again, I would definitely go here for lunch. The busiati are delicious 😋

10/10/2025: We went to the place at around 21:40 the restaurant was more then half empty and asked if we could sit and have a drink. The waitress said "this is restaurant" and walked off... So we went to NELE taste of Sicily which is also a restaurant with a lovely view. It seems Capuona Taverna di Sicilia is lacking friendly, welcoming staff. After few drinks we became peckish so we ordered some food at NELE.

27/09/2025: Some of the food was okay, some was very good. However, two out of four people felt a little "sick" after dinner. But that can happen. It also seemed as if the service was very discriminatory between locals and tourists. As Italians, you receive a warm welcome and advice, but as tourists we were treated more like an inconvenience. For the price I paid, I probably wouldn't go back.

16/10/2025: I don't think I've ever written a bad review. Four people in the restaurant, and the waiter was disinterested, curt, and unfriendly. It's a shame. The advertised traditional salad actually consists of tomatoes. Soggy Sicilian pasta with frozen shrimp. I can't recommend the restaurant in any way.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.
