11/04/2026: What a fun place! With over three dozen choices, one can find the toppings they like on their pies. Our server was fun, engaging and gave excellent service. She put up with my bad Italian. 😀 We had the vegetarian and the porcini pizzas. Both were excellent. I can eat a whole pizza, but most will be satisfied by sharing one for two people. In addition to local beers, wine is available by the glass.

01/12/2025: One of the most evocative locations on the island where you can watch a perfect sunset with excellent food and wine, all produced on site. This place is a true dream, and if I returned to Favignana, I would go there every night. Reservations recommended in the summer.

09/11/2025: This place would deserve 5 stars if it weren't for the way they handled reservations. We called to make a reservation, and the call center told us we didn't need one for the aperitif and that we should go there directly. Well, when we arrived, they asked us if we had made a reservation, and we explained what had happened... their response was that they were sorry, but that's the call center set up for the summer season, so it wasn't truthful. For this reason, we weren't able to sit at a table with a nice view... too bad, they should have written that somewhere, it's not correct! Otherwise, the platter and wine were good! And the location was stunning.

02/05/2026: It is advisable to eliminate the table right in front of the kitchen exit. It seems that the dialogue between the chefs and the head waiter needs to be managed and the waiters are forced to reconcile everything... when the receipts arrive they are of a high standard, don't be in a hurry.

15/03/2026: A traditional osteria with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very kind and attentive staff. Delicious food. I had the purple gnocchi with caciocavallo cheese and pistachios. They were superb. I highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: I don't recommend it, especially on Saturday nights. It's unacceptable that despite a 9:00 PM reservation for two, we were given a table at 9:45 PM. I understand the large crowds, but reservations shouldn't be accepted like this. Add to that another 45-minute wait for the pizzas to arrive. Despite this, the pizza was good and the waiters were very helpful.

The food was outstanding. My partner and I explored a variety of dishes across both dinners, and every plate reflected high-quality ingredients, well-balanced flavours, and thoughtful preparation. The menu beautifully showcases Pantelleria and Sicilian cuisine, offering a true sense of place. The wine selection deserves a special mention , a well-curated choice of local wines that complemented the food perfectly and elevated the overall experience. Over the years, Dammuso has quickly become our favourite restaurant in Pantelleria town — consistently delivering at a high standard. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavours, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience on the island.
