22/07/2025: Discovered thanks to the Gambero Rosso street food guide, we returned to this place twice during our short stay in Marsala. The food is excellent, the ingredients are top-quality, and Vito is a wonderful host. Highly recommended!

The fried fish is not at all greasy and made with fresh fish. The panelle are delicious The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Excellent English is spoken at reception. The room was spotlessly clean. The entire complex is extremely well-maintained and captivating in its beauty. The only thing that could be improved: The pool area lacks atmosphere – it seems a bit plain. Perhaps more lush vegetation would remedy this. It's hard to put into words, but this is complaining at the highest level. Restaurant: The only explanation for some of the negative reviews is that the operators have made some changes. Personally, I found both the service and the food impeccable. The value for money is more than fair – almost too cheap. If only all restaurants in Sicily were of this standard! Conclusion: Bravo! A hotel and restaurant that I can recommend to my friends with a clear conscience at any time.

09/07/2025: Five stars don't do justice to how unique and evocative this place is. After many years of vacationing in Sicily, Baglio Donna Franca has still managed to amaze me with its setting, hospitality, and professionalism. The restaurant deserves special praise: excellent cuisine, authentic local products, and a rich, high-quality menu at a very affordable price. I hope to return next year!

13/07/2025: Siamo state a cena da Liborio per la prima volta. Consiglio la degustazione di crudo, cotto, caldi con le fettuccine ai frutti di mare. Pesce spada ottimo come il vino bianco della casa. Ottime materie prime, cucina e servizio ottimi. Siamo state molto soddisfatte e ci ritorneremo di sicuro. Zuleika e Grazia.

09/08/2025: we were looking for something for breakfast and we came here. and then many times. cafe, pizza in the evening, often visited by locals. Excellent coffee, arancini, especially with peas are great, in the evening they make excellent pizza. then it is better to make a reservation, it is usually full. Really good. and the prices are great

23/07/2025: We have spent the last 4 summers in Scopello and were lucky to discover this restaurant a few years ago. The setting is lovely and it’s so peaceful. However unfortunately this year the area seems to have a huge problem with wasps and they were everywhere today. It started so peacefully and we were all commenting about how peaceful it was but shortly after we arrived and settled in to our aperitif my daughter was stung. I hope restaurants in the area will proactively try to sort out these wasp nests as they really ruin a meal. We would love to come back if the wasp problem is removed as the setting and food is lovely,

11/07/2025: Menù molto ricco e forse questo è l'errore. Non si possono avere prodotti sempre freschi e piatti curati con una proposta così ampia. Infatti le frittelle di pesce erano troppo cotte, praticamente con frittura marrone e dura, primo di pesce con troppa panna, calamaro gommoso.... Possono migliorare molto

08/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui più di una volta durante il nostro soggiorno a trapani ed ogni volta siamo rimasti estasiati dalla bontà dei piatti proposti. Complimenti allo chef e complimenti al titolare per l attenzione rivolta ai clienti.

07/08/2025: Un oasi nel mezzo della campagna siciliana,una struttura magnifica circondata da ulivi e piante di arancio,siamo stati ben accolti e abbiamo iniziato il pranzo con assaggi tipici siciliani dove spiccava l'olio di loro produzione e la bruschetta di pane nero con grani antichi,ma sempre ottima la caponata,le panelle,e le olive,ottime le busiate alla norma,piccola grigliatina di carne,il tutto innaffiato dal onnipresente nero d'avola,dolcetto finale molto buono,una frittella di ricotta, posto che richiederebbe altre visite se si torna in sicilia

21/07/2025: Camera e struttura molto curate e accoglienti e personale impeccabile. Tutto questo lascia presagire dell'ottimo cibo. In realtà così non è stato... Verdure pastellate dell'antipasto ancora fredde di congelatore così come il tortino di patate. Buona la pasta al sugo all'interno di una melanzana anche se a parere mio abbastanza banale. Improponibile il secondo Polpettone cotto da giorni e riscaldato per l'occasione e quindi molto asciutto accompagnato da un purè confezionato. Assurdo in Sicilia fare pagare le bibite a parte con un menù fisso. Anche a colazione quasi assenti prodotti di produzione propria (marmellate, biscotti, succhi) almeno nella sezione "dolce". Inoltre con nostra sorpresa ci è stato richiesta di pagare il parcheggio! Insomma un vero peccato !!!! Con tutti i prodotti siciliani a km 0 si sarebbe potuto fare con meno, molto di più

27/07/2025: Excellent pizza! Following on from a previous negative review by the lady at table 14, I'd say she didn't quite understand the place's philosophy: the pizza, the service, and the food are the best you can get. It's just a shame the draft beer dispenser isn't working this evening.

29/06/2025: To sit down we waited exactly 45 minutes with the reservation in the late evening, chips arrived half an hour after we ordered them, pizzas arrived exactly at 11:50 pm. Oily chips but good, very good pizzas, service, terrible service for how long we had to wait even though we had a reservation, oven quite small not able to deliver the pizza for the ground floor and the first floor to make the customer wait as little as possible for the pizzas.

Siamo stati da Grani Da Re e purtroppo non possiamo che confermare le impressioni negative: qualità dei prodotti scarsa rispetto ai prezzi, e cosa ancora più spiacevole, un’atteggiamento arrogante da parte della proprietaria. Invece di accogliere le osservazioni dei clienti con professionalità, risponde in modo scontroso e offensivo, senza alcun rispetto. Un comportamento inaccettabile in un’attività che lavora col pubblico. Non torneremo e sconsigliamo vivamente a chi cerca qualità e cortesia.

20/07/2025: Qualità decantata ma non confermata, cibo mediocre come lo è anche il servizio, bagno indecente e anche scarsa pulizia del locale. Caos di gente che passa vicino ai tavoli, litigi della proprietaria che disidice prenotazioni se si arriva con 10 minuti di ritardo o se mentre un commensale sta cercando parcheggio gli altri entrano a sedersi. Se non si entra tutti insieme, danno via il tavolo. Non seguono l’ordine di comanda, non vale la pena andarci. Già il posto è piccolo e angusto, figuriamoci con questo clima! Tutto fumo e niente arrosto, non lo consiglio per nulla.
