13/08/2024: We are practically at the entrance to the historic center, really 2 steps from Porta Garibaldi, therefore the perfect location and it would be a 5 star restaurant, if an excellent customer welcome, more than excellent service, and extreme availability towards needs and courtesy were enough, but unfortunately a restaurant is also and above all judged by its food and here, perhaps because expectations were high, it disappointed us a bit, as highlighted by others, something is missing, they have excellent material that they are unable to valorise, the cous cous which should be the main dish: mediocre, it lacks that note to make it special, the octopus ditto, and let's not go any further, you can certainly do much better, this is meant to be an incentive to improve, perhaps the fact of having to serve many customers takes away that extra attention to the dishes is essential, we have not highlighted any particular critical issues for some types of disabilities, finding parking in the area is difficult but not impossible, prices in line

06/08/2024: I recommend it wholeheartedly, the restaurant is run by the whole family, parents and children. Fish have no secrets from them. The food is amazing and worth the price. The combination of flavors and freshness makes this restaurant feel like heaven. They specialize in fish and seafood. If you are in Sicily, this is a point on the map you must visit

10/08/2024: The Locanda sul Mare in Marausa Lido is an authentic jewel set between the salt pans and windmills of Misiliscemi, Trapani. This restaurant, located on a wooden terrace directly overlooking the sea, offers a gastronomic experience that perfectly combines the beauty of the landscape with the quality of the food. We had the pleasure of tasting spaghetti with clams, a dish that fully reflects the freshness of the local fish, accompanied by a glass of Lavì, a sparkling white wine from the Colomba Bianca winery, which proved to be fresh and light, perfect for the summer atmosphere. The dessert, an almond parfait, was a delicious surprise, embellished with crunchy almonds and melted chocolate. Even though it was the last one available, it was shared with pleasure, closing the meal in a sublime way. Hospitality was another strong point of the experience. The waitress was exceptionally kind and sweet, while the owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered: you pay for what you eat, and every euro spent is justified by the excellent cuisine and the breathtaking view. With the sea of ​​Marausa and the Egadi islands on the horizon, La Locanda sul Mare is destined to become a point of reference for those looking for a place to enjoy excellent food in an enchanting natural setting. 30/08/2024: We had a relaxing dinner with friends last night, a total of 8 people, we paid 120 euros for 4 very small starters (120 euros) which my partner and I personally didn't even taste and the very small quantity... the first one, I have to be honest, was good ! So good that tonight we all had intestinal problems... NEVER AGAIN totally negative experience on all fronts

12/08/2024: If you are in Castellammare del Golfo you cannot miss trying the Tonnara, a very nice and refined place on the port. The owner has a fish shop so needless to say, the fish is super fresh. The dishes are really good, the fish is really good. We took a trio of tartare, one better than the other (the prawn one was my favourite) and a hot mix consisting of a swordfish roll, tuna meatballs and beccafino sardines. The linguine with clams and the busiana trizzana are really good and light. To finish, a really light and tasty mixed fried fish. The final Cassatella is a unique delicacy. Almost all Sicilian wine cellar, with very good staff who will advise you. All the staff super friendly and welcoming. Super recommended.

26/07/2024: Unfortunately I only tried a canolli and a sfogliatela here, but they were really amazing. It was around 10 p.m. when I suddenly felt like having a canolli, but couldn't eat a large one (of which there were plenty), but the lady went into the kitchen to quickly make me a small one. 🥹 What a service!! The other desserts all looked great too. I'm looking forward to the next time and then I won't just take something to-go.

23/07/2024: We were my son my husband and myself, I took a tuna pizza my son with salmon and my husband 4 seasons I don't like salmon pizza but but Mizzica made me change my mind the salmon pizza a delight like the others, their pasta is light, slightly puffy and crispy 🤩the starter of fried onion croquettes, delicious and hearty pannelli and the delicious fries, I'm Belgian so I know my stuff I plan to go back before leaving to taste their garnished breads 💯💯👍

01/09/2024: Comfortable, clean hotel with helpful and super welcoming staff! The food is excellent, the dishes are always different and the choice of land and sea satisfies everyone. I don't have photos, but we ate fish every day (swordfish, tuna, fresh pasta with seafood, rolls, couscous, sea bream, prawns.... all cooked in a traditional way and really excellent). The breakfast was in an adorable little garden overlooking the seafront. The hotel is located near the center so for a walk along the seafront or through the streets with shops and restaurants/bars, as well as the free municipal car park (even if there aren't many spaces). The sea in that area is not the best (or perhaps it wasn't the best in the week I was there) and it was preferable to move towards the "il Sabbione" lido area where the sea is decidedly clear and there is much less algae. present, about 15/20 minutes on foot or you can get there by car. Alternatively you can visit the nearby beaches or coves in the Macari area which are really worth it! Super recommended, a really nice experience for me, my husband and our little Giulia who loved everyone, girls and boys of the staff! Thank you

26/08/2024: I went to have dinner for mid-August in this place recommended by relatives, the place is located on Corso di Trapani, the style is purely Sicilian and elegant. The couscous is very tasty however with few fish, the prawn cocktail served with plenty of fresh fruit, the cost is average. I absolutely recommend it.

15/06/2024: I didn't have the opportunity or time to taste the pizza but the sandwiches were a spectacle. A 10 out of 10 for the food, the ingredients and the staff who satisfied us despite the indecent hour. A thousand thanks
