28/09/2025: That was nothing! Since there are unfortunately mostly beach bars and almost no restaurants in Marinella, we chose this restaurant, partly because of its 4.6 rating. However, we can't understand the rating! The ambiance seemed cold, there was a strange vibe, and the service was very odd. When we got our pasta, we were initially disappointed by the small quantities. 5 ravioli for €15? That was a joke 😂 The "pasta alla norma" wasn't the original, but just pasta with eggplant (+ potatoes??). The original cheese was missing. Unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with the taste. Therefore, we don't recommend it...

06/09/2025: Stopped by a lovely coffee shop while traveling through. The local staff were friendly and helpful, and they really made an effort to make themselves understood; they were super hospitable. Delicious coffee and sweet treats. We got to sample some delicious local cheese and oregano, so sweet 🥰

28/09/2025: We highly recommend this place! While looking for a place to have dinner, we spontaneously stumbled upon this restaurant – it's just down the first side street from the main square! In our own experience, you can't expect much in terms of food quality at restaurants on the main square. This one, however, was very good ;) One thing we'd like to point out: When we got there around 8 p.m., there were still a few seats available. At first, the waitress ignored us, and when we asked if we could sit down, she said, "Not for about 20 minutes." We didn't understand, as, as I said, there were still seats available. She was unfriendly at first, but then explained to us that she was alone and therefore didn't have any capacity at the moment. Of course, we understood, and didn't come back for another 20 minutes. After that, she was definitely super friendly, and the food was also very tasty 😅 We had two of the swordfish with caper and tomato salsa and the chef's spaghetti with seafood! They were all GREAT 😋😋😋 really delicious, including the sauce! The bread was also very fresh and was served to us without asking. We didn't really like the house white wine, but that's a matter of taste :) We would go back here again!

10/10/2025: This review is based on several dinners. Located slightly away from the main street of San Vito, which makes it a little quieter. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Short, excellent menu. Carefully prepared food. The small indoor dining room has air conditioning, a welcome feature as it's rare among the many restaurants in San Vito. Truly excellent value. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: We had lunch at Sireno restaurant and I have to say it was a truly top-notch experience! Excellent quality food, fair prices, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

04/10/2025: Pasta with a little fennel, mediocre in taste, the quarter of a sardine on top must have been a bit older, the food was hard to digest, I found it all in all too expensive

26/08/2025: This place, unlike other restaurants in nearby tourist destinations, still maintains its style, high-quality ingredients, and fair prices for what you eat—characteristics lost in most nearby tourist destinations. Excellent raw seafood, generous portions, and exquisite traditional desserts. I'll definitely be back!

11/10/2025: Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our table, we should have booked in advance. Service efficient, food good, unfortunately we discovered this eatery on our last day otherwise we would have returned. A really nice young guy took the time to explain the procedure for making Marsala. Thank you 😁

06/10/2025: A charming place, nestled in the heart of Castellammare! We had an aperitif and ordered drinks. The platter was lovely and pleasant, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The only flaw, if I may, was that I didn't particularly appreciate paying €6 for a bread basket... Re: Okay, there will be another opportunity! :) Next time, however, I think it would be more appropriate to disclose the cost or surcharge for the basket to give customers an informed choice. Also, in our case, we weren't offered bread, but rather the bread-and-pizza basket itself, which, at €6, is still expensive in my opinion.

26/09/2025: It was a pleasant surprise: we'd passed by several times and, thinking the crepes were only sweet, never stopped. We made a big mistake: spectacular! We ate the savory ones with great pleasure. We recommend stopping and waiting; it's definitely worth it.

01/09/2025: Unfortunately, this place isn't what it once was. Prices are now in line with tourist fare, losing the authenticity that set it apart from a simple street food stand. The magic of discovering a genuine place, far from the usual offerings of the city center's renowned restaurants, has vanished. A real shame, because it was truly special.

03/09/2025: I was there yesterday, September 2nd, and immediately made friends with the pizza chef, an artist of 20 years, who makes incredible, even imaginative, pizzas. The pizzas are truly fantastic, even the cassatella. I recommend it to everyone. It's a shame we live an hour away, so I think it'll be hard to go back. Anyway, thank you, and go there; they're waiting for you with a smile. :)

23/09/2025: my restaurant to go, high on my list. Very populair make a reservation! Simpel and very tastefull menu's, i love the bruchetta's en pesce spada, even the pizza's are very good and not expensive. I visit the restaurant when i am in Marsala where my sailing boat lays.
