07/05/2025: Typical sycilian bar in a small town with a really nice climate. But the real star were the huge cannoli with absolutely the best filling I have ever tried it’s a must try!

13/04/2025: It is a pastry bar in Naples, near Trapani, it represents one of those peculiarities that makes this land unique in its kind, typical sweets of a refinement and taste that cannot be explained unless after having tasted them, the staff is accustomed to kindness and availability, qualities that are now uncommon, travel packages for those who, like me, transfer the flavor of Sicily to the mainland by airplane. A stop not to be missed.

18/05/2025: About a week ago, we had lunch here and it was overall our best and most memorable meal in Valderice. The restaurant is centrally located along the main street and offers a very well-curated menu of West Sicilian specialities and general Italian classics. We had a mix of meat and fish dishes, including the fish couscous, which was one of our highlights, and the almond parfait for dessert, which was the other. We were served by two very friendly and forthcoming hosts (not sure if it was the owners but may well have been). Especially the older waiter was charismatic and charming, joking around with the other guests and us, and making us feel welcome. The waitress was also very accommodating and friendly, speaking English well and catering excellently for our culinary needs .

06/06/2025: Provato la prima sera sulla base delle recensioni. La prima sera siamo stati benissimo, pesce freschissimo tortino al cioccolato con gelato da volare via, e ci hanno offerto 2 bicchierini di marsala. Essendo a Marsala 2 notti siamo tornati la sera successiva e su consiglio del cameriere abbiamo preso le bruschette con salsa di basilico viola e pesce spada e bruschette con l’acciuga, i sapori a dir poco fantastici, di secondo tonno scottato con verdure e polipo con purea di patate. Pesce superlativooooo. Nonostante non avessimo preso il dolce ci hanno offerto 2 bicchieri di marsala. Conto onestissimo, se ricapiterò a Marsala non ho dubbi dove mangiar3.

30/05/2025: Trattoria senza fronzoli. Menu da cui si fatica a scegliere...gnocchi con salsiccia, mandorle, pistacchi e pomodorini favolosi! Ottima anche la tuma fritta con bottarga e l'antipasto di gamberi. Ottimo il servizio e prezzo assolutamente adeguato all'offerta. PS bagno forse un po' troppo piccolo.

28/05/2025: A great experience! We had a great time from start to finish. The typical Sicilian dishes were delicious and really well presented, with refined flavors. The wine was also great, perfectly chosen. A place to keep in mind for a trip to Sicily for a meal. Don't hesitate, go for it!

23/05/2025: Friendly and welcoming pizza restaurant in Valderice! We had dinner here on a weekday evening and really enjoyed the food. The pizzas are freshly made and with quality ingredients. The menu includes quite a few local and unusual toppings, many with fish or seafood. I went for the salmon and breadcrumbs pizza and didn’t regret my choice. It was nicely balanced, maybe a tiny bit too heavy and light on the tomatoes; but still very good and memorable. The service is fast and professional. The atmosphere for dining in is down-to-earth and unassuming but the pictures on the wall about Valderice in the past add a nice touch. The prices are very fair.

12/05/2025: Extremely good pizza. Fast service. We found a place in the little house on the forecourt. We can recommend it.

02/06/2025: This is a van that makes fabulous sandwiches and granitas. It moves between the slide and Cala Rossa depending on the wind. Locals recommended it to us and it's worth it. The fish and vegetables in the sandwiches are very fresh and the toppings are plentiful. The granitas are delicious. We ate a sandwich with tuna, grilled courgettes and caramelised onion and one with swordfish, tomato and aubergines (and oregano which was amazing). The watermelon granita really tastes like watermelon as does the almond one, which I recommend drowning in coffee. The prices aren't low but considering the ingredients, the care and friendliness of the owner, they're worth it!

30/05/2025: I am infinitely grateful to the owner of the house where we stayed for having shown us this restaurant behind Porta Garibaldi. The place is welcoming and has a sense of hospitality, the entree of panelle prepares you for an exceptional culinary experience. For two we had a trio of exquisite arancini with squid ink and a tuna tartare that my husband said was divine. For second courses we ordered tuna kebab in piadina, wakame seaweed, a mixed fry (where the frying was imperceptible so delicate it was) and grilled vegetables. We accompanied everything with a kiké from the Fine cellars and to finish we had a deconstructed cannoli that immersed you in the typical flavors of the place. To finish we were offered an excellent Marsala if we were to return to Marsala it will certainly be a destination for a dinner based on fresh fish. I apologize only if my little one was a little lively

19/05/2025: Compared to the cuisine in Morocco, the restaurant is average touristy. Long wait for cold appetizers, which they eventually bring with the main course. You don't get homemade Arabic bread with your meal, but old, dry bread like from the supermarket.

13/05/2025: We had lunch and then smoked a shisha here. Lunch was delicious, a true blend of Italian cuisine with Arabic influences! The owners are very friendly. And it's the only place in town to smoke a shisha, I recommend it!

17/05/2025: Estamos en nuestro cuarto día viajando por Sicilia. Al llegar a nuestro alojamiento deambulamos por las calles de Marsala, buscando un lugar para comer. Después de haber pasado por varios restaurantes que casualidad en Oscia Restaurante, habiendo sido sentado por el camarero educado leímos el menú haciendo nuestras elecciones. Durante este tiempo me di cuenta de lo relajado que me sentía, el ambiente del restaurante era cálido, acogedor y rezumado de calma. Disfrutamos de la casa de color rojo, y nuestros dos principales, que eran deliciosos y calientes. (La comida caliente es una ventaja en estos días que encuentro) Luego seleccionamos el desierto, uno mejor descrito como un sándwich de gofres crujientes (waffle hecho con masa de cerveza) con un relleno cremoso. Para ser justos lo seleccionamos como un “realmente con cerveza” pero recomendaría este postre, no se dejen llevar por los ingredientes que tiene un factor sorpresa. La otra era una casita de naranja, las dos no dudaría en tomar de nuevo. Si volvemos a Marsala, no dudaría en volver a Oscia.
