19/02/2025: What can I say, VERY GOOD. The most authentic place I ate in Favignana... typical cuisine, they have a wide choice of first courses, second courses, all very fresh. Not the usual "tourist" place you find in the center.... It's worth stopping by several times, so you can taste everything!!! Highly recommended….

29/12/2024: A few steps from our B&B we decide to try this gastronomy on the advice of our friends. Everything is freshly prepared, very clean open kitchen. We had an octopus salad, scialatelli alla norma and tuna meatballs. The food was excellent, but the added value is the staff, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di salumi e formaggi che ci sono stati serviti con marmellate che esaltavano ancora di più il gusto del piatto. Abbiamo poi preso due grigliate di carne mista che erano davvero ottime Buone le quantità e altissima qualità della carne servita accompagnata da un vino rosso buonissimo consigliato dal personale.Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chi vuole godersi una cena davvero speciale . Prezzi nella media dei locali del luogo

27/10/2024: Yesterday, we had an amazing meal at l’Antico Granaio. I had seared tuna with pistachios, and my wife had seared tuna with pickled red onions. Both tuna dishes were perfectly prepared, but the sweet and sour pickled red onions were exceptional – such a perfect balance! For dessert, we had the pistachio tiramisu, which at first seemed like a disappointment because it wasn’t fresh. However, after the first bite, it became clear – it was a flavor explosion you simply can’t achieve with fresh tiramisu. Only two days left here in Castellammare del Golfo, but we’ll be back!

07/03/2025: What a find! I had the platter of mortadella, the lamb chops, tiramisu, a glass of house red, and a bottle of water. Total including cover charge €45. Really great food in a beautiful environment. And dog-friendly, too! They only lost a star because they didn’t omit potatoes as I’d asked, and it took way, way too long (an hour) to get their attention to see a dessert menu, and then I had to get up and ask a waiter as they didn’t even look in my direction for me to make eye contact without shouting for attention which I won’t do, and they didn’t bring my dog water until I asked for it. Those details would have got them 5 stars. But the waiters were perfectly friendly, the place itself is lovely, and the food and wine fantastic. Highly recommended.

23/03/2025: Recommended by relatives who are regular customers, we tried this lovely osteria in the historic center, welcomed and pampered by Lalla and Samuele (I hope the names are right!), and also thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of both the place and the excellent piped music, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, tasting as first courses the "Calamarata with Grouper, Prawns, Eggplant and Stracciatella of Sicilian Burrata" and the "Tagliatelle al Ragù" of Octopus, Fish Eggs and Toasted Crumbs”, and finishing with an excellent semifreddo with eggnog drowned in Marsala, followed by a coffee and a bitter with kindly complimented tagliancozzi. Everything perfect!

23/03/2025: We were guests on Saturday evening, although we had not booked they welcomed us in the outdoor space. The food is excellent, I personally recommend the "calamarata" and the "Tonnara" platter. The Cous Cous is also excellent. Valentina's attention, Lalla's friendliness and Samuele's professionalism stand out. Advised.

29/12/2024: Una de las cenas más mediocres de nuestra semana en Sicilia. Habíamos leído buenas críticas pero la realidad es que ha sido una de las peores experiencias de nuestro viaje. Ya al leer la carta nos costó Dios y ayuda decidirnos por algo que nos sedujera mínimamente. Platos poco atractivos, con mezclas que no parecía (como así fue) que pudiesen funcionar.Probamos 5 platos y ni uno solo levantó pasiones, más bien al contrario. Un bacalao fresco, no incomible, pero demasiado salado y del montón; unas sepias a la plancha que tuvimos que dejar en el plato, duras como una piedra, crudas y quemadas; una pasta rellena que no sabía absolutamente a nada y unos macarrones grandes con una crema de patata infumable. Salimos de allí lo más rápido posible y lo que había sido un recibimiento amigable (el dueño se sentó en nuestra mesa para hacernos recomendaciones y hablarnos de sus vacaciones en Canarias) se tornó en una despedida fría sin ofrecernos ni postre. Obviamente él también se había dado cuenta que no nos había gustado la cena y optó por no hacer ningún comentario al respecto. Creo que él también era consciente de que nos había dado gato por liebre y que no nos la había colado. Comida sin personalidad ni sabor, cara para la mediocridad de lo recibido. La peor experiencia de nuestro viaje.

17/03/2025: Perhaps the best restaurant in Trapani. A beautiful environment, furnished with care and warmth in the historic center, a few steps from the port. Competent and attentive staff. The dishes are a joy for the palate. All top quality ingredients, including fish and shellfish. Traditional dishes, updated with grace and wisdom. The fish couscous with fried courgettes and Trapani-style pesto cream is excellent. The bruschetta with sea urchins are unforgettable. Also worth mentioning is a very delicate and tasty seafood caponata, excellently balanced. The desserts are also good. Highly recommended
