05/08/2024: New management and now the Resort is called Il Carosello dei Baroni, a place of enchanting beauty, the service is excellent. Among the ancient stones, remains of a 1400s convent, stands the structure, finely reconstructed and elegantly furnished. A large swimming pool surrounds large common green areas. Highly recommended.

20/08/2024: As a Sicilian I wanted to try a granita in one of the most "elegant" places in Avola. Mangiafico Caffè Novecento. Out of curiosity, to change the taste, I took a ricotta granita. It was served to me in a paper cup. I was told that they don't serve them in glass for safety reasons.... shame that the beers sold to young people were in glass bottles. In my opinion, given its consistency, it was an ice cream and not the classic granita. The flavour... absent. I told the owner....the answer......that's how we do it. The problem is precisely this. Too bad for the tourists, a disappointment.

12/08/2024: Excellent ice cream bar in the Avola area. Nice and clean environment, possibility to sit with many tables both inside and outside. Air-conditioned room, clean bathroom. Easy access with ramp at the entrance. Both the diner pieces and the desserts are of excellent quality. Particularly satisfied with the ice cream flavors, some typical local ones. The cream-based ones are good as are the fruit-based ones. Kindness and courtesy on the part of the staff ensure a pleasant experience, whether you need to enjoy a coffee at the table or choose a take-away product.

11/08/2024: Having understood that the environment and table service of the pizzeria is not very convincing, we must not give up because the secret of the place is clearly the pizzolo and the Ina pizza. The values ​​of this pizzeria are to be found in the dough (well rolled, thin and crunchy), well seasoned with good quality ingredients and more than generous dimensions. Clearly the rest is all a balance between a very convenient price and an essential service without anything else. We stayed outside with our family in the summer and enjoyed pizzas and pizzoli and were very satisfied. If you are looking for an excellent pizza or pizzolo, this is a valid choice; if instead you are looking for a place of a certain level, simply avoid it.

26/08/2024: Very basic place, slow staff. 7 course starter of unsatisfactory hot fish. 5 samples of fish were served and two courses were vegetables... the mixed fried fish was not a mixed fry but a fried dish of only one type of fish (small ones). After reporting it, a discount was applied….

24/08/2024: Serata Probabilmente Sbagliata per la struttura. Abbiamo.atteso pù di 1 ora per il servizio Quando ci hanno servito finalmente dopo aver richiesto l ordinazione almeno tre volte, finalmente ill cibo è arrivato. Buona la qualità del pesce crudo pessimima quella del cotto. Oltre che minima visto il prezzo richiesto.Pizza nella norma. Caffè Ed amari micro offerti dalla casa. La buona volontà e la gentilezza del proprietario non sono stati. Suff a celare e compensare l'impreparazione del resto del personale e della cucina. Detratto dal conto il cotto disastroso comunque. Esperienza da non ripetere.

08/07/2024: to check in for 40 minutes in a row, the balance of the room is requested at the entrance, my partner didn't have the document at hand and they forced us to go back to the car to get it, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to continue the check in check out 40 min in line the structure could be very good but it is very poorly managed. the pool bar closes at 6pm from 4pm to 7.30pm you cannot eat anything because the kitchens are closed. you can only have ice creams by the pool, considering that the place is very isolated it is a serious disservice in the pool almost all the deckchairs were full and children shouted at all hours frozen and damp room. sign of mold on the headboard

Excellent pizzas with the right leavening with excellent toppings...as a Palermo native, when I return to Syracuse it will be one of the places I will go again with immense pleasure.🤠

13/08/2024: Excellente cuisine. Nous avons pris du poisson grillé, des crustacés, des pâtes. Carmine a été au petit soin pour satisfaire nos envies, en dehors de la carte. Le service était irréprochable.

06/08/2024: Volevo provare questo posto da tanto tempo ma si è rivelato una grandissima delusione. La birra calda, le pizze praticamente tutta bordo, pastoso e colloso. Nella foto vedete quello che resta delle tre pizze che abbiamo ordinato: solo un piatto è fatto di bordi. Il cameriere quando abbiamo ordinato ci ha parlato di qualità professionale ma abbiamo riscontrato pizze quasi insipide ( tra l'altro le melanzane della mia parmigiana erano piene di semi) sin prezzo altissimo. Da non rifare assolutamente.
