08/12/2024: Pizzeria storica di Augusta negli anni 90 era la numero uno ora sta perdendo qualche colpo. Mi dispiace dirlo è una pizza che rimane agli anni 90. Però buono cercate di fare una pizza gourmet un consiglio di una persona che apprezza la pizza.

15/05/2025: Cena para dos. Primero Filetto di manzo vino bien hecho a pesar de ser ordenado medio raro. Segundo llegó medio raro sin embargo lleno de tendones y carente de calidad. Por último, pero no menos importante, parecía normal que una señora local estaba fumando su IQOS dentro del restaurante... El propietario parecía muy agradable, sin embargo, abrumado con su equipo no actuar en una noche de viernes ocupado... . nada más que añadir.

03/05/2025: Sembra poco più di un forno, in realtà ha un’ampia gamma di prodotti tipici, salati e dolci e anche di piatti di gastronomia. I più qui comprano per asporto ma ci sono anche alcuni tavoli (pochi) per appoggiarsi e mangiare sul posto. I prodotti sono molto casalinghi, senza raffinatezze particolari o moderne: qui si guarda soprattutto alla sostanza del prodotto, più che all’estetica e alla presentazione. In zona è famoso per gli Arancini ma a mio avviso i prodotti forti del locale sono altri. Trovate pizza, sfoglia, impanate, focaccia, scrocchiarella ripiena caponata, verdure. Prezzi davvero modici. Se vi capita (perché non c’è sempre) provate il torrone al cioccolato. Servizio gentile nonostante la grande e continua folla. Il locale è facile da raggiungere: si trova nel cuore di Ortigia. L’intera via in cui è situato merita una visita turistica: è una strada tipica per l’architettura e anche ricca di piccole botteghe artigiane e negozi tipici.

26/04/2025: The truth is that I had to change my score. Every time I come to Syracuse I buy gohan here. Either they changed management or they are miserable. It's a shame that they have reduced the number of products like this. They gave me a “large” EMPTY. A scam that for 13 euros I got a mini bowl with less than half of RICE, they added 4 pieces of avocado (when I asked for them to put x3 since I don't like other condiments). His performance is regrettable. I would never buy again.

19/04/2025: The portions are getting smaller and smaller: today we ordered two large portions and they gave us two regular ones. We were absolutely disappointed because we had already called to tell you about the problem. Since you don't care about customers' opinions: we will not return and we will share the bad experiences with our acquaintances. I am modifying the review given the response received. We used to come and serve ourselves at your place so we know the bowls and the sizes very well: they were clearly large ones filled in half... so stop using the excuse of different bowls as if the customers were stupid. Goodbye and never again!

01/10/2024: What on earth is going on here…. I can’t even begin to understand the good reviews for this Restaurant. Arrived at this beautiful location very excited, expecting to have a true gastronomic feast and wow what an incredible let down. 4 of us, ordered 11 items from the menu and the best thing by far was the bread/olive oil. Shocking how the head chef could try any of what was served and think that guests would enjoy any of it. Risotto/pasta/linguine dishes- bland is such an understatement! Sicilian/Italian food should be rich and have depth that comes from being made with love and passion for all things food. The risotto especially was a total embarrassment to gastronomy.. Cod cous-cous and the octopus with pickled vegetables were both awfully boring with literally zero flavour. Embarrassing to serve such flat and bland food! Served alongside the amazing olive oil was a huge salt dispenser, could the concept of this place be ‘season and flavour the food by yourself’….. lentil/veg soup looked incredible, then one bite and the sadness just grew! seemed like it was prepared by a robot(honestly how can something so tasteless be served to anyone). The beef tartare was partly still frozen! The sea bass tartare had what might be considered a ‘hint’ of flavour but maybe I am kidding myself and starting to feel sorry for this place. Please do not even consider going to this place if like ourselves, you have travelled and sampled fine cuisine from many incredible establishments across the globe. The car journey back to the villa was part shock and part hilarious outbursts of what did we just experience.

10/05/2025: I ragazzi sono simpatici e super accoglienti! Il posto è dentro al mercato, piccolino ma con tavolini e sedie comode. Il pesce è freschissimo, c’è una scelta abbondante in base al pescato del giorno. Veramente consigliato! Se volete mangiare pesce fresco, bere un bicchiere di vino e assaporare l’aria di mare e l’atmosfera del mercato, è il posto che fa per voi! :)
