07/09/2025: So I wouldn't even know where to start, smooth dough without salt, toppings like raw peas, flavorless and cold pizza, I only went there because my trusted pizzeria is closed for holidays.

06/09/2025: The pizza is not always the same, in the sense that sometimes it is good and balanced in flavors, but sometimes like tonight it is not edible at all, the thin, hard dough, it seemed like a shoe insole, difficult even to chew and the flavors completely unbalanced, not to mention the smoked provola completely charred and dry, I'm sorry but unfortunately since it is not constant and alternating between good pizzas and terrible pizzas, I will not buy it again, it can happen once but I would say that 2 terrible pizzas out of 4 that I have bought are even too many

30/08/2025: A beautiful venue, the result of meticulous attention to detail, from the menu graphics to the presentation of the cocktails (which are also very good). A lovely atmosphere in a very charming setting, managed with care and taste. The aperitif platter was delicious and plentiful!

18/09/2025: I returned to Aziz after not being there for 15 years, and I remembered it making delicious kebabs, but I was completely disappointed! The kebab flatbread tasted like nothing; there was almost no meat; it seemed like there were breadcrumbs instead. The flatbread was almost empty. The price had gone up. Too disappointed, I didn't like it at all! I'll never go back!

06/09/2025: A 45-50 minute wait for two kebabs is unacceptable. I also assume this is normal for them, given that other reviews say the same thing and the staff didn't even offer any apology. A maxi kebab (perhaps what would once have been a standard kebab in any Italian city) costs €7. I understand inflation and the desire/need to align prices with other local businesses, since Ortigia is expensive, but given the service offered, it's not worth it.

03/09/2025: We recently went to dinner at this restaurant, recommended by friends. I have to say, I wasn't thrilled with the entree, but the welcome was warm. We had the tourist menu, which I must say was plentiful and fresh. There was a bit of time between courses because the chef made them freshly. Excellent! He came to our table to see how it went, and honestly, I was very pleased because it's not for everyone. Chefs, or rather, those who call themselves chefs (even though they aren't, really), never come. Anyway, both the young man and woman who served us were very good and professional. I recommend it if you want to spend an evening with friends!

20/08/2025: Very good restaurant located a little outside of town. Warm welcome and the service was friendly and efficient. Fresh fish on the menu and we were served generous portions. It's worth the detour.

30/06/2025: I took 3 pizzas for takeaway, they were horrible to look at, burnt and tasteless, I will never go again

11/10/2025: The staff is friendly, but three things need to be said. 1) You can't include salmon in the daily marinated local fish dish. 2) You can't include 10 clams in a dish of linguine with clams (priced at €22), especially if they're grown two meters away. 3) You can't recommend a wine only to find out when you get the bill that it costs €60 (it would be fair to mention this beforehand).

06/09/2025: The food was truly excellent and delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert, but the friendliness, hospitality, and kindness were a 0. Starting from the maître d''s expression when we first asked for our one-year-old son's dinner to be delivered immediately, to the confused and haughty expression of a waitress when we simply asked for a little more lemon for the peppery mussels. To top it off, while we were eating our appetizer, the pasta suddenly arrived, as if they were in a hurry to send us home and not even taking the blame for having ordered the main course too quickly. Sometimes simply eating well isn't enough when friendliness is lacking, a simple smile, and you don't feel welcome at all. For this reason, we absolutely won't be returning! 0.

23/09/2025: Fabulous cafe in the main square with plenty of choice for breakfast pastries. Table service is an extra 20% but easy enough to order inside at the bustling and busy counter il (lots of locals). Super cheap. We had brioche, croissant and some kind of chocolate pastry (all fresh and delicious), Americano and macchiato- all for just over 7 euro.

04/09/2025: I had a spritz and it was brought to me in a plastic cup. It was ruined too. Two crisps not included in the aperitif (2) €2.70.

08/08/2025: Great café! Single origin arabica, which is so much tastier than any other bitter coffee. They give you extra hot water for an americano :) and good pastries

28/08/2025: I went there late at night for an aperitivo on the last night of Saint Lucia's holiday. The bar was completely empty, and they brought me appetizers without even a few appetizers because they said they'd run out. So, if you can't guarantee proper service, close down before you make a better impression. Because in the end, after having pointed this out to the cashier, the owner didn't even dare take a single euro off the bill and charged everything in full. A few weeks earlier, I also tried a toasted almond granita, and it had no almond flavor at all, and they even messed up my order by adding extra pieces. Compared to years ago, in my opinion, they're going further back...

12/10/2025: Probably the best granita in Syracuse; the sweet and savory baked goods are also excellent.

09/09/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this one deserved it. Since it was renovated and reopened (or changed management, who knows), the staff service has been seriously lacking. The cashier should be avoided like the plague, twice, so it's not a fluke. If you don't like interacting with the public, change your job, because you'll make people shy away!

23/08/2025: Nice little place on the beach in Noto. Whenever I'm in that area, I always have a good time there. The house seafood appetizer and salads are excellent. The first courses are good, the service is excellent, and the host is very friendly.
