21/09/2025: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We sat down with good intentions based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the kitchen had some problems that they couldn't fix. So, after an hour of waiting, for which the restaurant is obviously not responsible, we had to ask for bread that hadn't been brought, and the table light was dim. Subsequently, they informed us of the kitchen problem and completely cancelled the dish. We waited even longer... only to be served two flavorless entrees. Our biggest disappointment was that, having a small child, it was difficult to make him wait so long, and in the end, he practically ate bread! The glass of wine we had ordered was added to my receipt, but it was never brought to us. They finally asked if they could offer us a liqueur, but after almost two hours, we declined because we were exhausted from our stay. The staff was numerous, but they were wandering around without anything. Overall, a bad experience.

11/09/2025: I have been here twice during my stay in Augusta and I must say that here I felt the most chilled atmosphere. Food is good and has a touch of gourmet to complete each dish. Definitely recommended.

15/08/2025: Tagliolini with lobster, white shrimp, house appetizer, and wine. The price was fair. We ate well and left satisfied. However, if you're a group of more than 10 people, the problems begin: the kitchen doesn't allow you to order à la carte; you have to adapt to a menu agreed upon at the time (minimum selection). So, if you want a specific dish, the staff will tell you the kitchen can't accommodate tables of this size (even though no one mentioned this on the phone when you booked). If you want to have a good time (and you can easily do so), you just have to be careful.

30/07/2025: I ordered a cake for my birthday, but the order was wrong. I placed a first order, which I then canceled to place a second. In the second order, I requested a simple white cake with delicate cursive writing, but when I went to pick it up, I saw the wrong cake from the first order, and it was also very poorly made (all pink with double, crooked writing. I've attached the first and second references sent and the result in the photo). I asked for an explanation, and the only thing they could say was "the first order was fulfilled and we didn't change it," even though I had asked to cancel it a week before (and I wonder why they accepted a second order if you still made me the first one?) A very negative experience, a nasty surprise on my birthday.

12/08/2025: Busy in the evenings after 8:00 PM, great place, great food, excellent quality hot food, including arancini cartocciate and other local specialties, along with equally high-quality desserts, cassata cakes, etc. Excellent for breakfast too, with almond granitas, iris, brioches with tuppo, etc., but too crowded (as is right, given the quality) for my taste.

12/08/2025: Good morning, I am writing this review without any personal interest, but only if I can share the experience we had yesterday, August 31, 2019, of a lunch for 4 people. I was on vacation in Sicily and to say that I ate badly breaks my heart because it is an insult to all the restaurateurs we have been trying every day for 15 days in various locations. We ordered 2 mixed fried fish dishes with an unspeakable flavor, not fried well, with a bitter taste, had them taken back, at which point we asked for 1 fried calamari dish... I won't go any further. IN THE FINAL BILL THEY MADE YOU PAY FOR THE 2 MIXED FRIED FOODS one at a time, I didn't want to believe it... but I prefer to have paid for 2 first courses, 1 fried calamari dish, 2 mussel dishes, 1 liter of wine on tap, 3 coffees, 2 bitters, €116.00. I will repeat endlessly that negative publicity creates more of a stir than almost any controversy. I give 1 star because I am obliged to never again, what a shame. paying for what you haven't eaten is very annoying.

15/11/2025: I've been choosing L'Antico Casale degli Ulivi for years now for every important occasion or even just a weekend getaway, and I highly recommend it. The place is super clean and meticulously maintained, the staff is incredibly kind and attentive to every request, they're well-organized, and above all, the food is excellent and high-quality. What more could you ask for? Try it and believe it...

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. We went by reservation, and were assigned a table practically adjacent to the kitchen entrance and the hallway to the bathrooms, despite there being other free tables in undoubtedly better locations. I don't think this is a great courtesy for guests who didn't arrive at the last minute, but who had the foresight to reserve by phone ahead of time. It was impossible to have a peaceful dinner, with a constant coming and going of busy waiters and staff with trays and plates, who even bumped into one of our chairs at the table without even apologizing. We ordered fries, ignoring the presentation; the quality was beyond reproach, so much so that they stayed on our plates. Next, we ordered pizzas, which arrived practically cold—unacceptable! Furthermore, everything was served to us in a rush, as if to vacate the table as quickly as possible. We had practically finished dinner by 9:30 PM, having arrived at 8:30 PM. As if that weren't enough, we finally asked for the bill at the table, but it never arrived! After half an hour of waiting, during which we were told it would arrive, we were suddenly sent straight to the cashier without explanation and after having been kept waiting pointlessly. The bill was significantly higher than the quality of the service and food offered; I absolutely wouldn't return.

30/08/2025: A beautiful venue, the result of meticulous attention to detail, from the menu graphics to the presentation of the cocktails (which are also very good). A lovely atmosphere in a very charming setting, managed with care and taste. The aperitif platter was delicious and plentiful!

21/11/2025: A quiet location and atmosphere surrounded by greenery, with beautiful rooms overall and all the necessary comforts. Excellent food. The owners are friendly, polite, and very available for any need. Fair prices.

07/09/2025: Good agrotouristico Lemon farm not far from Syracuse. Great pool and really delicious dinner. Breakfast is okay, but limited selection. Some fruit, one type of sausage and cheese each, jam, cookies, and juice. Good location for exploring the area.

Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

30/09/2025: A lovely, charming restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Delicious pizza, just as it should be, well-leavened, and with delicious combinations, especially the gourmet ones. Try them all.
