12/08/2025: Terrible experience!!!! They seated 13 of us and served us drinks... then the waitress took our order... a few minutes later she came back and told me that what we ordered from the menu wasn't available because the items we wanted weren't there... why does this even raise this question? Because the items on the menu are prepared in another restaurant and brought here... what?!??!?!!??!?! In short, in the end we paid for 3 waters and 2 beers... 25 euros...!!!!!

09/08/2025: My experience hasn't been positive at all. There's no price list anywhere, which indicates that this is a place intended to scam any unwary visitor. The staff's friendliness is conspicuous by its absence, as they serve you with a snarky attitude. The ice cream and cannoli we ordered were quite ordinary, with prices you discover when you pay. It wasn't what I remembered from other times we've been to Ortigia.

16/08/2025: A SHOOTING star, just because you can't give less, we ordered 4 pizzas for 8.45pm, at 9.15pm we called because the pizzas still had to be delivered and we were told they were about to leave, we waited another half hour and still nothing, so we called back and here, after yet another excuse, they started to address us in rude tones... NOT RECOMMENDED!

26/07/2025: We ordered pizzas at 8:30 PM and they arrived at 10:45 PM. The dough was raw, and the pizza was disgusting, truly disgusting. I don't recommend it at all, it's a total disgrace.

14/06/2025: Tourist scam, avoid, no prices displayed, opaque bill "varies" means nothing. 3 small sandwiches without flavor. A beer and a small bottle of water. + service 1€? Why is it a bar? = 20€. Unfortunately This does not give a good image of Sicily.... too bad, you leave the port, you cross the bridge and you will find something good and cheap to eat.

11/06/2025: We really enjoyed the experience! The sacaccias with tomato were delicious, the lasagna was very good and the Sicilian piadina was also great. Very nice place and very friendly staff.

26/08/2025: 4-star resort hotels have no idea what this means. Let's start with the assumption that the building should be razed and rebuilt because it's old, unsafe, and dilapidated. The head of reception is a complete incompetent and highly recommended person, incapable of fulfilling that role. I had requested a room with an 80x80 shower from an agency, which would accommodate my son's disability, and was initially given a room with a 60x60 shower. I complained to this phantom head of reception, but after turning down a triple, I was given a double, which was obviously more dilapidated than the first, but at least it had a larger shower, so despite losing the extra money, I agreed and settled for it. On the second day, despite the fact that the 19th-century air conditioning wasn't working and was turned off at night, returning from the beach littered with cigarette butts, debris, litter, broken showers, etc., we found water leaking from under the door—obviously, even the old one—and water falling from the roof, a leak that wasn't clear whether it was clear or dark water. I went to reception and was told I'd have to change rooms again the next day. Dirty hallways, dirty walls, lamps straight out of a horror movie, the food was a nightmare. The NAS would have a lot of work to do. The guy in charge of the meat picks up the food that fell on the floor and puts it back in the middle of the rest of the cooked food. We're talking about all pre-cooked food that was reheated and reused for several days. On the third day, I went to the dirty pool in the morning, with floating masses of debris, waiting for the room change, which was supposed to take place at 4:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, having not been contacted by anyone, I went to reception and who did I find? Again, I asked the front desk manager how the new room was progressing and was told there were no rooms available. From that moment on, I was completely furious. I asked to speak to the manager, but he initially refused, then put me on the phone, telling me he wasn't in the building. I called the police, and the manager magically appeared and told me he'd change my room for another run-down one with a rickety balcony and a bathtub with windows that wouldn't close, beds that were so hard they hurt my back, and a different bracelet than the one I had. When I explained what I'd experienced from his front desk manager, he explained that he was the one giving those instructions, so since a manager doesn't know how to choose his employees well and doesn't know how to handle problems impeccably, he doesn't deserve to have customers, so I left the facility and decided to sue them. P.S. The bottles at the bar all had worn state monopoly labels, but strangely enough, they were all full. I presume the alcohol wasn't even original and was being sold at extremely high prices.

26/08/2025: My daughter and I stayed here for 10 days. All in all, we had a great time. The hotel was fine by Italian standards; basic but generally clean. The same goes for the food and drinks, which weren't spectacular but fine, with plenty of choice, something for everyone. If you're used to the luxury of Turkey or Egypt and you're expecting a 10-day sun, sea, and relaxation holiday here, you'll probably be a little disappointed. However, if you have realistic expectations and consider the value for money—because you want to experience the beauty of Sicily combined with relaxing on the beach—this is a really great hotel to stay in. Book an excursion, a taxi, or a car and go out; there's plenty to do on the island. The beach and the sea are beautiful, great for swimming. The rooms are basic but clean, and any issues are resolved. The food is simply fine, the all-inclusive drinks menu is limited, but it's definitely worth it. Regarding the staff, I would like to say to the manager: Appreciate and reward these people well, let them know how important they are because they truly make the difference. The overall hotel experience is significantly enhanced by the friendly bar staff and entertainment team, among others. Their enthusiasm, energy, and conviviality ensure that guests feel welcome and have a great time. Especially Melila (bartender at the beach bar) and Yannis (entertainment team); they are truly exceptional and worth their weight in gold.

13/06/2025: The horse meat sandwich was delicious. My girlfriend had the kebab, which was also very good, I recommend it. The only downside was the waiting time, which was a bit long.

07/06/2025: I don't know, I ordered a portion of meat and paid 12 euros for it, it seems a bit excessive but whatever!

26/05/2025: Customer of this bakery, I who am the woman who always gives everyone a chance, despite a clerk being grumpy and convinced that I am deaf and also stupid, was pissed off as always, and said to her colleague, it's always her... I mean it was always me who came in at 9.15pm.... the lady behind the counter doesn't know that I work twice as hard as her, if the lady doesn't know how to work behind the counter, let her find a government job.... that said.... for this reason many people I know don't go anymore... including my partner who doesn't want to set foot in anymore.... kindness is something you can't learn, you're born with it, and being in contact with the public is not for everyone.... too bad, many places lose customers because of the clerks....

10/06/2025: We ate here twice. The pizzas are wonderful with their delicious cheese and puffy Sicilian pizza crust. The burger was overcooked, so stick to the pizzas. It took a while for the food the come to the table, but we’re on Italian time. The little plaza is a nice hangout spot. Overall it’s a great place for dinner.

05/04/2025: As soon as I entered the service of the pizzeria was perfect. I was welcomed by 2 very kind girls and the smells were very good, I highly recommend this pizzeria for people who want to try new things this pizzeria is the best
