01/10/2024: What on earth is going on here…. I can’t even begin to understand the good reviews for this Restaurant. Arrived at this beautiful location very excited, expecting to have a true gastronomic feast and wow what an incredible let down. 4 of us, ordered 11 items from the menu and the best thing by far was the bread/olive oil. Shocking how the head chef could try any of what was served and think that guests would enjoy any of it. Risotto/pasta/linguine dishes- bland is such an understatement! Sicilian/Italian food should be rich and have depth that comes from being made with love and passion for all things food. The risotto especially was a total embarrassment to gastronomy.. Cod cous-cous and the octopus with pickled vegetables were both awfully boring with literally zero flavour. Embarrassing to serve such flat and bland food! Served alongside the amazing olive oil was a huge salt dispenser, could the concept of this place be ‘season and flavour the food by yourself’….. lentil/veg soup looked incredible, then one bite and the sadness just grew! seemed like it was prepared by a robot(honestly how can something so tasteless be served to anyone). The beef tartare was partly still frozen! The sea bass tartare had what might be considered a ‘hint’ of flavour but maybe I am kidding myself and starting to feel sorry for this place. Please do not even consider going to this place if like ourselves, you have travelled and sampled fine cuisine from many incredible establishments across the globe. The car journey back to the villa was part shock and part hilarious outbursts of what did we just experience.

12/11/2024: Un arrêt paisible après avoir fait des visites touristiques. Il y avait plusieurs clients et la prise de commande a tardé toutefois le résultat est que nos plats sont bons. Le prix des assiettes est assez élevé

03/11/2024: Also writing about the café! I took home the most amazing loaf of bread, it was warm from the oven, coated in seeds and nuts and perfectly salted. The fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries were also lovely. 💗

06/03/2025: The campsite is large and open all year round. The cost is excessive. At this time of year it is very neglected. To go down to the sea you have to go outside the campsite. Access to the beach from the campsite was inaccessible. The services are good. 39 euros for a camper stop, considering the low season, seemed excessive to me for what the campsite offers. I really don't think we will return.

25/10/2024: Embarrassing situation, after having taken two coffee creams, two bottles of water and three ice creams I ask if I can use the bathroom and having read that there is a supplement of two euros I propose to pay. They reply that it's broken but I politely ask them to go anyway because I really need to change, they give me the keys saying that I'm taking the service away from the restaurant customers (it's 3pm and nobody's having lunch, at most they're drinking beers at the tables)... I can't lock the door but since they told me that I'm taking away the service from the restaurant customers because there's only one of the two bathrooms accessible and since the gate is locked and they open it I guess they won't do it no one can pass by (with only one usable bathroom)... a man opens the door for me just as I was changing... but what's worse is that as soon as I go out a foreign lady asks to use the bathroom and they tell her that they can't open the gate for her because the bathroom is occupied by a gentleman and to wait (so in my case they did it on purpose so as not to make the gentleman wait and to let him access the bathroom even though I was inside for only a minute and a half)..This summer having traveled a lot by car in Salento, Calabria, Sicily, in no seaside resort have I found myself as humiliated and embarrassed as in this one... congratulations. Furthermore, I strongly advise the owner not to give these arrogant answers and an abysmal level of ignorance, firstly because he is not able to understand who he is dealing with, and secondly because his reviews do not rise thanks to his answers, on the contrary, they only demonstrate who he is

19/09/2024: EMBARRASSING TOURIST TRAP. Terrible dishes, we took 2 sandwiches made with packaged bread, the salmon was the one from the bags, everything was truly terrible. Classic tourist trap.

05/03/2025: Ci siamo fermati X pranzo , coppia con due figli , abbiamo preso 4 primi tutti di buon livello e di giusta porzione per una bella esperienza a Marzamemi. Location suggestiva e che in parte giustifica il coperto. Servizio attento per una bella esperienza. da tornare

23/02/2025: Che dire di questo posto incantevole .. ci siamo fermate per fare un aperitivo al tramonto con un bel bicchiere di vino ,un tagliere piccolo che devo dire le quantotà erano perfette … ci siamo proprio rilassate e tutto era buonissimo e in gran quantità … ritorneremoooo… continuate così

05/12/2024: Locale bellissimo in ottima posizione. Ci sono stata per la prima volta su consiglio di amici e il menù di pesce che ho provato era ottimo. Porzioni abbondanti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Per me, merita una visita.

18/11/2024: Serata piacevole con amici per gustare pietanze tipiche con baccalà e stoccafisso. Il Signor Luigi gentilissimo. L'ambiente è molto accogliente. Facile da raggiungere. Vicino c è un piccolo parcheggio ma le auto possono essere parcheggiate nei dintorni.

04/11/2024: Beautiful venue!!! But alas in August they no longer have Corona beer and they couldn't make the moito because we didn't have mint!!! Not to mention the sandwiches where you couldn't make 5 types because there was no raw material. We had asked for the chips before the sandwiches but they arrived later. And let's not talk about the favoritism that serves family members first and then others!!!

13/08/2024: We stopped here just to have a quick aperitif... exaggeratedly inflated prices (18 euros for a glass of wine, a coke and a bruschetta with only cherry tomatoes), a cover charge which honestly wasn't justified in the slightest (we didn't have cutlery, bread, snacks or anything other than what we had generously paid for) and when I asked to be able to pay by card I was told a lot of fuss (the POS which didn't seem to work, I was asked if I was staying in the around to get some cash, etc.) and then satisfied myself after a bit of insistence (the POS was there and it worked). When I asked to see the receipt for the 18 euro bill which didn't add up, I was told that they issued it but there was no card... Very nice location however.

28/03/2025: A very friendly welcome awaits you over a coffee and a freshly prepared cannoli. Very classic atmosphere.

28/02/2025: I was hungry and tired between Neapolis and Museo Archeologico. Fortunately, I saw the Teocrito bar! Tasty cake, strong coffee and friendly service!

22/08/2024: Experience not to be repeated. My family and I came to the restaurant in memory of some past pizza. Unfortunately, now it is no longer possible to order pizzas so we ordered first courses and starters. Super salty first courses, with excessively al dente pasta, almost inedible. Octopus inedible, as if it were not cooked. The peppered mussels are saved. So-so service, they mixed up one course and we were served something else, they brought two scented towels when there were definitely more people at the table. Definitely worth seeing again. Environment nothing special, average. Prices like any other fish restaurant, but absolutely not worth it.

20/01/2025: Avete mai provato le linguine ai ricci in brodo? Noi si . Domenica 20 gennaio 2025. In 4 abbiamo ordinato 2 linguine allo scoglio e 2 linguine ai ricci. Mentre i primi erano appena accettabili ( il condimento " scoglio" usano il preparato surgelato misto scoglio) le linguine ai ricci erano da rispedire in cucina: intanto assolutamente senza sale, poi immerse in una valanga di brodo. Ricci totalmente assenti. Erano rimasti a mare i ricci. Non commentiamo i piatti che sono stati lasciati circa a metà. Il conto pagato : euro 21,00 per le linguine ai ricci (ognuno) euro 18 per le linguine allo scoglio ( ognuno) euro 50 per 2 antipasti ( anche questi da rimandare indietro). Mai più. In questo locale non solo non sanno cucinare ma utilizzano materie scadenti
