Three of us had a most wonderful experience here today. My wife and were visiting from the UK and a local friend took us here for lunch. The food was truly outstanding. We had a collection of dishes and each was exquisite. Wonderful tuna and bream. Outstanding vegetables, breads and deserts. The service was friendly and helpful. If I lived in Syracuse I would eat here regularly. We then visited Ortigia and it is now the evening and we feel we don't need to eat till tomorrow!

I was disappointed with the ice cream sundae. I ordered chocolate and ricotta ice cream with cream; there was a lot of cream and not enough ice cream, and you can tell from the photo. I'm also disappointed because we've been customers for several years and I'd never had ice cream sundae.

Take a little time for yourself and pamper yourself with a super breakfast! After choosing from an infinite number of sweets and cakes, biscuits, chocolate creams... A world made of precision and taste. All the staff ready to serve you and to give you their availability and competence. Don't just call it a pastry shop. You can stop for a tasty lunch break, continue for a tea and start again with a candied orange peel. Traditional sweets such as cannoli, cream puffs cannot be missed but you can find exquisite macarons and nougats, almond paste. A service worthy of 10 and praise even when the place fills up and you have to wait your turn. Don't think about the calories, close your eyes and enjoy your favorite dessert.

The food is excellent, very varied every day, excellently prepared. The staff is a team of kind and helpful guys. For over a year I have been going for lunch between Saturday and Sunday, when I am in Syracuse: all the dishes, dog or fish, are excellent and there is not one that has ever disappointed. Also try the buccellati and the almond-based products. Every time it is a confirmation.
