Excellent bar with terrace service and under the trees. The granitas are very good, as are the brioches. The cannoli are filled to order with a choice of ricotta, chocolate, or cream. The flaky pastry is very crispy, though I prefer it a bit thin. Highly recommended.

Excellent almond granita, but terrible staff. The table was dirty, and the waitress "cleaned" it poorly with her hands, leaving it dirty, neglecting to welcome guests. The atmosphere was not very nice.

10/11/2025: Delicious food, I even managed to eat it gluten-free. I'm in a small town in Sicily, so I don't expect the staff to speak English. Authentic Sicilian food, where the locals eat. For me and my husband, it was a real hit. People who expect elegance and service using BBC English should think twice and go to the capital, not the outskirts. Anyone who wants to experience local flavors and atmosphere is in the best place. I recommend it ❤️

Ristorante La Locandiera di Palazzo Bellomo

15/05/2026: Antonello da Messina towers above all the rest, but it's a shame it's in such poor condition. I couldn't tell from the panels what great calamities it endured; it would be interesting...between the missing parts and the copious replacements, very little remains. The Angel's nose was badly restored; perhaps such a fundamental detail could have been given more consideration. Instead, the palace was greatly restored, the atmosphere intimate, and there was time to observe some interesting details.
15/04/2026: And where, in a museum gallery that's not even well-publicized and famous, do you find an Antonello da Messina that leaves you breathless? And let's not even talk about the rest of the paintings on display!
