10/06/2025: Frequento Delizia dei Sensi da un po’ di tempo e ho aspettato volutamente prima di scrivere questa recensione: volevo verificare che la qualità fosse costante. E posso confermare che lo è. La pizza è quella classica, preparata con un impasto tradizionale che risulta ben lievitato, digeribile e cotto alla perfezione. Gli ingredienti sono di ottima qualità, sempre abbondanti, tanto che la pizza spesso esce fuori dal piatto – una vera gioia per chi ama le porzioni generose. La location è semplice e senza fronzoli, ma curata: pulita, tranquilla e accogliente. Il personale è gentile, disponibile e attento alle esigenze del cliente, un valore aggiunto non scontato. Un plus che adoro: il terrazzino all’aperto, perfetto per godersi una bella serata in relax. Consiglio Delizia dei Sensi a chi cerca una buona pizza in un ambiente informale ma attento, dove sentirsi accolti e soddisfatti ogni volta.

19/03/2025: We often eat at this restaurant during work breaks. Homemade cuisine, quite extensive menu for both first and second courses. Excellent service, friendly and fast. Particularly recommended are the strips of meat with rocket and parmesan.

13/08/2025: Excellent quality ingredients and sophisticated pairings and recipes. Location: Good lighting but limited ambiance, no music, and tables quite close together. Overall, a good experience; we'd return to try new delicacies.

11/08/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to share my unfortunately negative experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant regarding their gluten-free options. When I ordered, I had chosen the meat menu, but was told it was "better" to opt for the fish menu, as it tasted better in a gluten-free version. I'm sure this wasn't the reason, but it was the most expensive. For dessert, I was initially offered a simple lemon sorbet, and in the end, I was the one who suggested the solution: just serve the ricotta from the cannoli, as they didn't have any gluten-free options. Bread in Michelin-starred restaurants is usually artisanal, homemade, or from quality bakeries. Here, however, I was served a Schaer multigrain loaf. The entrées I was served were also fewer than those my companion had. The pasta was supposed to be with anchovies, fennel, and breadcrumbs: mine arrived without the breadcrumbs. As a Sicilian, I know that this dish, without its crumbs, is completely meaningless. In other Michelin-starred restaurants I've been to, in these cases, they directly change the dish to maintain its overall quality, not simply eliminate the gluten-containing ingredient. I've been to several Michelin-starred restaurants and have never experienced such a lack of attention to gluten-free options. This isn't a polemic: the staff was very kind, but there's plenty of room for improvement when it comes to gluten-free options. The price isn't ridiculous, and for this very reason, I expect the same experience and attention to detail given to all customers.

16/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant with some friends of mine and we waited to pay for about half an hour because at that time the owner is busy doing something else even though he was passing in front of us and totally ignoring us. Very good food for goodness sake but the service very poor

07/09/2025: Our experience at this bar was completely ruined by the owner's behavior. There was a small misunderstanding on our part, but his reaction was completely disproportionate: instead of clarifying the situation politely, he responded in a very unpleasant and unprofessional manner. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A real shame, because the atmosphere could have been pleasant, but the treatment we received left us with a terrible memory.

27/08/2025: The Lady Lusya Hotel is a magical place, in an excellent location, close to everything wonderful in this part of the island. The owner is a family member, she welcomed us, pampered us, and loved us right away, always attentive to our every need... I could go on, but to say that it's a place where the soul finds peace is among the most suitable. We'll be back to be pampered... as soon as possible.

12/08/2025: Authentic Sicilian food, very good service

12/08/2025: I give one star because I don't know how much less I can give! We arrive around 10 pm, the lady says, "Table for two ready right away." Fifteen minutes pass and we ask how long we'll have to wait. The lady who kept calling me "love" says, "Don't worry, it'll be free now!" Yes, we definitely wanted to know how long we'll have to wait. Finally, after 30 minutes, a table is free. I immediately point it out to the lady, and she says, "Did you see?" Another 10 minutes pass and the staff continues to do other things, not setting our table. The lady invites us to sit, "We'll set the table right away." After five minutes, she brings the tablecloth, then stop. They continue to clear tables, setting tables where no one was sitting, ignoring us. After five, ten, and fifteen minutes, we get up and leave.

19/06/2025: Small but well-kept place. We ate outside. The tapas menu is interesting and well presented. I had jamon serrano with toasted tomato bread and a small beef tartare served in a savory brioche with mustard mayonnaise and cucumber sauce that I found original and delicious.

27/04/2025: Situato fuori dal centro storico locale capiente e gestito con molta cortesia. Punto di forza gli antipasti: presente a menù una combinazione per 2 di antipasti freddi e caldi dal carpaccio di spada al baccalà al polpo alle sarde. Ottimo.

12/08/2025: Stunning location, a historic building right next to the Cathedral of San Nicolo. I stayed in a very spacious room with a view of the cathedral. This allowed me to comfortably watch the evening shows from my room. (Ermal Mezza concert, a wedding, street performers, etc.) The staff was all kind and welcoming, always available and attentive. 07/09/2025: I went to this café to try their famous granita because of the excellent reviews. Honestly, as a Sicilian, I have to say that yes, it's a good granita, but like many others, nothing out of this world. I find the price unjustified; €23 for two granitas and two brioches is, I think, a bit high. In short: much more touristy than I thought. The review is clearly only for the granitas.

07/09/2025: I arrived with extremely high expectations, I can honestly say that I was not completely satisfied, small internal environment and with an unpleasant and not fresh smell in the room, quick and very formal service, food mahhhhh Savoy cake hard hard hard, discreet flavor, but impossible to eat it without making a thousand crumbs and this left me perplexed is this its consistency or is it a sign of not freshness mahhhh, it is not listed on the menu in fact I ordered it at the counter, white chocolate and mandarin cake too sweet, very good however the almond milk, in fact I had seconds because the glasses are "clever" much smaller than the classic ones, in the end a famous pastry bar, probably one of the most famous in Sicily, but which does not convey in my very humble opinion the Sicilian tradition, I had more the sensation of an assembly line, everything very cold, very fast, in short the Sicilian coffee has not remained in my heart, but I promise myself to return and try the Savoy cake again for clear up my doubts about the consistency and possibly change the score, average price, see you next time.

13/08/2025: Quality not to be disputed. Prices are too high for a modest fishmonger in the city. A first course, a fried dish, a small bottle of water, and a glass of wine cost €40. Excessive! The receipt shows the total amount without differentiating between the various costs, and the price list is nowhere to be seen.

01/07/2025: I was passing through before returning to my country. I give one star because I paid the grand sum of €57 for 1kg of shrimp and 1kg of octopus. Extremely exaggerated considering that it is located in a seaside place where fresh and good fish can be found everywhere. Unfortunately, I am not experienced with the fish market but once I got home, my father, an expert, confirmed that he was overpaid. Considering that by removing the skins and heads from the shrimp, 200g of pulp remains at most. I will absolutely not go back and I will also make my acquaintances avoid it.
