05/06/2026: Very good authentic pizza baked in wood oven. We enjoyed it along with beer in the piazzeta behind the pizzeria. Owner and staff are very nice and friendly. I recommend the pizzeria if you want pizza to go or enjoy it at tabel, fair prices.

01/06/2026: One word: scammers. They have 2 different menus: one for locals/italians and one for strangers. Ask them for the italian menu and not for the english menu. Yesterday I went to order some pizza for take away and they gave me italian menu. After a few seconds they took the menu out of my hand, hid it under the table and gave me another menu in English with higher prices. When I had to pay, the prices were for the English menu. When I brought it to their attention they apologized because the English menu was for the restaurant. Today I went to order pizza(margherita and diavola) for takeaway again and they wanted to charge me again with the prices for the English menu. The margherita is 5 euro on the italian menu, while on the english menu it's 6 euro. The diavola is 6.5 euro on the italian menu, while on the english menu it's 8 euro. The pizza is very good, but they are scammers.

14/05/2026: Located on the very central Matteotti Avenue, Viola is a little coffee house and ice cream parlour. I tried only the ice cream, so my review is limited only to that product. The choice of flavours is ample enough and covers all what you expect from a Sicilian ice cream maker. The quality of the ice cream is good, even if I wouldn't rate at the very top: a slightly stronger character would be much more welcome! Service is OK
