31/08/2025: I booked catering for August 16, 2025, at this venue, with a kids' menu featuring panelle cutlets and fries, and chicken wings. We took it all to the beach and had a great party. I received several compliments on the quality of the food at a fair price.

10/07/2025: Complete with everything, a place immersed in vintage, for lunch you can find everything from pasta to sandwiches to dessert: basically, everything is complete.

24/05/2026: What a mess. It was Sunday afternoon around dinnertime, though, and naturally quite busy. Unfortunately, they couldn't seem to get things organized somehow. As a result, the friendliness you would expect is also compromised. After waiting for half an hour, we practically had to beg to place our order. At several tables, I saw the dissatisfaction written all over people's faces. Hopefully (for this restaurant), this is just a one-off, and we simply arrived at the wrong time. I had the spaghetti with mussels and it was more than delicious, superb!! My wife doesn't eat fish and there wasn't much choice in that regard. She chose the chicken fillet with fries; this wasn't really anything special. But we are indeed at a seafood restaurant, so we shouldn't complain about that.

23/05/2026: We arrived at 9:30 PM (after booking), but by 10:00 PM they hadn't even brought us menus. The waiters pretended not to see us. We got up and left, pointing this out to the blonde Ukrainian woman at the cash register, who shrugged indifferently. Kudos to the entire staff. NEVER AGAIN!

29/04/2026: Located at the north entrance to Syracuse, it's superbly run by the owners, who offer a comprehensive lunch menu with hot food and delicious rotisserie. The service is complemented by friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is spacious, with tables on the veranda, though highly recommended for a work break!

12/03/2026: You leave Syracuse and stop for a coffee. You'll find excellent breakfasts, friendly staff, a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and good prices. You'll want to come back.

17/06/2026: Excellent Seafood, Cocktails & Atmosphere — One Small Disappointment at the End We absolutely loved our experience at Almyra. From the moment we arrived, the female server was exceptional. She helped us with our reservation, patiently explained the menu items, and was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout the evening. The other servers were equally attentive and professional, helping create a very positive dining experience. The food is certainly on the expensive side, but the quality justifies it. We ordered raw oysters, ceviche, and a seafood platter featuring a variety of fresh raw fish and seafood. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The standout surprise of the evening was the mojito. I've had mojitos throughout the Caribbean, and this was genuinely one of the best I've ever tasted. The location is also fantastic, right on the harbor with beautiful outdoor seating and a stylish, well-designed atmosphere. The overall vibe was relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5-star experience is what happened at the end. The woman in the black dress who handled our payment was noticeably cold and unfriendly. After such warm and professional service from the rest of the staff, it felt out of place. There was no smile, no thank you, no goodbye, and no sense that our business was appreciated. It left us ending an otherwise wonderful evening on a slightly disappointing note. That said, we would absolutely return for the food, cocktails, location, and excellent service from the rest of the team.

09/06/2026: Our first dinner at this restaurant, upon arrival in Sicily, was magical: the restaurant and its spacious terrace overlook a charming little harbor, allowing us to enjoy the fresh, tranquil atmosphere. We let the waiters guide our selection of dishes and found ourselves savoring elaborate Sicilian specialties. The dishes were beautiful and delicious, everything perfect! The wine list is extensive, with a special mention for the Catarratto Kelbi (Cantina Pellegrino), a true delight! The final bill was in keeping with the location and the offerings, no surprises. Definitely worth a try.

14/12/2025: The owners are delightful, and their passion has been churning out excellent sweet and savory products since the 1980s. They definitely use top-quality ingredients and are then professionally prepared. Highly recommended; try it and believe it!

The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was fantastic, with locally sourced ingredients that added a touch of authenticity and freshness to the dishes. The choice to use local products was greatly appreciated. It was a real pleasure to stay at this B&B, which offers everything you could want for a relaxing and authentic vacation. Overall, the B&B offers a high-quality hospitality experience, with an absolutely excellent value. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Porto Palo. We will definitely be back!

03/08/2025: Not far from Portopalo di Capo Passero and about 5 km from Isola delle Correnti and Carratois beach, this charming B&B is nestled in a large private garden. Rosa and Giuseppe, the owners, take care of everything with dedication, professionalism, and love. The property offers separate bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms with ground-floor windows, making it convenient for those with limited mobility. All rooms include a color TV, refrigerator with two bottles of water included, ceiling fan, and air conditioning. The bathrooms are equipped with every comfort, including showers, toilets, bidets, sinks, and hairdryers. The taps produce slightly salty, non-potable water. The mattresses are a bit too "orthopedic," and those unaccustomed to sleeping on hard surfaces may find it difficult. Bed linens and towels are provided, changed every three days or upon request. Breakfast, included in the stay, is served outside in the garden under a pleasant canopy, complete with pastries, hot and cold drinks, and savory dishes, all personally prepared by Rosa. The quiet, fenced garden is locked at night with a gate (keys are provided). Parking spaces for five cars are also available in the garden, covered by free beach tarps, which are not always easy to find. The garden also features clotheslines for guest use, which are very convenient and useful for beachgoers who want to dry wet laundry. For those seeking safety, tranquility, and comfort, this B&B is the ideal place.

05/06/2026: Very good authentic pizza baked in wood oven. We enjoyed it along with beer in the piazzeta behind the pizzeria. Owner and staff are very nice and friendly. I recommend the pizzeria if you want pizza to go or enjoy it at tabel, fair prices.

01/06/2026: One word: scammers. They have 2 different menus: one for locals/italians and one for strangers. Ask them for the italian menu and not for the english menu. Yesterday I went to order some pizza for take away and they gave me italian menu. After a few seconds they took the menu out of my hand, hid it under the table and gave me another menu in English with higher prices. When I had to pay, the prices were for the English menu. When I brought it to their attention they apologized because the English menu was for the restaurant. Today I went to order pizza(margherita and diavola) for takeaway again and they wanted to charge me again with the prices for the English menu. The margherita is 5 euro on the italian menu, while on the english menu it's 6 euro. The diavola is 6.5 euro on the italian menu, while on the english menu it's 8 euro. The pizza is very good, but they are scammers.

28/03/2026: I went for pizza. There were eight of us, and it took 10 minutes to bring everyone a pizza. I even asked for the first pizza to be reheated because it was cold. The price was incredibly high, almost €20 for a poor-quality pizza, like a frozen supermarket pizza. It was freezing. Only the waiter was friendly. I won't be back.
