09/07/2025: Unfortunately the paste wasn't to my satisfaction. A few of the small pasta selection was vegan and I made the mistake of choosing one of those. It tasted like paper. Since everything was served on paper and the waiter was pretty rude the prices were a bit excessive.

01/07/2025: Very very disappointing... First of all, it is warned on the menu that the plates are made of cardboard as well as the glasses for the environment. I don't see what is ecological in throwing away the plates and cutlery in cardboard at each place setting instead of washing the dishes... Then, you have to choose a type of pasta then the sauce that goes with it. We had basil pesto sauce which tasted like spinach and the pasta was swimming in water. No taste, unsalted dish, etc. Expeditious waitresses, not very smiley, etc. We really do not recommend. Forced to go eat something else after because we were still very hungry! In addition, as soon as we had finished, barely had we put down our cutlery the waitress immediately collected our dishes, too expeditious when there were only 3 tables full...

16/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant with some friends of mine and we waited to pay for about half an hour because at that time the owner is busy doing something else even though he was passing in front of us and totally ignoring us. Very good food for goodness sake but the service very poor

06/07/2025: We planned to visit the gallery, coming from far away. Unfortunately it was closed and the website did not indicate this closure. When we got there we read a sign attached to the door. Disappointment.

06/07/2025: Cold cold cold air conditioning!!! Oh and the art is lovely. I really liked the 3 antique carriages and the many sarcophagi. We entered on Sunday morning so it was FREE! The palace has been restored but does not have any frescoes or furnishings. This was definitely worth our while to escape the heat and see some interesting religious art.

29/03/2025: Really nice place with great food and super friendly staff! :) we bought some mortadella, ham, mozzarella and bread. Everything was really tasty!

31/05/2025: The environment is ok if you go there to get drunk. I had one of the worst pizzas in Italy ever. The pizza looked so simple and okish but the base was salty as hell. Overall the taste was really disappointing. Like, how can you ruin a simple margherita? My wife took Carbonara, her comments "we get better carbonara on cheap shops in Finland". Refer to the pics. Edit over owner's reply: Getting food a bit late was least of our problem. We drove long way to try this place and we had patience to wait. Taste of the food was the real problem, salty food might be fine with someone who is drunk but not for sober taste buds. I'm a pizza chef as a hobbyist and on my worst batch I have never made dough this salty. Sorry, not trying to be rude but accept criticism when it actually is the case. Environment of the restaurant was very nice and wait was not a problem for us.

22/04/2025: The most expensive store calamari I have ever eaten in my life. 1kg 29 euros. + 150 g of prawn salad for 12 euros. That's 41 euros. In the squid, during cooking, I discovered an unpleasant bonus: sand. These are scammers. They see a tourist and cheat all the way. Don't go to them. Buy better in store. Without sand and 4 times cheaper.

20/04/2025: Consigliato da amici. Tavoli e sedie spartani, tutto in plastica, tovagliato di carta, ma si sa, è una pescheria e non un ristorante. Pesce sicuramente fresco ma quantità e prezzi da ristorante di fascia medio-alta. Ovviamente questo stride con l’ambiente e con il servizio, lento e non particolarmente gentile. Le portate nulla di particolare. Insomma, a parte il pesce fresco (ci mancherebbe che non lo fosse in una pescheria) è un posto che, a mio avviso, potrebbe benissimo restare pescheria; la trasformazione in un ristorante richiede preparazione, competenza e adeguamento della location. Ovviamente non ci tornerò e non lo consiglierò

22/05/2025: During our stay in Marzamemi, my wife and I went here for our morning cappuccino and pastry every morning for 4 days straight. They had such beautiful pastries both sweet and savory. I wanted to try them all but I only have one stomach. I also got to try cremolate there which was delicious. They had great gelato as well. The service was friendly and helpful. It was a relaxing experience to start our morning there each day.

06/06/2025: If you want a granita (large selection of flavors), a brioche, a coffee, a freshly squeezed orange juice, or a beer, come to Pippo! It's good, the owner is friendly, it's typically Sicilian. In short, don't hesitate!

02/07/2025: Très bon restaurant familial, tous les plats sont préparés au fur et à mesure des commandes! Tous les produits sont frais et bio! Et le tout a minima végétarien!!

30/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo piccolo ristorante due sere a fila con le nostre figlie…e credo che l’espressione “come a casa” sia la migliore! Oltre ad essere molto originale come arredamento, ha a disposizione piccole distrazioni per i bambini, il menù è accattivante ma non hanno problemi a fare dei cambiamenti in base ai gusti degli ospiti grandi e piccoli! Sapori e profumi veri, cucinati sul momento, tanta gentilezza e cordialità! …e poi dopo le colazioni siciliane qualcosa di leggero e green a cena ci sta bene!!

29/06/2025: Very nice beach but the sea is a slap in the face to Sicilian beauty. Located in one of the worst parts of the coast. The photos published on the site do not represent reality at all. Very dirty sea and practically gray sand. Terrible. Real photos of the beach should be published in order to guarantee users an informed choice.
