09/01/2026: Five stars again for Pizzuteria on my second review for you. Kindness, speed, and quality. But...gentlemen, never forget to keep a 1.5-liter bottle of Coke at home, otherwise you'll pay 5 euros at Pizzuteria!! Simply insulting the human mind, the owners are sparing a response to the review because nothing justifies this price. No increase in materials, no increase in labor simplifies the motivation for such a speculative gesture; I can't think of any other adjective at the moment.
You'll surely remember my face the next time I visit, and I'll be ready to discuss the matter if you deem it appropriate.

25/03/2026: The lady at the cash register is incredibly rude. I was truly shocked by the treatment; I've traveled far and wide and NEVER had anything like this happened to me. I truly don't understand why she constantly complains as if she were doing us customers a favor? I come in to pay my bill and she yells at me, huffs, complains, all annoyed, bangs her fists on the counter, moans of pain coming out of her with every payment, all upset and angry if you pay for a very large bill in two parts. She was on the verge of tears with rage and even told us so! I didn't think I'd ever find people like this again, who in 2026 STILL don't understand paying by card. She had to carry out operations so quickly and easily that even a child could do it without a murmur. I'll never come here again just because I can't stand being treated this way after paying for a service. (We were a large table and she had something for each of us who went to pay.) Do people know that no one forces them to do this job? It's a shame, the place is very beautiful and quaint. I had the pleasure of eating and drinking there. My advice, however, is to remove that lady from the cash register or at least not have her in a role that involves interacting with customers.

Everything is very well cared for in the smallest details!
The structure is family-run and I have been frequenting it for many years; since 2025 the Datterino restaurant is no longer active but you can still eat excellent dishes cooked by Mrs. Ilaria.
Coming here is like coming home and if you expect a mass place then it is not the ideal place but if you expect a lot of kindness, love in doing things and a lot of tranquility then you are in the right place.

17/06/2026: Excellent. The best bar in the area, hands down. Sublime breakfasts. A first-rate pastry shop. Also commendable is that in years of frequenting them, they've never forgotten to give me a receipt, which in these parts is considered alien.
16/06/2026: During our vacation, it became our go-to breakfast spot!
The croissants are truly excellent, always fresh, and with a wide selection.
The gelato is also good.
The place is well-kept and the staff is friendly.
I recommend it!

12/01/2026: Terrible pizza that ended up in the trash!!
We ordered at 7:45 PM (the lady assured us we'd receive the pizza by 9:15 PM at the latest), we waited, and it was 9:30 PM. We waited some more, then called the first time for 9:45 PM, then around 9:50 PM. They told us the pizzas were being prepared and would be ready soon (the person who answered the phone looked like a young man and was quite confused and completely unsure of what he was saying). Another 10 minutes passed, and we called back to make sure the pizzas had at least come out of the oven. The guy told us we'd called him 10 minutes ago, and we told him the pizzas were already 45 minutes late. He then asked if we wanted to cancel the delivery, and we told him that after an hour of waiting, we simply wanted the pizzas delivered. At 10:20 PM, these pizzas finally arrived: the cream had all dripped out of the box. We took the pizzas out, and they were small and raw. We ate about half the pizza (not to mention that we had to spend 10 minutes just cleaning up the dripping cream everywhere). Once they cooled, they became rubbery and impossible to cut.
They ended up in the bin. A terrible experience.

Delicious desserts. I had one of the best cannoli of my life.
Superb and fast staff.
Personally, I wasn't sure what to order given the variety of Sicilian desserts and more.
Top prices
I recommend the mini gelato and the babà.

17/05/2026: The pizza is good, but not the best I've ever had (though it's excellent if you're in the area). The chips with the skin on are worth the trip. They're really good. The place is nice, but the inside area could be improved, as it smells a bit like cured meats. I recommend eating outside instead; it's very nice.

The price was absolutely in line with what was offered.

06/05/2026: This was our final restaurant whilst in Sicily.
We were driving back to Catania to fly home and stopped off in Fontaine Bianche.
The restaurant adjoins the beach from an elevated position giving stunning views of the ocean and cliffs.
We were seated quickly and made our order of Pacheri with mixed shellfish. Which was delicious with a sauce to die for involving pistachios and tomato's.
All this was enjoyed in lovely bright modern surroundings.
A truly great find.!!
You must visit if you are in the area.
