We celebrated our anniversary at Zio Agatino on the island... wonderful view... delicious food... there wasn't much crowding because it was Tuesday lunchtime... fresh fish... kind and competent staff... I recommend it 👍

We had booked on the bridge and we were not satisfied without saying anything, even though I had a reservation made, the staff was, let's say, average to mediocre, not to mention the dishes were not very rich, in short if I had to give a rating I would give 5/30 I expected better

First, we got a brief look at the mussel processing. Then we wanted an aperitif and, of course, had to try the mussels and oysters! You can't get any fresher than that. 😅 The waiter was even able to tell us about the mussel farming!
That was very interesting! And to top it all off, we enjoyed the panorama of Syracuse with the delicious wine... it couldn't have been more perfect!

I'm giving it three stars simply for the beautiful location.
Otherwise, the food was poor.
I ordered spaghetti with clams, and it was simply pasta with olive oil and clams.
The mixed roast fish was frozen, not fresh.
The octopus tasted strange!
I was disappointed.

We went to Zio Agatino a couple of nights ago and ordered the dish pictured, a trio of raw seafood, seafood salad, and mixed fried fish. Everything was excellent and enough for two, as recommended on the menu. We were looked after by a very polite and professional waiter. To top it all off, it's worth remembering that the restaurant is truly on the seafront, and the outside tables overlook the water. An experience worth repeating.
