29/06/2025: This is a small location in the middle of nature! Everything is very well cared for in the smallest details! The structure is family-run and I have been frequenting it for many years; since 2025 the Datterino restaurant is no longer active but you can still eat excellent dishes cooked by Mrs. Ilaria. Coming here is like coming home and if you expect a mass place then it is not the ideal place but if you expect a lot of kindness, love in doing things and a lot of tranquility then you are in the right place.

20/10/2025: The food was fantastic with traditional fried rice balls and fried ricotta cheese. The owner Paolo was very friendly. We had a great time dining at his famous little restaurant. BTW, the restaurant will be closed next week (the end of October) because he is going to pick lemons in his farm.

15/10/2025: Apparently didn’t have the greatest experience being solo but the management had my prior review removed. So much for free speech and expression, guess that no longer exists!

06/01/2026: The prices were too high (I paid the same as I do in Milan for a first course: €15). Unfortunately, I found very little that was local or Sicilian; even the tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage were actually just mushrooms, and you had to search for the sausage. Disappointing.

This is a definite plus.

27/11/2025: I'm in Floridia for a school competition, and my wife and I stopped at this café, inspired by the positive reviews, to which I'm happy to add my own. The croissants and treccina were truly excellent, in terms of fragrance, filling, and temperature. The latte and macchiato were also excellent, and well-served. The bartender was extremely kind and not at all intrusive. The place is spotless and bright. I recommend it to anyone passing through.

05/12/2025: If you’re in Sicily, you need to drive here for a drink. Amazing cocktails and food. Their menu is designed like a zine which looks beautiful.

13/11/2025: Tourist trap. Supposedly creative cocktails… nothing special, absolutely nothing special… and especially the giant ice cube that takes up more than three-quarters of the glass, for €12. Of course, no aperitif is served. Overrated menu. All this to say: Avoid at all costs!

The wait times are average, but it's obvious that with such quality, they have millions of customers, and we have to wait if we want to eat well. Staff 🔝 Silvia and Stefania, who work at the counter, are professional and always available, even when it's very crowded. Enzo, as mentioned above, cooks excellently; what more could we ask for?
