Retrogusto In Avola

It is a self-service restaurant on Viale Lido, 1 km from the sea, open only for lunch, so it is not possible to book because you sit down just long enough to eat your meal. Very convenient for workshops and tourists for example. The menu changes from day to day and ranges from the great classics of Italian cuisine (lasagne, baked pasta, etc.) to fish-based first and second courses. We also found some roast meat. Wide choice of side dishes. Ideal for a quick lunch without too many pretensions.

Excellent restaurant, with front parking, very convenient. The interior has a marine decor which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. The environment fits perfectly with the Mediterranean taste of the dishes served. When "tasting" the dishes (given the generous portions) you can enjoy the excellent raw materials, including fresh fish!😋 During dinner you can feel a relaxing atmosphere and the service is punctual. I will definitely be back✨️

It's a shame that we discovered you on the last day of our stay in Avola. You are the best restaurant in the area. My partner and I only had 1 dinner, but how we would have liked to taste ALL the vs. proposals! Quality food, generous portions, clean, welcoming place, courteous, attentive and at the same time discreet staff. Easy parking. Honest prices. We couldn't wish for anything better. Thank you!

Excellent swordfish rolls and abundant and crunchy fried calamari.

The dishes are special and plentiful. Excellent and courteous service. I recommend to anyone who appreciates good fish.

Capitati x caso ... ci fermiamo ... che dire ... mangiato molto bene... porzioni generose ... buon rapporto qualità prezzo ... servizio giovane e simpatico ... stiamo qua ad Avola x un bel po di tempo ...quindi provato anche altri posti .... ma al Retrogusto ci torniamo di nuovo molto volentieri . Abbiamo scoperto io e mia moglie questo locale su consiglio di amici. Una piacevole sorpresa per la qualità del cibo, la cordialità e la simpatia di Michele in primis, perché da solo si occupa dei propri ospiti e poi dai suoi genitori in cucina che indubbiamente dopo anni di esperienza producono dei piatti veramente meritevoli di complimenti. Si definisce gastronomia , però con una qualità di servizio e di piatti da invidia rispetto ai ristoranti della zona. Bravi veramente e poi danno il meglio di se i genitori in cucina se Michele li allieta con le sue playlist musicali in sottofondo!!!! Prezzi onesti per ciò che mangi

Posto magnifico. Michele vi accoglierà come se foste di famiglia, i piatti sono meravigliosi, tutti !! Da non perdere le alici fritte con cipolla rossa.....a presto , spero !!

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante basandoci su altre recensioni e me siamo stati molto soddisfatti! Locale adiacente a una strada con parcheggi. Servizio veloce, piatti di ottimo gusto, lo consiglierei!
