28/02/2026: The food calamari griliatta and spaghetti pomodoro were excellent, the Sicilian draft beer was also good. The gentleman who served us was a bit emotionless and indifferent, he didn't even thank us for the tip (in contrast to our experience in many other Italian restaurants), the other staff, a lady and an older gentleman, were pleasant and attentive. The view is beautiful.

10/01/2026: I ordered a pizza for 8:30 and it arrived at 10:30. The pizza was completely empty and burned. Totally disappointed.

17/12/2025: Friendly staff, a place to forget, more than 100 people in about 70 square meters with a table that was like a stadium with shepherd's whistles when he calls the sheep, pizza round to forget only pizza with wiustels and Margherita and a few strips of mortadella and normally at 18 euros per person, I forgot the French fries

19/08/2025: Terrible experience… We had made a takeaway reservation for three pizzas at 8:30, we arrived there at that time and they delivered it to us 1 and a half hours later, I must point out that we stood there watching everything they did and the pizza chefs wasting time eating and laughing, the owner gave them the order to have pizzas prepared early just because they were his friends or family… disgusting, I should add that they took advantage of it because they made the pizza small, it was something not to be taken lightly.

04/08/2025: To eat here, you'll need to arm yourself with willpower and tranquilizers beforehand: the wait times are inordinately long and unjustified, especially considering that subsequent orders are often processed first, or that priority is given to takeaways rather than dine-in customers. The pizza isn't bad, but it's not worth the long wait.

11/09/2025: We only had a mixed seafood appetizer, two glasses of wine, and two small Cokes. We paid €144. Considering the size of the portion, and the fact that the calamari were frozen without us being told, it doesn't bode well. The staff were very friendly.

18/01/2026: I returned to this pizzeria after a while, and I honestly found the behavior of the waitress who served us unacceptable (black hair and dark glasses). I swear I've never had such a bad experience. I KINDLY asked for a replacement glass because, even though I hadn't used it, it was dirty. The response was incredibly rude. Leaving that aside, I asked for a small change to the pizza: that the basil pesto be removed. Of course, they brought me a pizza with 3 kg of basil pesto on top, and it was loaded with salt, so I left it all. The fries were completely raw. I don't know what happened to this place because in the past years, I remember having always eaten very well... what a shame.

26/12/2025: Terrible experience, absolutely avoid. It's the worst place ever. There's nothing behind the name: just rudeness, arrogance, and a total lack of respect from the staff. Zero professionalism, zero politeness, zero customer service. It's unclear how people like this can work in public. They take no responsibility: constant delays, cold food, poor hygiene, and total disorganization. Even the delivery drivers frequently complain about their disrespectful behavior and the consistently late preparation of orders. A neglected, unpleasant, and disgusting place. Not recommended in every way.

19/08/2025: If I could give zero stars I would, the place itself is also beautiful on the seafront, as soon as we arrived we had to absorb the complaints of the waiter Emanuele, immediately afterwards the apparently kind but very authoritative owner shows up with the depressed waiter, we order two appetizers and two fried dishes, one thinks that being in Sicily and on the seafront the fish, regardless of the price, is of excellent quality and size, instead in my opinion they take the scraps to cook them as best as possible, then if we want to talk about the oil for frying they certainly haven't changed it since December 1st January, unfortunately, not knowing the place we were ripped off in everything even economically 80 € is stolen, forget it, stay away and have a loaf of bread with mortadella which is better

21/09/2025: An insult to Italian food, the worst meal I’ve had in 4 months of travelling through Europe. Extremely overpriced too. Such a shame for such a glorious island.

21/09/2025: The apartment is in an exceptional location, but they didn't have the reservation made two months before. It took a lot of nerves and discussion with the manager The restaurant was a joke, disappointing food, not good at all and very expensive and bad service

10/09/2025: Historic bakery in Torre Faro, a charming village and hamlet of Messina. During the summer, many locals and vacationers enjoy the aromas produced by Panificio Arena. Seeing is believing! Just take a number and after a short wait you can order from the menu. From the various types of bread, to the pastries and rustic pastries that can be made to order. The summer season is almost over, but I plan on returning, drawn by that smell of freshly baked bread. The staff, managed by the owners, are very attentive and are happy to offer advice on possible purchases. I repeat: Seeing is believing!

23/09/2025: Staff needs to be reconsidered. The gentleman at the pool repeatedly scolded our children even though they weren't doing anything except getting their feet wet. The food is good, but a little more courtesy wouldn't go amiss.

19/08/2025: Sloppiness, disorganization, interminable waits: an hour for two salads. Two people managing nearly 50 covers. Meanwhile, they try to ease the tension by interacting with neighboring tables, where customers discover their order has been lost. Unfortunately, the situation worsens year after year, and I wonder why there's no desire to reorganize the service or at least try to be a little more welcoming to customers. If the problem is a character issue, then it's truly serious.

27/11/2025: I don't understand the bad reviews. We ate here twice and had no problems. The food is very delicious. The pizza is thin crust, but that's how good it was. The carbonara is divine! I recommend it! The prices are also reasonable.
