24/08/2024: The place has a lot of potential but nothing is used. Garbage on the terrace stinks so much. We had to pay 26 euro’s for 4 coca cola’s, that’s pretty sick.

03/08/2024: Atmosfera bellissima, la vista panoramica meravigliosa e incantevole, la musica rilassante. Personale (ragazzo)gentile,accogliente e molto disponibile, che ci ha reso il nostro tempo di pranzo facendo sentirci a casa. Bella esperienza, da rifare! Grazie.

10/06/2024: Come avevo già promesso personalmente, lascio una bellissima e meritata recensione a questo locale. Contesto tranquillo e raccolto, non "turistico" e "commerciale". Sin dalla prima sera di soggiorno in quel di Canneto, su consiglio di chi ci ha affittato l'appartamento per la vacanza, io ed il mio amico decidiamo di recarci in questo locale. Vuoi per la vicinanza, vuoi perché avevamo percepito "vibrazioni positive". E ci avevamo visto giusto. Veniamo accolti in maniera molto gentile e premurosa. E, soprattutto, nei confronti del mio amico celiaco, c'è stata una grande premura e, soprattutto, una grande preparazione nella presentazione del piatto ed, eventualmente, di alternative (cosa che in locali più centrali e/o che si spacciano più "alla moda" di Lipari non abbiamo riscontrato). Il personale tutto è davvero molto attento e gentile. Qui vengono soddisfatti tutti i gusti. Pietanze preparate e presentate in maniera generosa e, soprattutto, amorevole, con quel tocco di "casa" che solo la Sicilia ti può dare. Lo consiglio per gruppi, per coppie, per amici. Per una serata che sa davvero "di casa". In un contesto tranquillo, dove si può parlare con i propri commensali in maniera distesa e confidenziale, mai "urlata" e confusa. Il giorno che tornerò alle Eolie, tornerò sicuramente al Calandra. Per un saluto e per degustare i loro piatti. Perché, davvero, io mi sono sentito a casa e a mio agio. 09/06/2024: Ottimo ristorante, davanti al mare,dove si ha la possibilità di mangiare sia piatti tipici e pesce del giorno che pizza Informazione importante: pizza senza glutine Personale attento, preparato, cortese che ti fa sentire a casa tua Assolutamente da provare!

16/06/2024: Grande qualità, cortesia e soprattutto bontà al prezzo che ti sorprende. Peppe è un ospite gradevole e Tiziana una cuoca eccezionale; ho mangiato un arancino (all'inizio e alla fine del pranzo) che se lo assagiasse Barbieri arrossirebbe e rinuncerebbe al suo cappello da chef. Croccante fuori, riso al dente al nero di seppie con un cuore morbido di gambero rosso di Mazara e burrata. Una squisitezza, una esplosione di sapori che sicuramente ci vedrà protagonisti nel deliziare la gola nel prossimo futuro!

09/07/2024: Very accommodating as had not booked. Sat in the piazza with brilliant music and such a lovely atmosphere. Food really good although chips did come out well before the main meal. Very friendly staff and a complimentary limoncello to end. Will definitely come back

07/07/2024: Terrible tourist trap. The location is nice, well located in the main square of Letojanni, where you can sit, relax, and watch what happens around it. The server that takes care of the drinks was wonderful. And then all downhill. The arrogant "Maitre" took ages to take the order, was unpolite, often looking elsewhere when speaking to us. And then the food.... McDonald's? Yes, tasty of course, but overpriced. And charging extras for everything (take a look at the check!1). Not recommended at all, what a disservice to Italy's wonderful gastronomy.

30/07/2024: Horrible restaurant, stay away! Very unfriendly staff, high prices, low quality - tourist rip off!!! Terrible restaurant, very unfriendly service, outrageously expensive and the ice cream was disgusting. 🤮🤮🤮 Don't go there!!!

11/04/2024: The owner speaks a little English, but the coffee is terrible and more expensive than anywhere else in Italy. 9.50€ for 2 very average Americanos and a glass of orange juice. No price listed, so I assume everyone gets a different one.

02/04/2024: Se uno non ha fame e soldi da buttare questo e' il posto giusto. Forse avevano finito la mozzarella o non si usa....la pizza era vuota cotta male, crudetta, e per finire carissima!!! 12 euro per il nulla che poi per 2 pizze e una bottiglia di acqua sono diventate 33 euro!!!mai piu' nemmeno se e' l'ultimo posto al mondo

20/03/2024: Si mangia sicuramente bene, ma bisogna andarci solo se hai molto tempo a disposizione ,pranzo o cena che sia ,feriale o festivo Infatti che sia dovuto alla tempistica degli ordini o di altro, capita di vedere arrivare i piatti ad altri tavoli anche se arrivati dopo .Per il resto il locale si presenta bene.

20/08/2024: I discovered this place by accident. I stayed on the beach (La Punta) until late with my husband and we decided to stop and eat a grilled sandwich. The place is on the beach. All outdoors with a wonderful view of the strait. It's very, very casual which was fine for us as we were still wet from the sea water. The sandwich was delicious. We in particular had a sausage burger with grilled vegetables. Really excellent. You could feel that the ingredients were fresh. We paired two beers (Corona) and enjoyed the view of the tip with this delicious food. Honest prices. The beer is a little expensive but not unlike other places I've been. Beer in Italy costs a lot compared to other places like the United States. Very good service. I would recommend to anyone.

09/09/2023: Good pizza, 5 stars. Service 3. Poor half-metre fried fish, lots of snot and chips and not much other fish. I asked for oil and lemon, nothing at all.

11/08/2024: They don't bring bread to the table, poor quality wine, only one choice. The condiments are single portion. We ate grilled fish, very fresh and cooked well. small portions. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to have the first course. inadequate value for money.

06/07/2024: Decisamente una trappola per turisti. Due granite per la modica cifra di 8 euro. Il problema è che una delle due era riempita a metá del bicchiere o poco più. La granita ai gelsi ci è anche piaciuta, mentre quella al limone proprio no! Ad ogni modo non ci tornerei! Abbiamo mangiato in altri luoghi della Sicilia granite migliori a prezzi piú onesti.

03/07/2024: Come ospite dell'Hotel Ossidiana mi hanno offerto l'aperitivo strombolano, un piattino con qualche crocchetta di verdure e due tartine ai peperoni sott'olio servito con un cocktail composto prevalentemente di ghiaccio. Il personale è molto gentile e il servizio è veloce ma, conoscendo lo spettacolare buffet della colazione dell'albergo, mi aspettavo un piatto di qualità equivalente.

13/08/2024: It has always been expensive but this morning €2 for a coffee glass with a bit of cream pissed me off. 2.2 the granita costs, it seems like legalized extortion to me.

09/08/2024: The products, compared to the competition in the area, are decent but the prices worthy of places like Taormina. Unfortunately there are some sore points and among these are the enormously inadequate price-quality ratio, the lack of attention of the shop assistants who ask you for the third time what to serve and above all wait for an answer while I am chewing. Last but not least, the owner who doesn't even respond to greetings. In the case of take-away ice cream in cups or granitas, always check the presence of spoons before leaving the premises as out of 5 times you may find them only 2 times.

29/08/2024: I'm really sorry to say it, but my worst food experience. Paid 50 euros for one person, a mixed "fish" that was old and smelly. No alcohol, drank water and bread, left the food tried to eat the prawns that fell off because they were old. Liked the man, so I went in. Not a single customer. Unfortunately, sorry but could not eat the food because it stank. Tried. Disgusting, inedible (old) reheated and expensive. Wasted 50 euros, ate the food, drank the water but I never got a menu.

18/08/2024: Absolutely avoid! The photos do not correspond to the dishes served. Simply inedible! Industrial charcuterie certainly purchased vacuum packed. We had 2 boards and grilled vegetables. Total bill: 60 euros for plates good to put directly in the trash. In reference to "The wing or the thigh" it's Tricatel XXL! This is purely scandalous! Don't set foot there!

13/08/2024: “3 sandwiches please” “it takes 40 minutes” "All right" “but are you sure? It's 4 o'clock..." And they didn't want to make these sandwiches, never mind

30/04/2024: The sandwich wasn't bad.... But the wait was too long and the table setup wasn't ideal. We went last summer with some friends. I'd like to give him another chance this year though
