Ristorante The King of Fish In Lipari

I'm in the seafood industry, and I'll start by saying I always come back here willingly. First, they use the highest-quality ingredients. Second, Vulcano Island is spectacular, and eating fresh fish just steps from the sea is the best. Second, everyone is very friendly, especially the owner. Prices are fair, obviously high, but that's fair for that type of ingredient. Second, the location. And finally, for anyone who complains about the prices, I'd say, don't go for fresh fish; go to a nice chicken shop, King of the Fish. The name says it all.

I recommend trying the raw fish and the pasta with lobster...it's special!! Kudos to Gianluca and the entire staff!

Fresh fish, not very attentive staff, we ate well but the prices were exaggerated, a 300 gram squid cost 24 euros which seems excessive to me, raw prawns at 120€ per kilo... I would say too high.

A beautiful location, quality seafood, all ruined by slow and indifferent service and exorbitant prices. Pasta only features lobster or crayfish, and the prices for each dish are all per kilo, distracting the diner from realizing how expensive the bill will be. So much so that the price per person seemed like the total: 4 scampi, €90.

Great dinner! Fresh fish laid out on the counter. You choose the one you want, sit down at the table and wait for the chef to prepare it! Plus, good wine and prompt and fast service. Satisfaction!

Great location. Good food and impeccable service. The lobster linguine was fabulous. Prices are a bit high, but I'd go back. Recommended.

The freshness of the products was indescribable… I've never had such fresh products. A little pricey, but a wonderful experience.

We stopped here for a quick lunch after hiking the Vulcano trail and were so impressed by the quality and portion size of the food here! We ordered the Tuna Tartar, which was served Aeolian style with red onions, sea salt, capers, and super fresh fish. Really dreamy fresh flavors and melts in your mouth. We also ordered the red shrimp pasta, which came with perfectly cooked linguini and generous portions of shrimp. The facilities were clean and the wait staff were attentive and quick and gave great recommendations. Easy location to the port, would definitely eat here again!!

Came in around 2:50pm with a little skepticism due to reading some other negative reviews, but LEMME TELL YA… THE SEAFOOD IS EXCELLENT. We got the Tuna Tartar and Red Shrimp Linguine. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and are likely the best versions of the dish I have had. The fish quality is very high and both dishes were well seasoned. While the prices appear high, I believe the quality and preparation justify it. Highly recommend. The servers were attentive and English speaking. The bathrooms are clean. Wish we had more time on the island to have other dishes from the King of Fish!
