07/09/2025: Aside from the "filth" of the place... an unspeakable bathroom, walls splattered with slush, coffee, etc.
My companion ordered coffee and two glasses of water, and the owner's response was: "Let's see if I can fill two glasses."
(She wasn't joking, she was serious.)
She came to the table, brought the coffee, and two half glasses of water.
After about 6 minutes (we weren't the only ones sitting at the tables), she approached us and, with the excuse of clearing away the cup, asked us to leave the table for other people, yet there were plenty of out-of-place ones...
I'd tell this "owner" to do something else with her life.
Calling it a bar is a compliment.
"Hovel" is more appropriate.

Run away from this fake resort.
They say it's a Lipari resort, but it's actually on Vulcano.
Thank goodness my stubbornness made me do some research the day before.
I got my money back from eDream because I was right.

24/08/2025: It's a 4-star resort, but only potentially. It feels like an unfinished structure. There's no shuttle to take you from the port. The rooms are nice, although the fixtures and fittings could use a makeover. There's also little privacy. Breakfast is excellent.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025/2026 dinner to forget. The food was awful, with disgusting flavors, overcooked pasta, and everything served cold on frozen plates. The service was equally disappointing; we never had 12 diners eat a single dish together. Before midnight, they served fruit, dessert, and lentils, the latter served in a single central dish from which each person had to scoop with their own spoon—unhygienic at all. Not to mention the restrooms were not adequate for the number of guests. All this for the modest sum of €120 per person to fast... a terrible experience and definitely not to be repeated!!!!

10/10/2025: A pizzeria, restaurant, café, and bakery all in one 😀. Great coffee, delicious mini ice cream cones, and super traditional Sicilian rolls with fillings (spinach, cheese, pistachios, mortadella, etc.) – truly some of the best I've ever had. A takeaway option, perfect for the beach. Plus, a ton of various sweets. A must-see if you're visiting a beach in the area.

21/08/2025: It's become truly embarrassing and unmanageable to buy even a single donut. At any time of the evening, from 11 PM until late at night, the line is incredibly long. There's only one person at the counter to handle the countless requests. I stood in line for over an hour, and this isn't an isolated incident. This is shameful.

17/09/2025: We found this pizzeria practically by accident while we were on our way somewhere else. It was a Thursday evening, completely deserted, but we were in a hurry and went in. The pizza and sangria were really good. The sangria was better than the ones we drank last year in both Barcelona and Valencia. Honestly, we were surprised there was no one there; back in Veneto, it would always be crowded.
What can I say? Move to our place, you won't regret it; stop trying to make ends meet in Messina.
20/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was courteous, but the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We struggled to swallow the Mexican dish, and the next day... let's just say our stomachs definitely had something to complain about. It's a shame, we expected better. We hope for a future improvement.

13/12/2025: A guaranteed success for an evening with friends. The food is delicious, with crispy, dry fried foods. And then, the farewell at the cash register with a basket of chocolate and bayleis is a classic way to end the evening. Recommended!
23/10/2025: A perfect evening with friends. Excellent appetizers, and the burgers were fantastic. There's also the option of playing a game of pool. I'll definitely be back.
