11/08/2025: Food was absolutely delicious, 10/10, perfect parmiggiano di melanzane, spaghetti carbonara, and tiramisu out of this world 🤩👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻the waiters very very nice and atmosphere stunning plus live italian music, I would absolutely recommend!

08/08/2025: For Poles who complain about hidden surcharges, coperto is a fee in almost every restaurant for a table, cutlery, etc.

11/07/2025: Catastrophic welcome, especially the unfriendly waitress, but at a level+++ never seen before, salad ok, well garnished, but pasta average, indeed 2€ service charge extra per person, well ok, in compensation a very beautiful view of Isola Bella

06/06/2025: Was quiet but my sword fish was fabulous and so too my husband's minute steak. The family running it are friendly and helpful. I've read that it's off the beaten track and yes it's not on either of the 2 squares or the main road but Castelmola is a small village so it's not hard to find and is worth the little effort.

28/05/2025: The service and food was great. They were very friendly. The view from the terrace is magnificent. Our 10 month old granddaughter loved their spaghetti. My gnocchi was amazing. I finished with a taste of their local almond wine! We will be back!

01/07/2025: Only stress! Disappointing we do not recommend Unfortunately very disappointing () We arrived at the facility And our reservation was not recorded They assigned us a room Where there was a broken bed And other problems with electricity even cold water They re-let us The next day in another apartment worse than the first In the double bed There were not even slats Shower completely dirty We returned to the first Apartment During the Night the air conditioner rained on our daughter's bed with power outlets near the bed A real danger .. we requested a TOTAL refund OUR ENTIRE HOLIDAY WAS RUINED .. at the moment if they don't fix the apartments It is not an accessible facility they should close it and fix it .. because we pay and want to have the services Never again....

30/06/2025: Horrible place located in a terrible position narrow and difficult to reach. Zero free parking, nightmare sea. The rooms are acceptable as well as the service. Watch out for the stream

31/05/2025: Good food quality but abnormal timing 1 hour and a half for a pizza and 3 first courses and the starter arrived after half an hour. Note that the place has a maximum of 25 lids when ordering. Staff mortified by the situation.

27/05/2025: Everything is good but be careful about one thing if you are a regular customer you get special treatment. They serve me first even though they arrive later. The waiter with a turn of phrase takes you for a ride… morally it is not suitable for a tourist. But I repeat the food is good. The service is too poor. The owner says everything is false. If anyone wants to see the video I made of the waiter while I point out that the guy comes after me and he answers me with lies and tells me not to worry because I handle the orders. Footage that does not suggest anything even the audio is clear you can contact me in pvt willingly.

01/08/2025: Accueil et service catastrophiques. Personnel et responsable arrogants et irrespectueux, à la limite du tolérable . On nous a demandé 4x si on voulait le restaurant ou la pizzeria en sous sol . Le repas était bon , mais ce comportement gâche tout . Les tables avec vue sur la magnifique terrasse ne sont pas accessibles au commun des mortels. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

30/07/2025: Visited Granduca in July 2025 on the anniversary of our wedding. Especially especially as we had our wedding meal here 22 years ago to the day. First issue was they couldn’t find our booking despite us going in a week earlier and booking our table. That was sorted and we were sat in a very nice seat overlooking the bay. Food was good, not brilliant but was okay. Service was shocking. So unfriendly, unwelcoming and downright snobby. We will not be returning.

29/08/2024: I'm really sorry to say it, but my worst food experience. Paid 50 euros for one person, a mixed "fish" that was old and smelly. No alcohol, drank water and bread, left the food tried to eat the prawns that fell off because they were old. Liked the man, so I went in. Not a single customer. Unfortunately, sorry but could not eat the food because it stank. Tried. Disgusting, inedible (old) reheated and expensive. Wasted 50 euros, ate the food, drank the water but I never got a menu.

18/08/2024: Absolutely avoid! The photos do not correspond to the dishes served. Simply inedible! Industrial charcuterie certainly purchased vacuum packed. We had 2 boards and grilled vegetables. Total bill: 60 euros for plates good to put directly in the trash. In reference to "The wing or the thigh" it's Tricatel XXL! This is purely scandalous! Don't set foot there!

19/10/2024: We ordered pizza and freshly squeezed orange juice. Unfortunately, the pizza was average, the prosciutto was ordinary prosciutto chopped into small pieces, and the juice did not resemble freshly squeezed juice... the old lady was not very nice. I don't recommend it. I regret that I didn't look at the reviews before I sat down at the table

15/10/2024: I had the misfortune of dining at Arcobaleno and it was a disaster from start to finish. The service was painfully slow, with the waitress disappearing for long time and forgetting our fries we ordered and not saying anything . When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and in terms of the taste I would give it 5/10. It felt like we were an afterthought rather than valued customers. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

14/06/2025: We bought 2 arancini with ragù. Total 6 euros...acceptable price being in Taormina, but terrible flavor and cold inside (fridge stuff reheated and served)!

04/06/2025: They attract you with low prices, but in reality they don't bring you anything. We took 2 spritz where the aperol was not at all tasted (probably diluted with water) and a cutting board where the ingredients on the menu were not indicated. The owner told us that the cutting board included bresaola, a selection of cheeses and "other things" (that's exactly what they said). In the end, we received a tiny cutting board with 5 slices of raw ham (not much), 2 (exactly two) pieces of emmenthal from the supermarket, 1 toasted slice of toast cut in two and as decoration 2 slices of tomato and 6 slices of orange. He also brought us a basket of bread, to eat with who knows what... Price 4.50 * 2 (spritz), 10 (cutting board), 2 * 2 (cover charge). TOTAL 23 euros. Narrow tables and waiters shouting left and right. Avoid!

02/05/2025: Nos sentamos a tomar una copa, vino un camarero arrogante que ni siquiera podía decir POR FAVOR. Nunca he conocido a un camarero más grosero, no podíamos esperar a tomar nuestras copas y marcharnos, horror.

02/05/2025: No lo recomendaría! En primer lugar el servicio - simplemente se olvidaron de lo que pedimos, nos trajeron antipastoso típico que es como plato de bienvenida en todas partes en Taormina, y simplemente lo agregaron a nuestra factura más tarde! Olvidé que preguntamos por vino y demás. Pero lo más interesante fue que al final cuando recibimos nuestra factura nos confundimos ya que adicionalmente a “por coperta” deberíamos pagar un 10% como “por servizio”!! Y usted no encontrará esta línea en ningún otro restaurante allí. Así que, definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar! BTW. La comida en sí era demasiado gorda, aceitosa, no sabrosa.

14/07/2025: Il posto ha una bella terrazza panoramica che si affaccia sul porto quindi è molto carino tuttavia è un posto prettamente turistico. Le pizze mediocri e i le paste…lasciamo stare..slegate e scotte. Il personale di sala è molto cortese e quasi non si nota ma è un posto che suggerisco di evitare.

30/06/2025: La cena sulla terrazza superiore è molto piacevole. Servizio buono e veloce con personale simpatico. 28/04/2025: Scrivo questa recensione con una data quasi fittizia, ci sarò stato un centinaio di volte all'ancora, sia lato bar dentro gli imbarcaderi che lato strada. Allora non sono d'accordo con le rece totalmente negative, ottimo caffe', servizio veloce e buoni cornetti. Rosticceria nella media , e piatti della gastronomia passabili. Non c'e' eccellenza , e' vero, ma non credo alle recensioni totalmente negative che leggo poiché in questi anni ho sempre avuto modo di assaggiare un po' di tutto e non ho mai constatato la pochezza di chi da un solo pallino nella recensione.
