26/09/2025: September 12, 2025, will forever be etched in our hearts as the most beautiful day of our lives... and we also owe all of this to Castello Pensabene, which gave us a magical and unforgettable experience. Our outdoor ceremony, under a fairytale starry sky, was enchanting. Every detail was taken care of with love and professionalism, creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere. The staff was simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, always present but never intrusive. The food exceeded every expectation—everyone showered us with compliments! A huge thank you goes to Dario and Alessandro, two extraordinary people who accompanied us with rare dedication. Their precision, availability, and kindness were essential to making everything we dreamed of come true. Without them, nothing would have been so perfect. We wanted to add a personal touch by making the wedding cake ourselves, which was greeted with enthusiasm and so much affection. And to conclude the evening, stratospheric fireworks lit up the sky and our hearts. Castello Pensabene is more than just a wonderful location: it's a place where you feel welcomed, listened to, and pampered. 14/09/2025: What a hidden little paradise! It was recommended to us, and we went there on our last day of vacation on Vulcano…luckily! Since it was the end of the season, it was very quiet. It's a small, hidden, and not very convenient beach (best reached by boat). We were there by car and had to park the car at the top by the road and walk down the steep road, but it was worth it. A small, beautiful beach, delicious schiacciata, and, above all, very friendly staff! They even gave us a lift on the way back out of kindness. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.

07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.

24/08/2025: If you want to step back in time, just cross the threshold of this trattoria and the magic is done. The location is simple, clean, with a family atmosphere. The menu is unfussy, but the food is truly delicious. It felt like sitting at your aunt's house, a talented chef who delights you with traditional dishes cooked simply and cleanly. Everything was delicious: the fish balls immersed in a sauce that forces you to mop up the sauce, the fresh octopus salad, the pisci ca cipuddata, the spaghetti with clams, rigorously fresh, the balanced and tasty peppered mussels. We couldn't resist the temptation of the beautifully prepared fried calamari, golden and crispy. There's no dessert, but since you've stepped back in time, a delicious cup of lemon ice cream is perfect. What can I say? If you're looking for gourmet dishes, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for the delicious flavors of Sicilian seafood, you can't miss this place. Thank you for existing! 24/09/2025: I tried several Chinese dishes and noticed that the ingredients were fresh, everything tasted just right, and everything was cooked to perfection. The rice was very well prepared, and the vegetables retained that distinctive crunchiness. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good lighting and comfortable tables, perfect for a romantic getaway or a group of friends. The service was excellent, always attentive without being intrusive. I found it to be a balanced place in terms of quality and price, ideal for enjoying a varied and well-served meal.

13/11/2025: Granduca in Taormina is one of those restaurants that instantly makes you feel like you’re in the heart of authentic Italian and Sicilian culture. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere stood out. The décor, the lighting, and the overall vibe create a very cozy environment that feels both welcoming and lively. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat on the balcony, the view is truly beautiful and adds an extra layer of charm to the whole dining experience. One of the things we loved most about Granduca is the strong Italian character of the place, especially with the traditional Italian pizza oven on display. It gives the restaurant a genuine, local touch and brings an element of tradition that you don’t find everywhere. It also sets the tone for the food quality, which did not disappoint. The menu offers a very good variety of classic Italian and Sicilian dishes, along with an excellent selection of drinks. We tried a couple of different pastas and pizzas, and everything we ordered was delicious. The flavours were well balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of food that truly reflects the region’s culinary pride. Customer service was fair and generally pleasant, though there is room for improvement. Staff were polite and helpful, but service could be a bit more attentive considering how busy the restaurant gets. Overall, Granduca is a great choice in Taormina if you’re looking for excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and a wonderful Italian dining experience. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.
