05/07/2025: We were there for lunch and were placed under a cover made of wood and bamboo canes. It was very hot, luckily two large fans moved the air and created some relief. The place is really nice, it works a lot with tourists and this unfortunately is reflected in the dishes. There were many of us and we were able to try a bit of everything on the menu, so I can "push myself further" with the reviews. But I would start with the service to which I gave two stars: there were only us, a table of twelve, a few tables that in the meantime were finishing lunch. We arrived around 13:10 and to have lunch with appetizers and some first courses plus dessert we had to wait a long time which the heat did not help. The appetizers started to arrive around 14:/15-20, the first courses around 15. Drinks were served immediately and obviously reheated in the meantime of the wait, but luckily ice was served, but on request. An appetizer mentioned red shrimp and some prawns were served, probably Argentinian, obviously frozen products and not fresh. An explanation was asked about this topic, but the answer was not very polite and unfortunately very far-fetched. We didn't want to insist, the incongruity was obvious to everyone and at the table there was my dear little sister, a cooking expert as well as sous chef and wife of a well-known chef from Salento with a long experience. Moving on to the dishes, all in all some were really good: the caponata, the burratine (they could have added a few more peppers and perhaps mentioned the presence of ricotta mousse on the menu), the prawns themselves were good. A little less so the seafood salad, which although presented really well, had very hard cuttlefish and was not very pleasant to chew; the crouton with squid was instead with octopus cut into strips, also an incongruity here, but apart from this it was really hard to chew. Orecchiette good, but the sauce was a bit acidic. Black spaghetti very good and so was the grill. The wait for desserts was long, however the tiramisu was good, the sgroppino not to be judged, served unmixed and without a teaspoon to make it ourselves. Mango sorbet: although the sorbet was good, the mango (still frozen) had no flavor. I hope they fix a few details to reach a level that is certainly higher and within the reach of the structure. The service needs to speed up a lot and I don't dare to imagine the times it would have taken if it had been full.

05/07/2025: One night stay, very pleasant. Nice rooms, beautiful gardens and a fair breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

23/06/2025: Lovely place all lit up very helpful and kind staff. The complete menu and perhaps too abundant given the 7 appetizers, 2 pastas, mixed grill and dessert. I recommend it if you are in the Capo d'Orlando area.

11/05/2025: Great experience! Warm and welcoming environment. Courteous and attentive staff. Excellent courses, an endless array of appetizers of products from typical Nebrodi recipes, encores of tasty and well-seasoned first courses, grilled mixed meat that is very tender as well as of excellent quality. To finish, sorbet, small cannoli and limoncello... what can I say?! I definitely recommend trying it

30/07/2025: Finalmente dopo una settimana in giro per la Sicilia a mangiare roba da turisti e prezzi da stellati, quando avevamo perso le speranze e tornavamo a casa, prima di traghettare ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante eccezionale, personale gentile cucina autentica con la giusta rivisitazione che non guasta, ho mangiato una tartara di alalunga incredibile e una pasta con bergamotto e bottarga stupefacente. Carta dei vini ottima e soprattutto ho pagato davvero poco dopo le batoste dell ultima settimana. Qualità prezzo davvero incredibile. Al mio prossimo viaggio in Sicilia sarà tappa fissa

27/07/2025: Adoriamo questo ristorante, con la sua atmosfera un po’ chic e un po’ old style. Ogni volta che passiamo da Messina, la tappa è obbligatoria. La qualità del cibo è sempre altissima: pesce freschissimo e una selezione di vini davvero eccellente. Stavolta abbiamo scelto un Etna Bianco spettacolare. I bucatini con le sarde meritano 5 stelle, così come la cacio e pepe (rubata dal piatto di mia nipote!). Ottima anche la tartare di branzino, scelta da mio marito. Io ho preso, oltre alla pasta, gli involtini di pesce spada: deliziosi, anche se mi aspettavo una preparazione senza salsa di pomodoro. Ma è stato un mio errore: alla messinese si servono così. In ogni caso, la qualità del pesce e del ripieno era eccellente. Servizio impeccabile, professionale ma con il giusto tocco di calore. Insomma, una tappa consigliatissima!

09/12/2024: Avevamo sentito di questo posto e abbiamo voluto provarlo ! Frittura di pesce al metro spettacolare, e anche la pizza è buona . Cibo buono e prezzo ottimo , anche il servizio è attento! Bravi tornerò !

03/11/2024: What a beautiful place... tucked away, away from the hustle and bustle, yet quiet and peaceful. A few minutes' drive to Savocia and Taormina. The room was clean, which is most important to me. Everything I needed was there – I felt right at home. It was comfortable and convenient, and there was also a large balcony where you could spend the evenings sipping the owner's homemade wine. The pizza served in the restaurant downstairs was outstanding. You could taste the quality of the ingredients; it was truly the best I've ever had. The owner, who also served us in the restaurant, was incredibly kind, friendly, and always smiling. Nothing was a problem. A true "titulare" from Sicily. A hospitable, wonderful guy with whom you can communicate in English, Italian, or even Polish. :) I highly recommend this place to anyone considering staying and eating there. You won't regret it. 31/07/2025: I ate at this pizzeria on the Villafranca seafront. The pizza is really good. The light, easy-to-digest dough makes it an excellent product. The service needs updating; the area is large, but the waiters are distracted. The price is average. I recommend it.

30/07/2025: I went on a Saturday, there were a lot of people, we queued for a bit but then we left because under the umbrellas it was so hot it was impossible to eat, it was dripping.

09/07/2025: Gorgeous location! We dined on the terrace, poolside, with a breathtaking sunset view. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and available to accommodate all our needs and requests. Excellent focaccia, fabulous seafood. Normal wait times. But above all, the owner was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly kind! We'll definitely be back!

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo Ristorante, dopo anni che non venivo in Sicilia e conoscendo il posto perché ci venivo regolarmente e sono sempre stato soddisfatto, ci ha fatto anche il ricevimento di nozze mia nipote. Purtroppo devo dire, a parte che c’era una festa di compleanno con molti invitati, siamo rimasti male sia per il servizio, completamente assente, eravamo in 3 in un piccolo tavolino proprio a ridosso del festeggiato. Detto questo ordiniamo una bottiglia di vino rosso e un the freddo per mio figlio. Passiamo alla cucina una cosa che nelle peggior trattorie non si mangia così, Mio figlio ha preso una pizza tonno e cipolle di scarsa qualità, io e mia moglie due tris di affumicati, a parte l’inpiantamento, su un piattino e con salmone tonno e spada uno sopra l’altro, neanche separati per gusto e di qualità molto scadente e salatissimi. Passiamo ai secondi io ho preso pesce spada all’eoliana niente di eccezionale, metà lasciato e mia moglie una tagliata di tonno con quattro foglie di rucola e del parmigiano sbriciolato, ma il tonno era talmente salato che era immangiabile che praticamente e rimasto nel piatto. Nessuno che si preoccupava di passare e chiedere almeno se andava bene. Dopo una mezz’oretta che avevamo finito e lasciato sul piatto la maggior parte del mangiare e nessuno si è degnato di sparecchiare la tavola e con mio figlio che voleva ancora un the, ma nessuno si avvicinava al tavolo, sembravamo dei fantasmi, al che ho trovato la prima cameriera e gli ho chiesto il conto con ancora tutto sul tavolo. Poi al momento di pagare ho fatto le mie rimostranze al proprietario che per sua discolpa a detto, “poteva chiamare il cameriere” ma erano così presi che ci passavano davanti anche chiamando e gesticolando che non ci sentivano. In conclusione bruttissima esperienza.

06/07/2025: The spaghetti with sea urchins was good, well seasoned with sea urchin pulp but with a little excess of oil, in my opinion. So a little heavy. Initial frying, excellent. Prices from the Aeolian Islands (I thought I would spend less!).

06/07/2025: Perfect experience, I went for dinner a week ago with my wife and son and I have to say I was very enthusiastic. We were welcomed very well in the restaurant, which is a very clean structure, tastefully furnished. We ordered raw fish, a real treat, when you see that for the raw fish and fish tartare they don't season it with lemon but only with a drop of oil and above all, importantly, they don't even serve you lemon, this is already an indication of freshness and they don't want to cover the flavors. We continued with different first courses and as a second course fried fish and prawn rolls. And here too everything is doc. The wine recommended to accompany everything was very good. Maybe a little high in price but if you eat in a genuine way like in this case you don't even think about it. We will definitely see each other again! Congratulations.

20/07/2025: Excellent pizza, good value, and friendly service, with attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant, located on a promontory near the SS113, enjoys a splendid view of the Aeolian Islands.

18/07/2025: There were five of us and we ordered pizza, a can of Coke, 1 liter of wine, 1 bottle of water, 1 tiramisu, and 1 sorbet for a total of 80 euros. The pizzas were delicious and the bill was quite reasonable, I'd say. The place is also very nice. I highly recommend it.

07/08/2025: An elegant and warm welcome! The food is delicious and the setting is a haven of peace in a beautiful, quiet garden! Highly recommended! A change from the tourist traps in Taormina.

02/08/2025: Locale nella via centrale , può sempre essere rischioso ( come lanciarsi nelle acque mentre il pescecane gira affamato), corso il rischio: errore da non ripetere, il pescecane ha colpito dolorosamente. Qualità prezzo fuori senso, offerta limitata . Servizio con tanta buona volontà ma organizzazione degna di “ cucine da incubo”. Un’esperienza per i più coraggiosi. Non siate coraggiosi, scegliete il mangiare bene : altrove .

01/08/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante una sera di luglio durante le nostre vacanze estive in famiglia e abbiamo trovato tutto squisito e cucinato alla perfezione. Abbiamo assaggiato un po' di tutto antipasto, primi e secondi pesce e per finire invogliati dall' aspetto invitante una pizza divisa in 4 . Consiglio vivamente di andare a mangiare in questo posto merita veramente l'impasto della pizza è il più buono che abbia mai mangiato in vita si scioglie in bocca. Comunque buon sangue non mente la gestione è tutta famigliare mamma in cucina, padre in pizzeria, figlio che li aiuta complimenti a tutti e buon appetito ai viaggiatori che andranno.

14/07/2025: Made very welcome after a late arrival in Naxxos ( and the hotels restaurants were closed at 21.30hrs !! ) - excellent food throughout - great attentive and professional service - family run - definately worth a visit.

23/07/2025: Il posto è vicino al Duomo di Messina. Purtroppo ci sono state molte pecche sulla precisione e la fattura dei piatti e mi aspettavo di più rispetto al prezzo, un piatto era immangiabile e il proprietario non è stato cortese. Mi dispiace.
