04/01/2025: The food is average even for a bistro, but the friendly service and location make up for it. Probably a better place for a drink than a meal. It is worth trying a drink based on almond wine. The drink was delicious.

29/12/2024: We visited in September 2024. The location is right at the entrance, where the buses drop people off. There are a lot of people walking past you on their way up to the castle. It's a very small place, but it might still be worth a visit. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and it was delicious—the best Arancini we had in Italy. The owners are friendly and passionate about their business. Highly recommended, don't miss this wonderful experience!

02/09/2024: Das Novè in Taormina ist vermutlich die Institution für alles rund um Pistazien. Hier wird gefühlt alles aus und mit Pistazien angeboten. Neben dem Cafe, gibt es auch einen Shop mit diversen Produkten. Ich probierte dort Pistaziengranita und den Espresso Pistacchio. Wirklich sehr gut!

29/08/2024: We stopped in for pistachio gelato it was amazing we also bought pistachios liquor to take with us. Friendly staff. The had tons of pistachio flavored items to purchase.

11/12/2024: My favorite and the best restaurant in Messina, hands down! I loveeee this place so much. It is tiny but super clean, super cute, and the man is alone running the front house but he is the most cheerful the most hospitable server I've ever had in Italy and I've met many. He also speaks good English!!The food is fantastic, their picanha steak is just the divine and price wise, compare to the quality and quantity of the food you'll get, it is cheap. Menu changes depending on season, but if it's still available. I highly reccomend the donkey starter (i forgot the name) and the picanha steak along with the mushroom pasta. It is truly the best. I enjoyed my meal so much here

08/12/2024: We were warmly welcomed and ate an excellent pizza, light, fragrant and with quality food. The staff was very kind and the environment was very nice. I can't comment on the price because we were guests of our dearest and affectionate friends. I highly recommend it.

08/11/2024: One word wonderful, as soon as you enter the room it seems like you are entering a fairy tale from times gone by, a dream venue, embellishing works of art that make the environment even more phantasmagorical. The food was top notch, genuine and excellent, kindness and courtesy from the staff, a smile on their faces and a lot of politeness... what can I say, highly recommended, I would give 100 stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩

09/10/2024: They had spoken well to me about this place for its simple hospitality and menu. I had a great time with the environment, the helpfulness of the owners and the quality of the food. A few notes, some dishes in my opinion should be better tested before offering them to customers. I am referring to the busiate with mussels and rocket pesto. Perhaps I would have preferred to tone down the intense flavor of the rocket with a sweeter fish rather than mussels. But these are personal considerations that are possibly not reflected in other guests. For the rest really happy. The appropriate price

27/09/2024: A tiny restaurant with great potential. The dishes are unique, fish and seafood are presented in a beautiful and unusual way. Refreshing desserts. It is worth making a reservation in advance and enjoying a delicious dinner.

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!
