26/04/2026: Very unpleasant and rude restaurant owner, he actually kicked us out of the restaurant, saying it was closed if we're having trouble understanding. We had only asked for a coffee... honestly, the bar seemed open since there were people sitting there... the door was open, the tables were set. Absolutely not recommended!!!

09/04/2026: Bad service. The waiter was alone, rude.. and what was funny cause tell he’s the only one at the restaurant. Looks like he served and preparing also the food. Find another place! To bad cause location are right in the city center.

17/05/2026: Passing through with my wife for a quick snack before leaving for Puglia.... we stopped by chance.... we ordered baked pasta after making us wait more than half an hour the pasta arrived cold and tasted sour.... I reported this to one of the very rude employees of the place saying among other things that the pasta was good and that it was not sour at all, in short I had to pay for two portions of cold and sour pasta, terrible experience! Hygiene less than zero! Rudeness and very poor food! To be avoided!!!

14/12/2025: In summary: a terrible place. The Aperol Spritz was practically just syrup, served in a very small portion, and on top of that it was twice as expensive as in a place just 20 meters away on the same street. The restroom was in a terrible condition, with a wet floor and a general lack of cleanliness. You also need to be very careful with the bill, as we could have been overcharged if we hadn’t paid close attention. We chose this place because of the nice view, which turned out to be completely overpriced. Despite the venue supposedly being closed, people kept coming in to ask for money or try to sell some cheap junk, and the waitresses didn’t seem to care at all.

04/09/2025: The place was dirty and messy, it felt like a landfill. I was served by a child who looked like he was 12 without following any hygiene rules. The sandwich was poor quality and the meat was of questionable origin. It was very expensive compared to other competitors. I would not recommend anyone to eat here. It's truly dirty and poorly managed. Dirty tables, broken chairs... anything but welcoming.

04/09/2025: The food isn't gourmet, but it's good. Most importantly, it's warm. The service is friendly. As other reviews have said, it's perfect for a late-night meal after arriving in Sicily.

25/07/2026: On Saturdays and Sundays, they have an evening meal after booking for Saturday. I naively called half an hour before to see if they were preparing dinner, and so they decided not to open the pool at all because the number of people wasn't enough. Organization is absolutely 0.

07/07/2026: I was there for the town festival on Sunday afternoon. I had two slices of pizza with mozzarella, pistachio, and sausage. It was exceptional, crispy, flavorful, and perfect. We also had two cans, all for 9 euros, which was also a great price. I'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: I'm giving it one star only because it can't be given less. The only positive thing about this place is the location, which is on a green area, even if it's quite poorly maintained. The food was inedible. The side dishes were decent, but the first course was flavorless. All the sauces were definitely store-bought, but the poorest ones. The second course was mystery meat; we didn't know what animal we were eating, and 3/4 of the dining room left their plates half full, obviously all served cold. The dessert included in the price was a €10 Colomba cake, sliced ​​and served for the whole dining room. And finally, they wanted €27 per person, all in cash, because they don't have a POS terminal... in 2026, it's illegal for a business not to have a POS terminal, and they collected everything in CASH. Horrible business, it should be closed down.

26/07/2026: We were impressed by Mr. Umberto's cuisine and Mr. Giovanni's service. The portions are generous, the appetizers are excellent and varied, the three first courses are delicious, and the mixed seafood grill is excellent.

19/05/2026: Nothing to take away from the rest of the establishment, but the bistro is truly awful! I'm referring to the lady with blonde hair who is truly rude and inappropriate. There was a middle-aged couple who had a waffle in their hand in front of the ice cream machine. The men asked how the machine worked and were clearly having difficulty. She turns to the men and says, "Look, the machine next door is for the cones, that one is for the cups," and then adds, "Look, you have to press the button, otherwise the ice cream won't come out just by looking at it." Oh well!

The toilet was dirty and smelly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! I paid with a credit card, and the waiter claimed I hadn't bought anything. Furthermore, the other two people at the bar were my relatives who had also consumed food. I wonder why other people complain about such rudeness? Are they all lying? 11/08/2026: I happened to be nearby, there were two of us, only one person had breakfast and an iced tea. The staff was behind the counter, handed me breakfast, and told me I could get my own tea from the fridge, so I sat down at my table. When it came time to pay, I noticed that the receipt had been charged €0.50 for table service, when in fact no service had been brought to the table. The staff justified themselves by saying that table service had been added because I was taking up their table, and that they should have sanitized it, even though the table occupied by the second person still had papers and cups from previous customers. We were talking about it, and he even had the courage to join in the conversation. The second person (in his 60s) was drinking a soda that hadn't been purchased on the premises. The staff told him to go and drink it outside, even though one of us was drinking.
