23/09/2025: We used the bar on the way between Syracuse and Catania, the food was excellent but it should be noted that the owner allows customers to smoke inside the premises creating a bad smell even in a place where there is food on display, as it is also a bistro for lunch break... incredible.

Ingredients weren't listed on the menu, and the service wasn't exactly friendly.
We ordered a portion of pumpkin tortellini, and they tasted of alcohol. When we went to "complain," we were told that we, as customers, are responsible for indicating whether there are ingredients we don't eat or are allergic to. If it had been stated that amaretto was among the ingredients, we definitely would have opted for something else.
I know that by law, the list of ingredients and any allergens must be displayed.
In a dish called "pumpkin tortellini," I expect pumpkin tortellini, certainly not almond essence liqueur (unless specified).
I really don't think I'll be back.

30/06/2025: Teníamos grandes expectativas para Prestipino, pero terminó siendo la experiencia más decepcionante de toda nuestra estancia en Catania. Dondequiera que fuimos, la gente era increíblemente amable y acogedor, pero aquí, era todo lo contrario.
Todos los camareros parecían molestos y eran antipáticos.
Es una pena, porque el lugar podría tener potencial, pero la actitud del personal arruinó completamente la experiencia. Definitivamente no recomendaría.

13/09/2025: I arrived at the restaurant, politely asking to be seated. I sat down and ordered a Margherita and a Campagnola. After about 15 minutes, the pizzas were brought to us. They didn't look or smell good, but the worst came when my dad and I tasted them. The dough tasted like yeast, the sauce was sour, and the mozzarella had no flavor. The worst pizza of my life, truly awful. They'll never remember me again.
19/08/2025: The owner is lovely, and his wife in the kitchen concocts delicious Sicilian dishes.
Don't hesitate; the few negative reviews are not true.

12/11/2025: WHEN THE APPRENTICE OUTSTANDS THE MASTER
I was craving a pizza capricciosa (a typical Italian pizza) and decided to stop by Benfatto. To my surprise, I found Riccardo overseeing the pizza preparation (he's usually busy in the sandwich department).
Well, what can I say... when they say the apprentice outshines the master!
The pizza was truly delicious, well-topped, and above all, meticulously crafted, from the baking to the light dough.
Kudos to the entire Benfatto staff for the quality and passion evident in every dish!

11/10/2025: Very rude person. I ordered fresh pomegranate juice and was charged €6 for a small glass that didn't even hold 500 ml. It's simply not competitive with other stores that sell larger sizes at lower prices.
If this were a sit-down bar and they served you in a real glass, I'd probably expect something like this.

Abundant food and fun.
Here, fresh fish is prepared on the spot, accompanied by the singing and dancing of the grillers 🙂.
A must-visit!

19/11/2025: The name is a nod to Greece, and we were thinking about moving, but overall, we stayed in Catania. The food is decent, and the place is small but cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful...but Greece?
16/11/2025: The weakest points are the fries and pita bread, they seem to have been made last week. The meat is good, but the rest is a flop, I'm sorry.
