22/05/2025: Excellent food. It is very crowded on Saturday and Sunday and there is very little staff..but the thing that makes me think more negatively is having seen a brown cockroach on a wall leaning..from here in my opinion a good disinfestation would be needed..for the rest I have nothing else to add.

28/05/2025: SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! Absolutely negative service!!!!! I placed an order on Justeat (PAID ONLINE) indicating the desired time, after 1 hour of delay I called the restaurant and an unpleasant person informed me that the rider had already left and the order was being delivered… after 1 hour from the call, still no one showed up! We arrived at 11:00 pm (closing time of the restaurant) with an order that had never been delivered and with no one answering my calls. A rude boy showed up at 11:35 pm, left me the bag and left. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK!!! Shame on you!!!! Of course at 11:35 pm I wasn't even hungry anymore and I threw away both the food and my money. You are terrible!!!! I hope you close soon!

14/05/2025: I leave one star because less is not possible. Two hours late, the slippers arrived not only with totally wrong condiments. In addition, a slipper was missing from the order made. Highly not recommended

14/05/2025: We ordered at 8pm. Arrived at 10:45pm after a reminder, we were told that they had run out of ingredients and that as an excuse they would give us some free fried food. The order arrives, 4 out of 4 sandwiches wrong, one sandwich that didn't arrive and...the freebies weren't there. We call for clarification, they tell us that they would call us back. Clearly that didn't happen. Never again

13/05/2025: Grande delusione! Tavola calda pessima, cipolline dal sapore acido, paté di riso stantio, pizzette secche con sapore acido. Forse avendo ordinato la tavola calda per telefono mi è stata data quella del giorno o giorni prima. Non mi era mai accaduto. Per anni sono stata cliente e consideravo il bar Privitera fr i migliori della città. Ma è proprio vero che tutto cambia

10/05/2025: Pasticceria di quartiere che ha lunga tradizione e che dunque ha assunto nel tempo una notorietà cittadina. Qui in realtà non trovi solo dolci ma puoi consumare anche snack e pasti salati. Io lo provo comunque per una pausa caffè. Apprezzo l’ampia disponibilità anche di pasticcini mignon che ti consentono una pausa golosa non impegnativa sia dal punto di vista delle calorie che della spesa. L’accompagno con un caffè. Entrambe le consumazioni le ho trovate gustose. Il locale, sarà che era in un momento di scarso affollamento, l’ho trovato accogliente anche se un po’ datato (fatto che comunque gli conferisce un’atmosfera vintage non certo negativa) e il servizio corretto.

24/10/2024: Provato aperifish. Prenotato arrivati e subito accomodati. Personale rapido e gentile. La signora è stata disponibile tutta la serata. Ottimo tutto. Anche il pane di due tipi. Preso tagliere x tre e x due. Tutti siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Anche noi non l'ho abbiamo finito tutto. Gentilmente la signora ci fornito vaschetta x asporto. Tornerò sicuramente.

04/10/2024: Carissima signora qnd si risponde al telefono bisogna dire chi siete o no e qnd si sta x chiudere la chiamata si saluta…ma purtroppo l’educazione è passata di moda direi una cafona

14/04/2025: Ho pagato 9 euro per un pistacchioso senza pistacchio e ci doveva essere la burrata ma abbiamo trovato 2 mozzarelline. Abbiamo aspettato 1 ora e mezza x una porzione di patatine. Personale incompetente

02/10/2024: The business has changed management. The location is now called Borgo San Vito. I had a dinner of pizza, starter and dessert, all really good with helpful and kind staff. I also thank the owners for their courtesy. I will return in the next few days to savor the restaurant dishes, which when seen served at the adjacent tables were very inviting. See you soon!!!

06/05/2025: Domenica sera ero con la mia famiglia e abbiamo deciso di mangiare qui. Scelta pessima. Abbiamo assistito ad una scena a dir poco indecente. Una lite tra caposala e cameriera durata più del dovuto che ha attirato l'attenzione di tutti i clienti. Siamo rimasti solo perché i bambini avevano fame, altrimenti già saremmo andati via. È compito di un bravo caposala mantenere l'ordine in sala, invece è stato proprio lui con determinati modi provocatori e insulti ad istigare i cameriri, portando malumore in sala. Detto ciò, mangiare buono.

25/04/2025: Catania, Via M. Cilestri. Tavolo accanto la cassa, otto persone. Improvvisamente, e senza alcuna cura della clientela attorno, il caposala e uno dei camerieri, nella postazione del registratore di cassa, a 50 cm da noi, cominciano a discutere molto animatamente di qualcosa riguardante chi di loro avesse dovuto compilare chissà che cosa, a voce alta e per più di cinque minuti, in dialetto, senza curarsi MINIMAMENTE dei clienti. Eravamo ad un passo da alzarci e fare notare loro il comportamento assurdo che stavano tenendo, fregandosene dei clienti, quando, fortunatamente, hanno smesso. Abbiamo deciso di continuare la cena, vista anche la presenza dei nostri bambini, ma sicuramente non torneremo in un posto in cui il comfort e la tranquillità dei propri clienti non vengono assolutamente tenuti in considerazione. Cibo nella media, al disotto della qualità che avevano fino a dicembre 2024, data della mia ultima visita (forse è cambiato il cuoco).

16/04/2025: Personale gentile e attento alle mie esigenze. Non conoscevo il locale. Ho prenotato telefonicamente e quando ho fatto presente la presenza di un neonato la signora che ha preso la prenotazione si è offerta spontaneamente di riservarmi il tavolo nella saletta piccola lontano dalla musica offrendomi la possibilità di accedere liberamente alla sala da ballo secondo mia volontà. Inoltre mi ha dato una prenotazione senza vincolo di orario con il tavolo riservato per tutta la serata lasciando scegliere a me l'orario di arrivo e il tavolo riservato era in una angolazione in cui aprendo la porta d'ingresso non arrivavano ondate ventose al bambino. In più abbiamo pagato 17 euro a persona per patatine + un primo + una pizza + focaccia nutella+ acqua +1 bibita a persona. Data la quantità di cibo le pizze le abbiamo portate via quasi per intero diventando la cena dell'indomani, quindi a conti fatti ognuno di noi con 17 euro ha cenato 2 sere.

10/05/2025: Onestamente mai più..5 € una brioche con due palline minuscole in pratica quasi vuota...il gusto ricotta immangiabile Senza sapore sembrava latte acerbo mi dispiace mi aspettavo molto meglio da un locale così...delusa 😒

20/04/2025: Today Easter Sunday I wanted to have dinner with a brioche ice cream and I have to say that the ice cream was so hard and inedible that the barmaid had to heat the ice cream spoon with the jet of the cappuccino machine.... Not to mention the very hard brioche... Truly a vomiting experience... I'm writing this only because of the crazy stomach ache that it caused me not even half an hour after I consumed it.

19/04/2025: Passed through a few days ago, very welcoming and calm place, lady at the counter and courteous and patient waitresses, the only problem is that on Google Maps there is confusion in understanding where exactly the place is located, otherwise an excellent place.

01/05/2025: Esperienza pessima, antipasto di mare discreto, due piatti di spaghetti alle vongole (40 euro) immangiabili, bisogna impegnarsi per cucinare un piatto di vongole così male, pasta cruda ed effetto colla, condimento vongole totalmente insapore, unica giustificazione era il primo maggio e c'era molta confusione, comunque, in base alla mia esperienza, da evitare. Se ti fai pagare 74,50 un antipasto, due spaghetti e due calilci di vino va bene, ma un livello minimo di decenza e di qualità la devi garantire, anche in giornate di molta affluenza.
