La Capannina In Catania

What can I say...my daughter only eats pizza at La Capannina! Super good pizzas...I recommend booking, especially on Saturday nights, but the wait is worth it anyway. Prices are average, and the staff is very friendly.

Last night, for the first time, I booked a table for eight people. I was worried I'd make a bad impression. We were greeted with great professionalism and kindness, and the pizzas were truly delicious with top-quality ingredients. To top it off, they offered chocolate candies and coffee at checkout—a real treat. I highly recommend this place.

Super super good pizza, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is that it's small and too loud. When the room is full, you can't even have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. Did I happen to be there on a night when people were too loud?

We've been coming to this place for a while now. I'll start by saying I love its location, nestled in the elegant, bourgeois heart of Catania's upper class. Secondly, the staff is friendly, competent, and lively, with special mention for the young, bespectacled waiter, who displays jovial communication and interpersonal skills! The waiter, of sub-Saharan origin, is also extremely kind and knowledgeable, a plus for the place for having allowed for an excellent example of integration in our Sicily! The food is excellent, and the portions are always generous. When we order the "La Capannina" platter, we're already full when we get the pizza, but being brave, we always go all the way, satisfying our cravings. Our reservations with The Fork have always been honored without even having to point it out or remind the staff. What can I say, keep up the good work!!

Amazing pizza, exceptional product quality, very attentive staff, quick to meet customer needs. The owner, Simonetta, is very friendly and attentive to every detail. When we return to Catania, this place will be a must-visit.
