03/06/2025: Negative experience because even though I booked well in advance, I was given a room with inferior features to what I booked and when I asked to have another room as a replacement, even though there was availability, I was asked for an additional payment. Shocking.

01/08/2025: We celebrated our son's baptism and first birthday. The venue was worthy and suitable. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. As I've read in other reviews, I can confirm several negative aspects, such as guests' requests for missing dishes and plates, which only arrive after a prompt response. In our case, some items previously agreed upon were not fully provided. Chairs were missing, and I was forced to request them even though seating had been agreed upon in advance (despite it being a buffet). There were supposed to be decorations at the entrance that were completely missing. The favors for the cake table were instead placed behind the bar, when we should have found everything set up (this was also agreed upon in advance). Some courses were generous, while others were, to say the least, "limited," which makes me pause, because I'm not naive (pointing to the guests' "over-eagerness" as an excuse, something that is literally unheard of, and not true). I emphasize the owner's helpfulness, but unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the shortcomings I noted, and I should point out, very regrettably, that several guests also pointed them out to me. We definitely won't be returning.

29/06/2025: I celebrated my son's 18th birthday and everything was perfect. I thank the hostess and the catering for their professionalism and kindness.

11/07/2025: Ho ordinato due pizze, una margherita con patate e una focaccia vegana. Un incubo. La pizza margherita aveva una mozzarella scadentissima, gusto pessimo al massimo nauseante. La focaccia vegana condita stile pizza pomodorino rucola guacamola e noci...... Sapeva di nulla. Niente uno schifo, cambiate mestiere e carattere, troppo maleducati. 20 euro una. Margherita con patate e un mini focaccia da schifo. E tre miseri tovaglioli. Era un asporto. Cambiate mestiere. Capisco perche il locale i cessi è affollato e da voi e quasi sempre vuoto. Chiudete che é meglio. Lo. Dice uno che di pizze e lievitati se ne intende parecchio.

27/03/2025: Total scam. I should have known...cheapest cheese/ meat + drink combo price in town. The drink was decent. Meats and cheese were just out of supermarket package and did not look anything like picture. Smaller portion than pictured as well. At payment the dude tried to rip me off and ask for more than 7 euro. I should have just left when the meat and cheese platter did not match the picture. Will never go back!

04/08/2025: Mangiare una buona pizza siciliana non è facile. Il locale non è eccezionale, soprattutto in inverno al chiuso, ma la pizza siciliana è tra le migliori mai mangiate; talmente buona che ho accettato persino di assaggiarne una con la "contaminazione" dei funghi porcini, con risultato altrettanto strepitoso. Personale molto gentile. Unico handicap: le pizze sono talmente buone che in alcuni periodi/giorni è troppo affollata.

26/07/2025: Serve potenziare il servizio! La clientela supera di 5 volte la capacità dei clienti. Risultato: tempi di attesi infiniti!

27/04/2025: L'Agriturismo Il Sentiero degli Ulivi, situato a Santa Venerina, offre un'esperienza autentica nel cuore della Sicilia. La struttura è immersa in un paesaggio suggestivo tra uliveti e agrumeti, con una vista panoramica che spazia dall'Etna al mare. Il ristorante propone piatti della tradizione siciliana e catanese, preparati con ingredienti a km 0, come provolette al limone, ravioli in crema di pistacchio e dolci fatti in casa. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, contribuendo a creare un'atmosfera accogliente e familiare. La struttura è ideale per famiglie, grazie anche alla presenza di un'area giochi per bambini e spazi esterni ben curati. 02/08/2025: Everything was horrible, from the service to the food. The menu was only digital when the paper menu was mandatory. Furthermore, there was no internet connection and no photos. The prices were outrageous. I highly recommend it. Don't risk it. The staff was rude, except for one guy named Simone who was incredibly kind. Without him, we would have left. You're shameful.

02/08/2025: An experience not to be repeated: the wait was interminable, and the dishes arrived in spurts, taking over 20 minutes to arrive. Furthermore, the staff was uninterested and forgot which table the orders were going to.

03/08/2025: The beach and loungers are fine and clean. But the restaurant is, in my opinion, a disgrace. The staff apparently doesn't enjoy their work and is unfriendly. As a tourist/foreigner, you are treated differently/worsely than the locals. And the food was inedible (bruschetta and lasagna). The food felt and looked four days old. It's a shame, since you really want your guests to come for one meal during their entire vacation – we won't be eating there again.

25/06/2025: the coffe was horrendous. cappuccino was like milk with hot water, no coffee taste. the paninis had poor quality fillings. was pretty pricey compared to other places we’ve been to. very bad experience!

18/06/2025: We arrived at the place late at lunch time, around 3 pm, despite this, the owner was super kind to let us sit and prepare us some excellent sandwiches on the spot, with fresh bread made on the spot in the wood oven. Thank you very much for your kindness

05/06/2025: Posto Terribile, personale scontroso e maleducato. Attesa infinita per una semplice richiesta di granita al tavolo nonostante non c'era nessun cliente seduto. Assolutamente da evitare.

04/06/2025: On the morning of June 2nd, 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) went for breakfast. After finding a place on our own, the waitress arrived and, once the order was complete, in an embarrassing way😟, asked me to go to the cashier to pay; the employee gave me a discount of 29 cents, but as soon as she realized that the payment would be made by debit card, she took her word back🤦🏻‍♂️. Not even 10 minutes after the food arrived (slush in paper cups😱), a guy approached (in the pastry shop uniform, owner🤔??) who in a loud voice invited us to free the table because there were people waiting. Unfortunately, the children would not be able to finish what they ordered😔. Congratulations to the *gentleman*😒 for the delicacy shown.

28/06/2025: Intrigued by the presence of a section of vegetarian and vegan pizzas, I decided to try the section of this pizzeria on the occasion of the Thursday promotion in which the classic pizzas cost €5 and the special ones €7. Once they arrived I sadly noticed that these pizzas, the vegetarian and vegan ones, were not included in the promotion (because they do not fall into the "special" category, I deduce). But why categorize pizzas that, apart from the addition of vegetable cheeses (present only in some, or on request) are simple pizzas with vegetables? What is the difference between these and a green calzone (which is among the classics) and among the many others present on the menu in the classic and special sections? The "vegetarian" pizza itself is not part of this separate list, but it is among the classics (and is included in the promotion). It is clear that the "vegetarian/vegan" section was created for marketing reasons (and in fact, it worked: I placed the order first!) but that is precisely the problem. If you choose to promote yourself as a place that is attentive to the needs of those who follow a plant-based diet (with a page dedicated to the green proposal), excluding these pizzas from the weekly offers makes them "other", "different", and not an integral part of the menu. In this way, you penalize those who make a different ethical or dietary choice, and you betray the spirit of inclusiveness that a veg section should represent. My criticism is therefore not so much about the lack of transparency, as in fact if you refer to the mere title of the section it is right that vegetarian pizzas are not the object of the promotion, but the very choice behind this thing. A true veg-friendly menu should not be limited to a label, but should be fully integrated into the rest of the offer, promotions included, without therefore categorizing them separately as if they were "other". I repeat, the same pizzas could have easily been in the traditional sections of the menu (with possibly the surcharge for plant-based cheeses if requested). I write all this with regret, because the pizza was good, and I would have definitely ordered it again in the future, if I hadn't felt excluded instead of included. The goal of a veg-friendly menu should be to encourage the consumption of plant-based products even for those who are not vegetarian/vegan, but this is not the case and, in fact, in this way, it discourages it.

23/06/2025: I ordered two pizzas on justeat. One called for fried zucchini and instead it came with roasted zucchini. The other called for buffalo mozzarella and it came with a grainy cheese that didn't taste like buffalo. Last but not least, a hair stuck to the mozzarella. The only positive factor was the speed of delivery and the friendliness of the delivery boy.

29/07/2025: When you book on Saturdays and Sundays, they say it's €9, but then, upon arrival, they end up charging €10 for those days, displaying a sign but not mentioning it over the phone. And they also come by with croissants for €2.50 each to offer to anyone who falls for it.

A good coffee must be creamy brownish, where the sugar remains afloat in the cream of the same coffee... Maybe it's dosed incorrectly, they use less but the coffee I've had in this bar has always been rubbish, in addition to the watered down taste, it has a poisonous aftertaste.
