As soon as you enter, Gaetano, the owner, makes you feel right at home! Excellent food, delicious, unique beers, and delicious cocktails prepared with skill and professionalism! The splendid backdrop of Mount Etna enhances the delights you're enjoying even more! I recommend it to everyone.

08/02/2026: Discovered by chance last night, we start from the entrance a long avenue in the greenery, beautiful.. I found the owner's welcome special, I was there for a quick stop that was not at all quick, I had a cocktail but it turned out to be a real experience, sipping my Gin Tonic I had the opportunity to appreciate the way, the care in preparing every single drink of the very nice barlady Giusy, top.. it was a coincidence that I was there but I already feel that place home.. I will return soon 🔝

20/12/2025: The pizza is good and the prices are reasonable. The only drawback is the loud noise due to the large number of people in the room and probably poor acoustics. The appetizers and craft beers are also excellent.

02/04/2026: It had been about three years since I'd eaten at this restaurant. The last time was terrible, and I'd promised myself I'd avoid it like the plague. But since one of my friends had made a reservation there and it was a beautiful sunny day, I decided to be more relaxed and join them. I've never made a worse decision. The order was easy: a portion of potatoes and four dishes. The potatoes arrived half an hour later, followed by a plate of pasta. Another thirty minutes later, another dish arrived, and at the same time, they told us the other dishes ordered by the other diners were sold out (they only realized this an hour after ordering). We decided to order more, but after an hour, the other people still hadn't received their dishes. After another 35 minutes of waiting, they bring the cold and inedible dishes (worthy of hanging in the chef's face). All this with lost waiters who seem to be passing by by chance, dirty tables everywhere, and dozens of doves feasting on the tables, truly embarrassing, grotesque, and unhygienic. We order coffees just to hurt ourselves and wait there too, obviously they arrive cold. Dejected, we go to pay the bill, but at the register there is a brawl from customers at other tables who have had a nightmare lunch (a bit of everyone, to be honest), all while the boy at the register is looking for the manager or the owner, unable to handle the situation anymore. When our turn comes to pay and we point out the absolute inadequacy of the service and the kitchen, we hoped that they will come to their senses and that they will at least not make us pay for the cold dishes that arrived an hour after the first ones, but nothing! THEY EVEN MAKE US PAY FOR THE COFFEE. SHAMEFUL. A place that thrives on location alone, with exorbitant prices and gourmet portions, inexistent service, and cuisine that mimics haute cuisine with woeful results. Absolutely avoid.

02/04/2026: Big dogs that with their tails end up hairs on the plate, narrow spaces, high prices and commercial food, shame, beautiful and typical place and area full of good and very fresh fish and instead they use there, poor but the prices are of an extra luxury restaurant

22/02/2026: A beautiful location outside Catania, discovered by chance for a night out with colleagues. The pizza has a super light dough and exceptional toppings. Really good, I recommend it.

12/01/2026: Very nice and comfortable. A little out of the way from Catania, but with a beautiful view of Etna and Catania from above. Excellent parking and breakfast are served—you just have to order the day before. The service is very elegant, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Every time I pass through Catania, it's a regular stop, where I can feel a little at home and relax.

14/02/2026: I bought the buckwheat bread; to call it awful would be a compliment, truly inedible. But what's really annoying about this shop is the habit, confirmed by other reviews, of not giving 20 or 30 cents in change! The ladies, whose cash registers are full, feel entitled to "round up" the already high price of their products, obviously always to their advantage. So, if I have to pay €4.70, the receipt is correct, but the 30 cents are not given. IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RIGHT TO GET CHANGE, AND WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK FOR IT! Unfortunately, it's worth noting the behavior of customers from Catania who, rather than appear, in their opinion, to be looked at as poor, prefer to make a whole different kind of change and then complain as soon as they leave. Good morning, I can't find the option to interact with your reply, so I'll continue here. I didn't ask the cashier why, because I only noticed it once I got into the car, where my friend was waiting in the double parking lot. When I pointed it out to her, she said the same thing had happened to her. I'll also quote a review of your bakery on Tripadvisor: "IT'S NOT DONE! The products are excellent, but I don't appreciate the fact that they arbitrarily round up the price. I was very disappointed by this behavior. I regularly buy bread, and not just that." I reiterate, therefore, that it's not the 1, 2, or 3 cents you're talking about, the rounding of which we've become accustomed to. Kind regards

25/01/2026: For the first time I went to g g bistrot, at the entrance I had to say hello, loudly to the cashier, to receive a welcome greeting, they had almost not noticed my entrance. Thursday 50%, I scanned the menu and called the guy to order, American carbonara, he didn't tell me that at 50% it's only the classic one. It seems that words are paid for, I found out at the cashier, 16 euros for pasta, 250 ml of local wine 7 euros (28 euros per liter 😯) + normal cover charge. Arrived in 10 minutes, it doesn't smell good, in fact nothing special, only the mushrooms gave a little flavor, normal portion size. I honestly don't feel like going there again......
